What happens when the solar burns out? Those panels aren't easy to recycle and are expensive, and not good for the environment. It's great to live off grid though. We'd love to do it.
We will all be dead before they all "burn out". Most solar panels are guaranteed for 25 years but will still be producing power after 50 years, just not the rated power.
