I grew up in Louisiana in the United States around a bunch of Acadian French people who boil the crawfish in big pots with the corn and seasonings in the water, and then they are peeled and eaten. Your way of cooking crawfish has opened up a whole new way of thinking for me!

Born and raised in New Orleans, I grew up eating seafood all my life, especially "crayfish" as you say it. I never knew about removing the center part of the tail to get the "poop string" out in one go like that. You really can learn something new every day. Lol.
