Wow i can’t believe how funny you two guys are. I booked my flights for the Invierno already and now looking much more forward to it. Thank you so much for the fun!
It’s great to see you guys back on the Camino! Looks like you guys are traveling with different gear. I’d love to see another backpack gear list vid! Safe travels
Just got back and figured I'd give my experiences! I ended up arriving late as well, due to missing a bus and then my connecting train. Thankfully, I learned from your mistakes and packed two days of food, and I definitely needed it because I didn't find an open place until the third day (my second day was a Sunday). I was alone in that first municipal albergue up until 6pm, when someone else came in a taxi. Apparently they just started following arrows for 20km not realizing they were on the Frances. This was mid September, which we can assume is peak season? I think the most I ever saw in any hostel was 14 people, but that was multiple days worth of people due to the bottleneck that is A Rúa. Also, I didn't run into the big dog but another fellow pilgrim did. Sadly, I didn't get to see Las Médulas because it was completely fogged up. Y'all got real lucky with the weather.
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences! We love hearing how your Camino went. Good thing you brought a bunch of food with you and didn't have the issue with the mastiff. You'll have to go back to the Medulas another time. They're worth a visit in good weather.
Nice to see you guys on the Camino again. I try to do one a year. In February I was on the Coastal Portuguese route. I’m thinking I might try this route that you are doing. Thank you for doing one of the lesser known routes! Buen Camino!
@@DaysWeSpend this last time I went slow, and took 14 days to complete. I went during the first two weeks of February and didn’t get a drop of rain. The coastal route has less Albergues, but I was able to find a place to stay each night.
You guys are the best! Great attitudes and energy you bring. So many questions for you! From your experience, would a later in the year camino been a better experience? Would it be wise to have started in Leon walking en route to the Invierno? Were unleased dogs a problem? Any infrastructure for supporting a spiritual and religious camino (pilgrim masses)? What resource did you use? Brierley?
Thanks so much (we have fun!). Starting from Leon sounds like a great idea. The Invierno is kind of short so adding a few days is great. Unleashed dogs are definitely present but nothing happened to us. Always be careful though. We passed a few churches but unfortunately we weren’t looking for mass or any services, but I’m sure there is plenty of local information in some of the towns if you search. And we just stuck with the Wise Pilgrim app for the Invierno. Worked great.
Here looking for ideas for my second camino coming December, would love to do Invierno but I'm a solo girl thus I dont think i have the courage to be alone for days. Maybe i'll attempt it in the summer :)
You might have more luck walking the Frances or the Portuguese to meet other pilgrims in winter. Definitely save the Invierno for summer; it's a fun route!
Great vlog. You two are good presenters. We’re planning to walk the Camino Invierno in June 2024. A question, did you encounter other unleashed dogs on the walk (barking dogs are not a problem). I think I read somewhere else about this dog. We’ve walked four Caminos and have only had one experience with an aggressive dog. Again, thanks for the video and narrative. Buen Camino
Thanks for watching. We did encounter a few other unleashed dogs along the way, but that big dog on day one or two was the only really scary one. Make sure you have walking sticks and you’ll be good. Buen Camino!

We're so glad to be back! Once the vlogs are posted, we've each got a full packing list video explaining all the gear. :)
Love to watch your Camino videos.
Thanks so much!
So much fun! Have a great time!
Thank you!
So great to watch this! What an amazing (but a little chilly) Camino Route. Love your energy and fun. Invierno looks fantastic!
So glad that you shared our journey. :)

Amazing to see those empty albergues. It's more like the Shikoku 88 pilgrimage than any of the other Camino videos I've seen.
Yeah it was wild to be in those massive Albergues all by ourselves.
Very enjoyable. Can’t wait till the next adventure. Peace.😊👍👍
Thank you! ❤️
Great video can't wait to see the rest.
Thanks so much!
So glad to see you guys on the camino again - and an albergue all to yourself? happy days. go well.
Thanks so much!
Love your videos. Thank you. What was the app you mentioned for the camino? The wisely app ?
Thank you! We used the Wise Pilgrim app.

Buen Camino! How was the coast in February? We’d love to do that one in an off season.
The Invierno is great! Go for it!

I did the Camino Francés in winter alone as a girl and it was pretty amazing. Super nice people and no tourigrims 😂 GO GIRL!

I am seeing you now on this path
We loved the Invierno.
You guys are too cute. So sad about the dude that froze to death.
HAHAHAHAHAHA. Since he forgot his layers, maybe he got what was coming to him. lol
I dunno this hiking looks like an awful lot of walking man... it just does.
%^)
HAHA. So much walking.
Your videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Can I talk with you shawn?
