i bought the open hearted version instead of this.. when i see it in the shop the blue hands looks awesome but i cant resist the open heart where you can see the gear inside.. but soon imma buy this one too coz both looks cool cant decide

The only thing I'm not a fan of is the strap, but that's far from a reason not to buy as you can pick up a strap :)

The cream dial is just fabulous
Great Review on a great watch, I recieved mine today and am a bit surprised over how yellow the dial actualy is and the lacker on the strap, with the 21mm lugs and the domes crystal they are obviesly going for the vintage look, but i do think they went a bit overboard with the fake patina,- but non the less i love the watch for its features and style for the pricepoint, its definently a keeper.
It's not a fake patina. It's a beige dial. Important distinction in my opinion. I like it very much. Sorry that you didn't like it, but then there are other models with white dials, arent't there?

the hand on the minutes is goind to the next minute before the hand of the seconds pass 60 seconds . Has anyone notice this ?
Is it me or have these watches gone down in price? Just a little bit ago they could go for 200 bucks or more. Now you can get them for 130 bucks! I just bought one. Been wanting it for a long time!!

The hands are not heat treated blue, they are painted or blued by cheaper means.
Thanks for your comment. When the first gen was released people was talking about it having heat treated blue hands. I thought it was the same with this one. I tried to look it up now but i can't find anything on it. It does not say it is painted or heat treated. So i guess we should assume it's not. Will do some more research on it

You can usually tell painted blue hands by the lighter blue colour around the edges of the hands. Painted blue hands also have a different glow in the light.
If you have a good close look at the well known heat treated blue hands you will see the difference. Have a look at some IWC hands.

They had that, but in a black leather strap. Unfortunately sold out.

ORIENT makes great dress watches and divers
At around $200 this watch should have a sapphire crystal. And being doomed I’m sure the mineral crystal gets scratched more easily. For that reason I pass. I have an Orient Ray and it is my only watch with scratch marks. And I don’t recall ever doing anything to cause the scratch. I vowed for now on only sapphire crystals for me.
Can't decide if I should get this or the gold one!

I wonder if this watch would be better served with a acrylic crystal, at least some scratches could be buffed out.
+MrBacchus18 I honestly think you are right. Mineral is the worst crystal imo. Easy to scratch, almost impossible to fix. Acrylic, very easy to scratch, very easy to fix. Would prefer sapphire though.

It's a dress watch. Don't go hammering, jackhammering, MMA fighting or anylhing like that and it will be fine.
hopefully the genaration 3 has the same great f67 movement, with hacking and hand winding, but also has a doomed saphire crystal, now that's a bambino i would buy. thank god ive got an orient with saphire glass, cant tell you how many times ive smashed the glass on the door handles and frames. ha! i would pay an exstra £40 for it.
@@steveulliott4106 i myself can't find bambino with sapphire. gen 3 and gen 4 was still using a mineral crystal. so i bought the fac08003a and mod it to sapphire.
@@luthfanakbar6842 i think you mean version 1,2,3,4, there are only 2 generations, and 4 versions for gereration 2, but i like that you changed your v4 bambino to saphire Crystal, do you get a new rubber gasket, how did you do it, would like to give this a try myself?

Yes. usually need a strap removal tool or small flathead screwdriver.

That's actually a stylistic choice, this watch only shows 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 as roman numerals. Probably for spacing, if I had to guess

It’s a total piece of shit ! Do not buy it !
40.5mm is far too large for the style of watch, and for small men and most Asian's it's silly on them. 21mm lug width will insure that it gets even fewer buyers and exponentially fewer strap changes. This will look even more dated than the era of blingy, patent-leather looking ceramic bezels in a few years.
