We lost Ol' T. today. And God gained a great one. Olive Hill lost a son. God bless and may he rest so easy. Eddie Stubbs was an icon himself.
So sad to hear of Tom's passing, one of my all time favourite singer songwriters, RIP Tom T.
It could be that the good lord likes a little pickin' too.
@@RemingtonRidersMusica classic and great response. To borrow a line from one of Ol' T's songs.
@@shannonburns6724 Thanks, Shannon. ❤
Like thousands of others… his music brought such joy to me for decades. Another great entertainer gone, but, how grateful we must be to have had him in our lives. Singing with the angels, now. 💕

Me and Jimmie Rodgers is such a wonderfuL song !
Lord, I miss him!
Just loved Tom T. Halls’ song writing. He is and will be missed so so much.
Tom T Hall was one of my very favorite Country Music Singers.
Tom T, Hall a legend, I’ll never forget this man. Sing what ever you want. Because you will never be forgotten. The most down to earth person I,VE ever met. I don’t know why these people are trying to find a chink in his armor. Let it go some of the greatest people ever to meet in person are the most , in formative in this class.
Never forget what they have on ethos is not the end of the he story as the government has tightened the noose. God Bless You !

One of the greatest, period!
What a humble guy
A great storyteller in both song and spoken word; I am so grateful for his songs.
My Mother was from the Olive Hill, KY area and I have family all over Eastern KY. According to the US Census, the population in Olive Hill peaked in 1980 at 2,539 and in 2020 listed at 1,580. It is a beautiful area.

Hello how are you doing?
Love it, Tom T. is a long time favourite of mine. Saw him in person in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, many years ago, at the Canadian National Exhibition.
May he R.I.P. he will be remembered
Oh, that's good stuff! Thank you.
What a great radio voice! And I’m not referring to my favorite, Tom T.
Guess, The Easterlings will be getting a big lawsuit prepared real soon & love the story & how you use mostly real life experiences to write the best country songs ever written.
Awesome evening with Eddie Stubbs.
The real Storyteller!
He might not have changed the names in Harper Valley PTA but almost anyone who lived close to the school knew who he was writing about.
