Lol if that was the case then ppl couldn’t disparage Lebron for making the right clutch play. They want to keep it at “shots” so they can have an argument against Bron, but he has the most playoff buzzer beaters now so even that won’t work. Lebron is the most clutch player of all time, in large part due to his IQ and willingness to make the right play at all times, even if it means someone else takes the shot. (See Lakers vs Warriors 2021 7/8 Play In Game- Lebron dagger, See Lakers vs Timberwolves 2023 7/8 Play In game- Lebron assist on D. Schroeder 3 to take lead)

It’s tough call because there are plenty of ways any of these were most clutch but I’m going with Micheal Jordan. He did his thing but what made him so lethal was his mission was only to beat the opposing team but he wanted make sure he would embarrass them and demoralize them on a level that no player ever did. Also it depends who you grew up watching. There are people who saw growing up Kareem, same with Kobe , LeBron , bird but i grew up watching MJ dominate so I’m going with Jordan

Again more longevity numbers from JJ. A number of factors should be considered when determining most clutch. One of those imo is the ability to seal the deal when the game hangs in the balance. When their isn’t much separation between your team and the other team. Lebron and Kobe have dropped the ball in some of these big moments. They have come up less than what you’d think. Mj delivers in these moments more than they do. He’s more clutch than them.

A lot of people are confusing being great at one attribute with being great at everything so there's a lot of MJs, And Lebrons etc. IMO the most clutch player in NBA history is "Big Shot" Robert Horry. When it matters the most in the playoffs, you give him the ball with a few seconds left in the game and he will knock down the shot.
