Yes'rrr i have the limited edition south pole in Vanadis4E steel and man i was quite impressed with the fit and finish and also how well they heat treat their steel... I agree they're expensive but if you're only going to buy one knife for a specific purpose then TRC would be a great choice indeed
A good review of the TRC South Pole 👍I own a lot of knives, serie and customs, from different brands. The quality from TRC is outstanding, the fit and finish is perfekt of all the knives I own from TRC (Apocalypse, Mille Cuori, South Pole, Pohlheim and Classic Freedom Full Flat). The South Pole is my favorite knife from TRC and my most used EDC fixed blade. I own four South Pole, the old with screwed handle scales (Elmax), the Apo Finish (Elmax), the 10th Anniversary (M390) and the V4E DLC (Vanadis 4 Extra).
When you compare the price to a lot of average folders, especially benchmade ones and chris reeve, which isnt even chris reeve anymore. Long with a lot of spydercos etc, yes it's an expensive knife but compared to the price you'll for a lot of folders, or 'take your chances' bark river i think they are worth thr money, considering their heat treatment, excellent materials and second to none fit n finish, i think it's well worth the money
The Dutch bush crafters did a review and the satin finish would through sparks With the rounded spine but the knife with the apocalyptic finish would not

Nice. Glad you liked the video
TRC best of the best.
This one is on my list.
It was on mine too
Good review, thank you. I really like most of TRC's designs and steel. I just don't have a budget for their pricing.
I agree, they are really steep. Thank you

@Darrenski that’s true, TRC makes good stuff
It’s the apocalyptic finish that makes it hard to use a ferro rod with,, looks good though.
Huh I figured it’s because of the rounded spine

Oops throw sparks haha 😂 DBK this knife was designed to do everything
@@randallhunt6587 that’s interesting. My apocalypse satin did throw sparks too now that I think of it
Noice knoife
It is
"Batoning? Just use an axe bro!"
You need to get with the program buddy. Just use a saw.
I saw that one coming!🤣
When you do fighting and combat moves against a tree…..have any of them armed themselves and stabbed back at you? If so…what happened?
Chin jiggling comment of the day yay
Agree with you this company is costly.
It is, they are nice though
