As an Oilers fan, I'm not even mad anymore. We played a helluva game 4-6, and it's fun watching the Panthers party hard. I'm also really happy to see Maurice finally get a cup, what a soulcrushing experience it would've been for him to lose while being that close to finally get the cup.

I have been at a few of the big celebrations of the week Ithey won. went to club 11 I was there at the parade parentheses there were a ton of and the biggest partiers were our healthy scratches lol Mackey Samoskevich was off the rails as was Spencer night if you thought Lamborghini was the only one to crowd surf at club 11, Spencer Knight made crowd surfing look like an every day routine. The amount of times he was passed around the crowd. I myself saved him from falling on the ground a couple of times
To be honest, all I can feel watching thiw is "yuck this floor and their clothes must be so sticky adter that"
Drinking out of a flip-flop thats way over the line... no way the booze is going to stay in there.
To be honest ! Oilers fans have no one else to blame but them self they partied after Game #6 like they just won the Stanley Cup instead of curbing their enthousiam and waiting after Game #7 before celebrating. End Result they ran out of juice in Game 7 and the Florida Panthers just won their first Stanley Cup after being finalist last year. Maybe Oilers will too learn from their mistake and be back to the SCF next year where they can undo their mistake and win this time !

Absolute true story from Montreal, Quebec: two guys I played hockey with were out camping with a bunch of friends. One guy accused the other guy of dumping beers, to give the appearance he was keeping up. A fight ensued. 💯 Canadian.

If you're not far from the Ontario/Quebec or Ontario/Manitoba borders, you can always make a day trip and stock up.
Don't understand what those bozos at the LCBO are striking for. Here in Quebec, our SAQ (liquor stores) do just fine
while the grocery stores sell beer and other alcohol aside from hard booze. The same system can work in Ontario, too.

I never seen a team act like university students on spring break with the Stanley cup taking it into the ocean salt water they just didn't act like professionals most teams have there party's out of sight but seeing it treated like some kind of toy pouring drinks onto side walk in plain sight I just never seen the cup treated like this I know hey exciting but it looked more like spring break in Florida
I agree. Most athletes I’ve met don’t drink alcohol. Not a good example being set here.
Did you know in 1905 a player kicked the Cup into the Rideau Canal. When Colorado won it a couple years ago Aube Kubel spiked it into the ice. There are hundreds of stories like that, It's a trophy that's meant to be celebrated.
Also, it's not yours and you'll never win it so it doesn't really matter how you think it should be treated.
