Well done Coventry, a club that’s been through some unbelievably tough times. But iron forges iron and they are a credit to the fans.
That's nonsense though. The media and the neutral fans just love to hate on United, and they also love an underdog and when upsets happen, and you're just buying into it. United deserved to win, they dominated the first half, and the stats were all in their favour over the entire course of the game. If it were a boxing match, they'd easily have won on points. Coventry just got lucky in the second half, and that happens in football sometimes, it was a flukish 35 minutes, where they scored a nothing goal, a deflected goal, and then a cheap penalty in the 5th minute of extra time for a soft handball. Granted you should give them credit for getting back in the game, and think United should have done better, but sometimes things just don't go your way, and it's very easy to blame the United players and think they clocked off, or to act like Coventry are some lowly team that deserved to win, simply because they're the underdogs, and because the United team is highly paid. But it's just a nonsense reason to think they deserved it. Like I said, their goals were all flukish, whereas United's all came from creative and accurate play, and even if you think Coventry were unlucky with the VAR decision, they were clearly the ones riding their luck the majority of the game, with United also hitting the underside of the crossbar and having it miraculously bounce away from goal. Ten Hag is right to criticize the media for their reaction to the game, and it's always this constant attack on United and their players/staff. It's boring.

Coventry deserved the win, but once again the penalty lottery sends the wrong team through. Hold your heads high, you fought with everything you had. Nobody could ask for more. I have not been more excited watching a non international football game since Spurs took on chelsea a couple of months before christmas.
@@piggywahwah I dont agree with how competitions are won by the team with the bigger wallet, yes there are exceptions but as a rule the richer clubs win the trophies. Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Arsenal, they are all regular title contenders. I remember Chelsea and City BEFORE they were bought out by billionairs, they were getting nowhere near the title. Then all of a sudden they are title contenders. I don't agree with that concept, but i still enjoy the sport, always have. I like international games and tournements more than club ones because those are won on talent, not money. There was a time many moons ago when i did support Man United, but that was about 2 decades ago at the height of their might before a realised this was a buisness not a sport, now they are just another team. My dad is a spurs fan so i kinda have a soft spot for them, but i don't support them. I will still cheer for their opponents if they are playing a good game.

It's ridiculous - None of the officials called it live, and there's no way that a definitive call can be made via the VAR - one frame either way and he's onside or offside AND the ball is either touched or not touched. In that circumstance it should be "insufficient evidence to overturn the live call"

I'm 78. I've witnessed the extraordinary magic of the FA Cup since the early 1950s. This match is yet another example of the almost supernatural things that seem to happen. I'll say well done to both sides for a great match played with 100% commitment and energy and plenty of skill.
Toon fan here, that was an amazing comeback, when your 4th went in, I was off my seat like the Toon had scored, you's should be so proud Coventry, it would of been great to see you's in the final.
Sensational match, Coventry deserved the win for sure, good football
Liverpool fan but I shed a tear for those magnificent Coventry fans today. To see their utter disbelief and joy at 3-3 and thinking they have won it at 4-3 was magnificent. Such a shame. Hold your heads up high. 👏👏👏
We don’t care ya bin dipper
Полностью согласен с тобой друг мой🙌 МЮ не заслужили эту победу 🤬

a United fan but felt sorry for Coventry and embarrassed for United to win the way we did...Coventry deserved to be in final at least they would av stood some chance at beating City.
liverpool fan and i wouldve wanted man united to win cuz if they lost to a championship team it would be a shame to whole premiership teams
Coventry City now become everybody’s favourite championship team.
Congratulations Coventry ❤ you have my heart 🙏🏾💪🏾 well played
In all matches I've ever watched as a neutral, this was one the few where my jaw genuinely dropped witnessing this comeback. Magnificent from Coventry, fans can be proud of their team. Better luck next time!
As a Neutral who doesn't support a club but still watches for the thrill of the sport, i was blown away by the heart and soul of coventry here. They never went down, they kept going, everyone in that stadium in blue was amazing and it was amazing to watch that fightback. Coventry deserved the win, but once again the penalty lottery sends the wrong team through.
Hold your heads high, you fought with everything you had. Nobody could ask for more.
I have not been more excited watching a non international football game since Spurs took on chelsea a couple of months before christmas.
how the hell u not support a club.... its easy just pick one and enjoy :)
For me, it saves me from a constant headache. I can tell because of the constant wrong decisions given by the ref and VAR
Coventry has gained a lot more supporters after thier heroic game on Sunday . Should have won with that 4th goal .
Why do so many of you start with "As a..."? We don't care what you think you are!
What fantastic fans Coventry have.Forza Milan ,forza Coventry

Coventry lost the game but won every football fans’ heart!
United fan but yes Coventry deserved to be in final and get the fairy tale comeback that only the FA cup can produce.
Coventry respect button 💪🏻 A team from mid EFL at 3 goals behind, they did not give up and continuously finding opportunities to win the game. What a match !!! I do very respect this team rn. Poor coventry get cancelled by VAR united. They shoud be the team to final of their epic comeback.
offside is offside however sad it is
Cheers for showing us 5 replays of every goal and a replay for each celebration, but leaving out most of the shootout. Great work again ITV 💪

They should have scored more goals than

What a team! Coventry you were magnificent today. Best wishes for next season from Bristol.
The biggest robbery in an Fa cup semi final...this man u team doesn't deserve to play in any final
Hope Coventry can make it through to the Playoffs this season, I’ll be rooting for them
I'm Chelsea.....was in tears of joy when Coventry got their third....tears of joy for those fans of Coventry....we'll done you did yourselves proud
As a cov fan, im immensely proud of the lads that played today 👏 👍 worth the travelling down to Wembley.
You were brilliant. The whole country wanted you to go through. Even a lot of United fans, I'd bet.
Brilliant Display Mate, so gutted for you ALL. regards From Sheffield
Gutted for you lads, even though you deservedly put us (Wolves) out I really wanted you to win today. The final is a bit of a formality, we all know the outcome tbh. Yours is the story of the cup this year.
A true comment from a true fan... 👏👏👏 In the end it was just football... Wat a day tho wat a game of footy well from 71st min
Leicester fan here.
You were so amazing! I was honestly gutted!!!!
But feel proud!!
Would love to see this Coventry side back in the prem, what spirit!
I witnessed this as live.unlucky coventry.those guys who missed penalties are the main reason coventry to play extra time, what a game by them.this will remain one of the best Fa cup game of all time.Commentaters🥵🥵
That VAR decision is shocking. Coventry have been robbed of the greatest comeback in FA cup history.
Bro the margin was tight but that was offside, admit it
You should be ashamed of yourself for enjoying being stupid. We are going to remove the off-game rule to please your desire. Lol
@@rinkupoptani676 According to VAR's rules its offside but what advantage is he gaining by being a toenail's width offside
The penalty was cheap aswell, not given against city tho

I'm a Leicester fan but good god that VAR decision was disgusting. Defender leaning forward, striker leaning back, his big toe is offside giving zero advantage. Would love to get rid of it

what a performance and dedication by Coventry, a Prem material

Wow. Coventry City should be immensely proud. Fully deserved to win that game.
Feel bad for Coventry. What a remarkable performance.
I'm sorry but that offside call is just ridiculous. Var is systematicly destroying football
True
It was a marginal call. Clearly you don't remember football pre-VAR. Where you could have someone be 2 yards onside and get called offside. Now that's robbery.
True, it was very harsh. But then so was the penalty.
Garnacho was offside vs Arsenal just like this, so why is this one any different? Because of your hatred for Man United?
Yes. They got robbed. Was called just so it can to penalties
Definition of never give up , the world are proud of Coventry FC, respect ❤ MC tominay movement for that first goal is class
City fan here,Hats off to Coventry absolute legends played amazing and made an insane comeback against United..If city win right I am giving credit to Coventry..Coventry ❤❤

Coventry you guys played great, what a great comeback, all in all you guys were fantastic, hope you'll be a strong team!💙
Gutted for Coventry, what a performance they put in.
At the same time, I do feel they got a bit lucky. The second goal was a fluke deflection and the third was an unintentional handball for a penalty. Exciting match, but i felt deep down Man UTD deserved the win.
They were clearly robbed
The beauty of the FA cup has always been watching the minnows do well against the giants. That was the case here too the minnows winning and making it to the final!
So proud of the Sky Blue's team staff and fan's 💙🇬🇧🙏
Coventry won this game. That goal was onside. United are a very lucky team.
The luck of the (red) devil.

The passion and determination conventry city had is unbelievable, this is not a victory I would celebrate as a Manchester united fan this season
Respect for Coventry City
Yup guys won the hearts
City can sleep easier now they play United in the final and not Coventry
Either way they would walk it in . Going to be a snooze fest final
Shambolic performance from Manchester United
Great effort by Cov. Delighted for Ten Hag to take United to 2 consecutive FA Cup Finals with apparently the worst manager and players in history. I supported our boys when we were relegated in 74 so they will always have my support win, lose or draw. If you can't support our Manager and players while we are going through a transition you don't deserve to support us when we're back winning! GGMU. #GlazersOutNow
Sky Blues put in a performance today. Thought we were done at 3 - 0 but what a comeback. Let's hope we can take that spirit into the remaining championship fixtures. 💙💙
That last Coventry goal was in fact A goal. Coventry deserved to pass through. I am shocked at this
But he was offside though, right?
Nope
Have people lost their minds 🤨. It was clearly offside. I know people wanted the perfect fairytale ending but VAR did it's job brilliantly here.
It was offside
The drawn line is not straight. Magnify it.
That fucking offside was out of order! They were level!! Goal!
Pretty bad of the player, he only looks at the ball and was totally out of bound. That Bissaka almost made him onside was more horrible defending than good attacking. United got lucky.
Is that really what VAR is about? Come on ruining greatest comebacks in history, just so gutting to watch sickening.
PUSB.

Well ! I've been a Man.U. fan since Fergie went there, but I have to say that any Club of their stature who are leading 3-0. against a lower league side and were more than lucky to survive, did not deserve to win ! My heart goes out to Coventry City and their great support ! They did not deserve to lose like that. The Coventry goal that was deemed offside was harsh in my opinion as was the " Man u handball ". Great performance Coventry. All the best in pushing for promotion to Premier League next season.
This was probably the best semi-final I’ve ever watched in a cup competition Coventry to go three nil down then draw 3-3 then to penalties to unfortunately meet there demise a true shame but they should be immensely proud of themselves because my god they deserve it!

Well done.. and Utd were piss poor again... Questions need to be asked... And atoo blaming Ten Hag, hes not playing the bloody game is he.. Devastated for Coventry great performance👏🏻
These toenail ‘offsides’ which are impossible to call even with the lines, are taking all the romance and joy out game. What a moment that could of been for Coventry, something needs to change.
It's ridiculous - None of the officials called it live, and there's no way that a definitive call can be made via the VAR - one frame either way and he's onside or offside AND the ball is either touched or not touched. In that circumstance it should be "insufficient evidence to overturn the live call"
@@jozzasI completely agree. That offside decision was correct on the field. Even with VAR I didn’t think the player was offside. It should have been a good goal.

The FA have got the exact final they desired again.

The FA are constantly selling out to EUFA. These rubbish European competitions are throttling our game at home. How can the "Champions League" be called such when 75% or 80% of the teams in it are not even champions in their own country? Money, money, money; that's all EUFA and the FA are interested in. None of those lot have ever played the game but they won't rest until they've got their European Leagues and they've destroyed all of the national leagues around Europe just so that they can enjoy their extra fat wallets.

The blue line drawn by var actually goes over the top of Wan Bissaka boot (you can even see it in the video but clearer images been posted on X), if drawn properly the lines would be level, Coventry got done over by VAR
