My skin has suffered through some bad acne, I went to the doctor, and it is clearing up thanks to epiduo. Although I have found when I wash my face both morning a night my skin get very dry. So I have cut down to washing only at night. The dryness is mainly around my mouth which is strange considering there aren't any spots there and I don't put epiduo there. The dryness has also made my skin very irritable. It has been so cracked that I could barely move my mouth I have tried many different sensitive skin moisturizers but they have all seemed to burn my face to the point of tears. I have found aloe Vera to help a tad bit but is there something better I could use? By the way thank you for the tips on washing! They are very helpful :)
Skylar, I recommend Please stop your epiduo for 1 week, moisturize twice daily during this time. Look for a moisturizer with ceramides in it. Then restart it, but use epiduo every other day. If still irritating, then leave epiduo on for 5 minutes, and then wash off. Check with your dermatologist if things aren’t much improved with the dryness within 1 month of doing this. The Clarisonic instructions say to do the forehead for 20 seconds, the nose and chin for 20 seconds, and each cheek for 10 seconds. Is there a reason you flipped those?

So how do you close your pores?... i was told you have to use cold water for that... or do you just wash with warm water then air dry your face?

Their reasoning is that the T zone is usually outlier and the cheeks are more sensitive.
