Hey mate . Any suggestions for a similar quad that starts but hasn't got much power ?? Exhaust is dripping oil and I think it's been sitting in a garage for a while so maybe bad fuel ?
Hey man I'm pretty sure my sons 50cc quad bike pawls have gone, I can't find any replacement online and I'm not sure what I actually need to purchase to include those pawls, a centrifugal clutch doesn't come with them and the outer plastic case with the pull cord doesn't include them, any suggestions what I actually need to replace please ?
Im not a mechanic but I've tinkered. These aren't difficult things to play with, but if you can't find the pawls on ebay, Amazon or whatever, you may need to take it to a repair shop. Strip it down and have a go. Good luck mate.
Hey mate please tell me you know where the idle adjustment is. Mine starts but just revs out heaps, the carb looks extremely similar to the one in this vid.

My 2 stroke tron 50cc Chinese quad won’t start. I cleaned the carb, new gas, new spark plug, fuel lines good. Not sure anymore. I noticed it has an automatic choke and a oil line that goes to the carb. Can’t figure it out turns over but sounds like it’s choking.
Hi, my mini bike starts to run, without touching the throttle, it’s won’t stop running either, even when I press the kill switch and turn off the ignition. After a new minutes it eventually cuts out by itself, but I need to hold the breaks until it does so. Do you have any ideas what this issue could be please?
Hey both mine do the same, start it and the bike wants to take off with no throttle. Lift the back end up and the wheels spin so fast and if my idle screw set any lower the bike will stall. The bike has no neutral and is pretty much always in gear. Did you figure our the problem, or take yours to a mechanic in the end?
Put a bit of oil in the fuel. Dont pull to hard on the cord or you'll break it. Clean the spark plug, clean the safety switch lead connector. Check that fuel is getting to the carby.Good luck.

Hi, I'm not sure but i measured the distance between the mount holes and found the correct one on eBay. When you take yours off you'll see the different pulley wheel.
You'll have to take it off. The internal spring could have broken. These things dont need strength to pull. It should be just a light pull. Thats why i replaced the pully.
@@BRUISER1 I took it off when it’s off I can pull it and it releases back but when I put it on the quad and tried to pull it and it gets tight and won’t low me to pull
@@Noddiah did you check the central cog. Make sure its the same shape as the original. You said you already got a new one. If this doesn't work, you'll need to take it to a mechanic, the crank could be jammed and not rotating.

2 stroke takes only a few mill mixed in with the fuel

Too much oil can cause it to spit out, but if it's dropping power, check the air filter. Even on a lawnmower the air filter makes a huge difference

Sounds like you had a good crack it. Maybe you're correct something from the choke to the carby

Sounds like the idol choke is open too much. Not sure exactly. Take it to your local mechanic they'll sort it for you.

How do I recoil the cord. I've just pulled it all the way out
Try removing the cover and winding it back, but if its not returning on its own, it could be broken and you'll need to replace it.
i haven’t mixed any oil in to the fule being unaware and its not starting it wants to but just isn’t

This is the one i got. Look at the inner cog. There are 2 different types.

You do not need to pull the throttle when starting……
No you shouldn't need too, but giving it a bit of gas can help, but becareful not to flood the carbi
