I used to do stuff like this at my dads shop when I was 10. Dumpster or for like $50 on classifieds. learn and fix them, then sell them. These are a great learning experience. I learned how to negotiate with these things😂😂😂

I got a mini moto and got a new engine for it its a blue race tuned one (as far as i know) sounds good when pulling it just wont start atall doesnt seem to be any responce when i pull throttle either also taking the thing off the bottom of carb will i have to drain the petrol from it?

So i recently cleaned carburetor, air filter, spark plug, fuel filter on my pocket bike and it will only turn on and work if i spray some gasoline in cylinder hole where spark plug goes it will turn on immediately or after riding and its still hot it will turn on, but when its cold and not turn on couple of hours or day later it will not turn on, only spraying gasoline in hole or when its hot after rides, what do i need to do guys

so, i work at autozone and a customer came in and asked all of us if we wanted a little crotch rocket and so i was like bet, little fixer upper but turns out it needs a lot of things which is fine but i dont know which kind so ive kinda been guessing. the bike doesnt have any vin or brand or anything like that one and the bolts are all stripped i dont kno what size gas tank it takes too
Got mine started and everything but as soon as I take my hand off the throttle it dies. Anyone know why?

Hello we just changed the engine as 1st engine didnt go long and seized up. New engine in does start but then cuts off. Please can you tell us if this is anything to do with idler screw setting or the throttle adjuster as when we fit the engine we tightened throttle fixing fully and been messing about with idler screw.
Yeah could be a carburetion issue. Honestly it's hard to give you any advice without seeing it.

hey man how do these things create spark ? my uncle tossed me one in a tote in pieces an it has good compression has spark but seems to be weak i never cleaned the carb yet im going to now but what would i have to clean up or do for better spark if the carb cleaning dont help
They have an ignition coil located near the flywheel and when the magnets on the flywheel pass the ignition coil it creates a spark. At least that's how most of them are
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow yep i figured that out didnt no if there was more to it i got it adjusted right now , the back of the carb where u can see the choke move just an air filter or am i missing a piece, thanks for the quick reply also !

Mines is the same one but it drives and then it would die. But start right up and die again. Possibly where too start Searching.?
Could be a restriction in the fuel tank Outlet or the fuel hose. Or the carburetor Inlet. Have you taken the carburetor off and inspected and cleaned? Also check for if it has a fuel filter.
The carb is clean no black build ups. It just started happening. I was able too see threw the inlet.
It also does have a fuel filter its a clear one. Soo i can see the fuel.
Could be that you have to adjust the air fuel ratio screw as well. As the weather changes, you always need to tweak with that on Two Strokes

lol i use one of those torch cleaners to clear jets out....I read online the rough section on the torch cleaner can open the jet changing your mixture ....LOL ok don't grind on it all-day. that little thing cruised right along with you on it.....i can't believe you found that in the garbage wth
Haha yeah it was definitely a good trash find! And yes I've also had people tell me that about using the torch cleaner on jets in the past. As long as you don't get crazy with it like you said, it's fine. But I could see some rookie getting in there and filing away at it
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow hahaha like this clown i know using a beam style torque wrench and when he reaches the torque the beam drops and he keeps crankin till he ripping the threads out of the cylinder head bolts

Sorry, I suppose I should have specified that. Into the air box /carburetor throat if it doesn't have an airbox on it

@@mertcapkin7263 yes correct. Basically where the engine sucks Air in. Although you have to be careful to not do it more than once or twice, because most starter fluids do not have a upper cylinder lubricant built into them like your pre-mixed two stroke gas will
