Great video, thanks! I ordered the iDesign center console organizers using your links. Clever idea about adding the magnets to the 1EVs. EV Sportsline also introduced a new version of the 1EVs with an O-ring to hold them in place, and they'll exchange the old version for the new one for just the cost of shipping.
I highly agree with the heat shield roof top window sun shade. It does make a big difference in keeping the interior cool. I also wished I got the gold outer lining since it has the black undersurface. I got the silver and it has a white surface. I also got the front windshield which makes a big difference also. I went xpel xr ceramic tint on the side and back windows so that did a good job blocking heat. Went 35%
Nice video EVLander, glad to see the Team 1EV puck make the list! Nice work with the magnets! The newer version of the Jack Pucks have integrated o-rings on the post to secure them to the Rivian!
Awesome video! For the roof, it seems weird but consider a roof wrap that will cost you $250 for satin black. Blocks out all the heat and allows you to drive with the windows down as needed. I don’t miss the view, but of course with a sheet up, there’s no view anyways.
I have #5, just ordered #3 (wondered how the roof stayed put but see it is suction cups), and plan to order #4 (good idea on the magnets. Take a peek at what the service center uses and you’ll find similar but beefier). #2 looks like it fits like glove!
I just got my Rivian and was concerned about the jack pucks. I have to get my car inspected and told the guys in the shop to not lift the truck. I have owned a Tesla for 4 years, that is how I know about the pucks. Sad to see the pucks for a Rivian are so expensive compared to the 20 bucks a set of four costs for a Tesla.😮
If you are off-roading, a spare tire is a must. I carry tire plugs and side wall patches with me also. I was able to score a spare tire outside of my original purchase, I just didn't get a jack and jacking puck/pad.
In regards to seat covers, I'm pretty picky in that department. I stopped adding them long again just cause I never really found any that covered well and looked good without looking like a seat cover.
@@evlander sweet where did you track down a spare tire? I was thinking about getting seat covers but seat covers never really look good. My Silverado has canvas seats and got stains the first time I ate in the truck so I got seat covers now but wasn’t sure if the rivian vegan leather would need seat covers. I should take delivery in Oct or Nov
Nothing that has left me stranded or cause me to tow to service. My VIN is in the 200s so my issues are unique and have been addressed already in factory.
One way to temporarily turn off the screen is to do a soft reset by holding down the left outer button and the right outer bottom on the steering wheel at the same time
Yes, That will work too for a period of time. There is another reset that take a little longer because it involves multiple modules. But Night mode was good enough for me.
That magnet trick is legit - nice work!
Thanks!
Nice mod on the Jack Pads
Brilliant idea with the magnets

That’s good business practice to exchange for the new design.
@@evlander It turns out the O rings don't work very well. They're going to send me thicker rings to see if that works better.

Yes! I saw that. I bought too soon. Let me know if you want me to review any more of your products.
@@evlander certainly - shoot us an email and ask for Brian!
Great video. You’re a smart dude.
I appreciate the kind words

Good ideas! Thanks for sharing the tips. Are the touch screens prone to getting scratched without the protective film?
No… just the finger prints.

I’ve seen what the service center uses. It’s about $500 for the set and it’s made by Snap-on tools.
@@evlander The sturdier set may be worth it with these heavy vehicles. I’m interested in the Pro Eagle jack also.
Do have a link for the magnets? Thanks for sharing.
Rubber trunk mat > trunk organizer
Bag clips are also nice.
Didn't think of that. I'll have to keep an eye out for one
Thanks! Does the magnet trick work if you don’t have an underbody shield?
Yes, as the lift location is on the steel frame.

I’m sure the price will come down as more supplies try to fill the aftermarket segment.
What do you do in lieu of not buying a spare tire? What you think about seat covers?

Why don’t you make your own camp kitchen?

Great! How about an iPhone holder ?
Mine lives on the charging pad
But I’ll keep an eye out for one for sure. Maybe I’ll look to see what my co-workers are using for their R1T
Nice Intro
Just gotta work on the audio for the videos. Other than that, these are great. Keep 'em comin'!
