I have one and it is not a good vehicle. If you want a truck, buy a truck. If you want a unique EV and like the look.. buy it. It fails miserably as a truck.
@@brandenflasch 1) bed is tool small and the spare tire door catches a lot of small dirt, etc. 2) bed cover not provided as it was breaking too much, which has major impact on highway driving / battery (no real after market choices) 3) towing is good but battery life is totally unpredictable 4) minor body damage, which you might expect from off road leads to major headache for repair (check out the rear quarter panels and roof) 5) bumpers are for cars, not trucks and 6) safety features are a pain when you are working/in and out of the truck. I could go on and maybe should make a video. Also, service and customer care are seriously declining. To tow a race car 400 miles with the current network in the NE of the US, it will take me nearly twice as long versus ICE vehicle or hybrid.
I have two of those insta crate in my Model Y. Very handy. Folds away when not in use. The second I saw it in your frunk, I’m like great minds think alike 😊
I love that 303 stuff. I’ve been using it for years. I should probably be a rep for them because I tell people about all the time I like their tire version for the tires.
Great videos. I’d like to see a little bit more empathy toward those that were denied the power under the dash, in the frunk, and also only one magnet for the little floor thing in the frunk. I’d also love to see videos (unless you already have them and I missed it) of how you installed the radar detector and iDevice mounts.
Thanks Branden, helpful info - one Q - having a tough time keeping the exterior plastic trim looking new - it doesn't seem to absorb Armorall type products and has developed a sort of milky staining ... Does that 303 protectant restore / retain an more even black finish (as if new)?

So, you've successfully charged by using the Tesla extension cable and the Lectron J1772 adapter in series? I asked Lectron if this would work, and they said not to run the extension cable and adapter together as their electronics might be damaged. Didn't make sense, but I didn't want to take the risk.
@@brandenflasch Awesome. Just ordered the J1772 extension since it's available in 40ft for less than the 20ft Tesla cable, and I will try Tesla HPWC to Lectron J1772 adapter to Lectron J1772 40ft cable to my Rivian R1S once the cable arrives. Lectron has a 30-day no questions asked return policy which makes this easy to try.
Hey Branden, you say here you did a video comparing floor mats. I did a search and can't find it. Can you share a link here so i can get to it when you have a chance please. I need to get RIVIAN mats to replace the OC chilewich mats.
Did you take the arm off the Spigen phone mount? The one that raises it a bit over the steering wheel. I seem to remember that in one of your previous videos. Overall, how is the mounting solution doing?
@@brandenflasch Good to know. I am likely taking delivery of my R1S in the next couple weeks and trying to get stuff like this ahead of time. I saw the RAM double socket arm mount and wondered if it wouldn’t be better to get the bigger 1” ball mount to use with that, with the Spigen on the other end. Could be more stable, but who knows. Just trying to eliminate as much trial and error as possible.
@@brandenflasch Yeah, I think you’re right. I’m going to have to accept some degree of wiggle. I’ll give it a shot and see if it’s doable without the RAM mount. Then, I’ll tweak it as necessary from there. Thanks!

That Blue and White looks great!
Rivian is one of the most badass car available

Brandon, great video. Unfortunately, the discount code doesn't seem to work for the 3D frunk mat.

I recently took it off since with a heavier phone it was tilting with acceleration
