i feel like the cops of NY just have the most amount of "Fuck that." energy i've ever seen, like at 19 minutes when you were blocked in, and managed to get out, cop turned off his lights and was like, "well maybe nevermind." with this reasoning i feel like it's exceptionally easy to get away from the police there not by necessarily out running them, but out driving them, if you're capable of weaving through the endless traffic like this guy, i think you'll be okay in most scenarios, cause they just seem to give up really easily.
they must have anti-pursuit policies, its common in a lot of PDs. These cops didnt even chase them. I've been in crazier chases in california, even though they have a 'no-pursuit policy'.
In NYC the cops don't really pursue it seems. But in a way yes. The other night it was 3am and i was going 80 in a 55, and this dude was catching up to me and i was like oh boy and they pull up right next to me and it's a cop. I've passed multiple cops going 80 and been like oh crap, but like everybody goes 80. I think you gotta be going REALLY fast unless they are bored or trying to meet that quota. Besides that, it's obvious these people have warrants out for their arrest. It's not long before a whole swat team shows up to where they're staying.
They still need direct proof it was him driving, even if they have all these videos as evidence. It’s gonna be hard as hell to prove with a decent lawyer. Plus they won’t even try to convict him by the time they get uploaded probs
