Imo the officer involved shouldve called off the chase a long time ago especially with the amount of traffic and near misses they we’re witnessing but of course the ego of cops be too high to do so.

He is driving in such a way where he can run over someone not only because of losing control of the vehicle or lack of skill, but because of the roads he is speeding in are not designed for those speeds to be safe. At 4:28 a person could've walked to cross the street and there nothing the driver can do but hit them. Every time the driver is running a red light with high speed theyre risking others safety just to get away.

It seemed more safe to pit maneuver than to chase. However I've seen and understand that people including very experienced officers do not understand how pit maneuvers work, so allowing pit maneuvers will cause even more damage. There was an officer who had every chance to pit a guy, then he pits him at like 40+ mph over a crest on a 2 lane road with oncoming traffic without being able to see and the guy flies into someones backyard and rolls several times. People in the comments were praising the officer for the most stupid, unnecessary, risky and unjustifiable pit maneuver I've ever seen.

But in most situations if a driver wants to run through an area like this, chasing will pressure them to make a mistake that could kill someone. I'd say 80% of the time it's not worth chasing unless the person running is in a slower car.

1) The officer put 100x lives at risk over 1 citizen who initially made a traffic violation. EGO TRIP
2) The suspect also put many people at risk
3) This was one of the craziest car chases I've ever seen.

Cops need to learn to take a loss so that an innocent bystander doesnt do it for them.
