If they smashed into a car while blowing through a red light with no emergency lights on chasing BriQ then the department would be held liable in court and probably forced to pay out a huge taxpayer settlement to the kids of the single mother coming home from her night shift he boomed. The released dashcam would be on Inside Edition and everyone would lambast the cop for basically illegally racing with the "speeding vehicle"
