David Hidalgo Fernández the Basque Country (País Vasco) is a Spanish region, you’re talking about something else which is the Basque cultural area but there is no political entity including both, “País Vasco” is a political entity inside Spain.
You have pintxos in Madrid, tapas, and good variety of good restaurants, not take away, proper Restaurants. Also the food in the south of Spain is very good.

Such a great video!! I have never been to Madrid, but I was in Barcelona last year and it was phenomenal. You are so correct when you said "they work to live", it truly is just so different from the states here where people are all about their careers. That's cool.. We had International housing (S.F. area) .. That was ppl would stay with us while traveling.. & We would stay with them in their country.. I was in Mediterranean.. some time ago an it was like what your sayin.. I did have to hav diluted vinegar spray bottle (bugs ...) to not get bites... Thought I tell you becuz your not afraid to travel.. & (your whole family .. ) Also I went to several homes in Mediterranean... an it was some time ago but American visitors had a great time

Hey @kimmyonaquest I was considering going to Barcelona or Madrid with TEFL Academy and saw your “why I chose not to live in Spain” and it freaked me out. Was there another program you could of gone with instead of the program you did? Maybe one that paid you more? Idk I have nerves.

All of Northern Spain is wonderful. Loved Galicia (pulpo, Tarta de Santiago)! Asturias, Cantabria, Pais Vasco.
