Am I the only one that hasn’t forgiven hornady for all of their shenanigans during the plandemic?
@@broncstomper111 What were they doing during the plandemic???
As long as they don't say something in high school a grown moron can claim they can actually even do a threat
18 -20 yr olds are considered adults and should be treated as such… they can vote, serve in the military, get married, there is nothing in the Constitution that says they can’t have firearms for legal use…..
Question Number 3 to ask your Candidates Before Voting YES? 1. Is Do You Own A Gun? 2. Do You Have a Carry Permit or Carry It! Make American Great Again!

The only constitutional right that states SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Is the most infringed upon.
Marxist Communist Hate Freedom!
Old enough to serve in the military, old enough to carry and possess a firearm
And to buy a beer, I'm not in favor of drinking alcohol, but I'm even more against the government preventing legal adults from having it!
@@Isaac_5.56x45 I used to buy younger soldiers beer years back. Long as they weren’t going to be driving. Some duty stations like Japan, the drinking age was 19 for military. Good times
@Isaac_5.56x45
Yep, when I was in basic, back in '67, the drinking age in that state was 21. My first drink in 3 months was on the plane flying home on leave. But I was old enough to have the chance to have my butt shot off. Yay.
Agreed
It Is That Simple!
18 year old citizens are full citizens and should be treated as such. To include drinking alcohol and using tobacco; and for damn sure defending themselves and protecting this nation for threats foreign and domestic.

18 Drink NO

@@thepatriotsrock2
Why should anyone old enough to die for their country be able to join the military but not drink.
It’s total bull 💩 that you can’t own a pistol at 18 but yet you can go into the military and shoot the fun stuff like machine guns, fire rocket launcher, throw grenades, and drive a tank or even fly a helicopter or jet.
These morons need to pull their heads out of their anus.
If you have an issue with them you go and fight for our country. You’re no better than anyone else.
Those who think 18-20 year old adults shouldn’t be allowed to carry guns should be made to apologize to every veteran who was 18-20 who died to preserve the rights to keep and bear arms.
Thomas Young was only sixteen when he joined the Little River Regiment, intent on avenging the death of his brother at the hands of the infamous Tory, Bloody Bill Cunningham. By the time he was seventeen he had risen to the rank of Major. Thomas fought in several battles and skirmishes, including Kings Mountain and Cowpens. His is one of the most interesting and detailed memoirs written by a backcountry Patriot during the Revolutionary war.
The youngest member of my family to serve was 14.
Or Take their Place!
I do agree with you on that one
I agree that 18-20 year olds have the right to be issued a Carry Permit! They start driving cars at 15.5 years old. They are legal to vote and serve our Nation at 18 years of age. This is our Duty to help this happen. 🇺🇸
The Constitution is Our License to Carry
Amen

The Constitution means nothing to politicians and law enforcement.
Once you turn 18, you should be able to smoke, drink, own guns, etc. You can buy a house and take on debt at 18, why can’t you do the rest?
Because government acts as our nanny.
You can , Mr. Government just likes to illegally tell us we cant
They can’t even smoke at 18 anymore

Gun safety course in public school is the way to increase responsible firearm handling, and decrease firearm fear. Well said.
Agree!
Make gun safety and training required for all to pass to graduate , we would have better students prepared for life .
When I was going into the Army, the DPS dad of a girl I used to date gave me a beer (I was 17 and the drinking age then was 18). I balked and he said, "If you're old enough to carry a rifle and die for this country; you're old enough to drink beer." The same applies here, if you're old enough to serve, vote, contract and marry; the second amendment applies to you.
It was funny that our "Constitutional Carry" in Texas was found unconstitutional on this issue and the AG was like, "Meh, you're right."
I'm glad Pennsylvania was ORDERED to make this change. The 2nd Amendment is NOT studied enough, and studying it IN DETAIL should be a REQUIREMENT to graduate HIGH SCHOOL. It's THAT vital to modern society.
Studying the Constitution should be a requirement for all prospective politicians that and emphasize the fact that they work for us and not the other way around.

FPC and Trump judge Mark Pittman are the reason that I was legally able to start carrying (permitless or acquire an LTC) a handgun here in Texas last year when the lawsuit finally succeeded when I was 19.
Been carrying ever since.
Awesome!
Same here I live in Texas and I started to carry right away I was 18, And then I got my license about a year later.
@@leeshoots838 Great 😎
Seems like not very many people our age have an interest in carrying or even know about the FPC vs McCraw lawsuit.
I started carrying in winter early last year as soon as the lawsuit wrapped up, and at first I was planning to eventually get an LTC but decided not to.
It certainly offers some good perks though.
The only 46.03 places I’ve come across are hospitals, some Dr offices affiliated with hospitals, my grandmas memory care facility, and the worst ones are the random restaurants that are 51% locations.
I don’t pay much attention to the 30.05, 30.06 signs 😉.
The other thing that threw me off at first was federal school zone laws. That’s the main reason I almost got a permit.
My church is Nextdoor to a school, and I thought it was against federal law to carry at church since it was within 1,000 ft of a school, but that only applies to public property such as a sidewalk and street.
With an LTC I could go on sidewalks, streets, and school property as long as you don’t go inside.
State law only restricts armed folks from coming onto school property without a permit, and of course no armed citizens are allowed inside the building.
You complied with an infringement 😂
@@leeshoots838hahahaahaha you complied
Excellent! If you’re old enough to join the military at 18 you should be able to cary firearms!
17
Definitely
At the time the 2a was written and submitted before government acknowledging THE RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE, and BARRING government infringements on these RIGHTS, there were recognized, enlisted soldiers as young as 14 years old.
BINGO! Knowing REAL History Pays Off! You Can Not be Infringed is You Know History!
Somewhere in a secret bunker .... tim kennedy is crying 😂
Good.
We can only hope so
I had an awesome teacher years back who ended up getting fired for having the opinion that if youre old enough to fight a war, youre old enough to have a gun and drink a beer at that age. Not at the same time, to be clear.
I joined the military at 17. My parents signed for me to join on my 17th bday. I went to boot camp and artillery school at age 17. I was able as a soldier at 17 to possibly be deployed and to fight if necessary at 17. But today, at 17, 18, 19, 20, one could die fighting in war but not be able to carry a firearm to defend oneself? Cmon man!
If you able to serve in the us military than you can carry “no other requirement required”
If you are a legal adult not incarcerated as a felon, you can carry. The 2nd Amendment is your carry license.
There were younger men who fought to form this country. This wussification of our country needs to stop.
18 you can join military, vote. No more questions... it's everyone's god given right
Some of my favorite letters, GOA, FPC, SAF and F.J.B.
I enlisted 4 days after I turned 18 yo. My oldest grandson is 16, at 18 yo he will be a ADULT! Yes 18-20 yo should be able to enjoy the full 2A rights. 18-20 yo are still part of the unorganized militias. Second Militia Act of 1792, included 18-20 yo to show up for muster with their OWN arms and ammunition. Historical tradition of this country supports that.
It's not morally right to tell ANYONE that if faced with a life or Death situation they CANNOT DEFEND THEMSELVES and must sit there and take it !!!!!!!!!
Problem is that these things seem to never be settled.
If they lose today they're back tomorrow with the same thing just worded a bit different and here we go again.
Looking at the other comments, I 💯 percent agree. If you are old enough to vote and be in the military, then you are old enough to own and carry a firearm for self defense.
Old enough to vote, old enough to serve in the military, die in a war for oil and, register for the draft....old enough to carry a firearm.
I owe a big thank you to FPC they won this same victory for me in Texas I was 18 then and I started to carry right away. But it did take a little while for our state to let me apply for my license and even longer for local instructors to let me take there classes. I finally got my license a year later. So please support people like FPC that are fighting for your rights.
Frankly, those under 18 should be legally able to posses arms if their parents say yes. 10-17 year old girls are common trafficking victims who never have a real way to defend themselves
That's awesome. If they are old enough to serve in the Military they are old enough to process and carry. Besides the Constitution doesn't Ban them.
I have kept my firearms since the age of 7 in 1966.
Knighthood. - As far back as our oldest traditions reach there existed in Ireland an institution of knight-hood. The Red Branch Knights have already been mentioned: and it appears that admission to their ranks was attended with much formality. It was usual to knight boys at an early age, commonly at seven years. This was the age, according to the statement of Tigernach - and also of the Tales - at which the young hero Cuculainn was admitted: and his example as to age was often followed in subsequent times. The young candidate was given a number of little spears suitable to his age and strength, which he hurled against a shield; and the more spears he broke the more credit he received. These are the native Irish accounts; and they are strikingly corroborated by Froissart, who tells us that the same custom still existed in Ireland when King Richard II visited this country in 1494.This historian moreover states that the custom of knighting boys at seven, with ceremonies like those of the Irish, also existed among the Anglo-Saxon kings. But in Ireland the rule of the seven years was not universally, or even generally, followed - except perhaps in case of the sons of kings or great nobles. The ceremony was commonly put off till the candidate was able to fight.
The usual Irish words for a knight are curad [curra] and ridire [riddera], of which the last is the same as the German ritter, and is probably borrowed.
"Assuming knighthood" is commonly expressed in Irish by "taking valour."

Glad to be a member of both organizations to fight and win
I think there should be one "age of majority" for everything, including full 2A rights, nationwide.
I went into the army at 18 and carried an M16A1. If the government thought I was trust worthy enough to carry an M16 at 18, then they should not infringe on a civilian age 18 carrying a gun! When this country was founded an 18 year old was required to show up to muster with his own weapon and ammo.
As a GenX individual who used to park his truck in the NH high school parking lot with a shotgun in the back window at the age of 16 I agree with you!
Personally I feel you should be able to own longguns at 16 and handguns at 18. I remember when I was 18 y/o serving as a Grunt in the military, I was barred from owning a handgun which is ridiculous.
The only thing I am on the fence about is the GenZ and newer population seem to have a lot of mental health issues and while this shouldn’t prevent law abiding citizens from their 2a rights, we do need to get a handle on this issue. But GUN BANs are not the issue, nor will it ever prevent gun related violence!
Additionally, the first Militia Act required 18+ yr olds to report for militia duty bearing their own personally acquired arms!
❤ I grew up in the 60's and had my first BB gun at age 5 and dad also was teaching me gun safety. I started shooting a 22 rifle at age 5 . Dad had one that was shorter stock that he let me use while he was teaching.
I had to hunt rabbits, squirrels, deer, with him from age 5 until 9 years old. After that I was left to hunt on my own.
I have carried a supermadic citation on my side since I was 9 and still have it.
Go fishing and hunting to feed our families.
Had large garden too. We only go to the store for lard , flour, loaf bread, bacon, milk , real butter , coffee etc.
Large loaves of bread were 10 cents and I remember my grandmother told me that bread would be more than a dollar for a loaf one day. I thought she was nuts lol. Now I am paying $1.50 a loaf.
So times change. Like this type of 18-20 year old buying and carrying firearms.
I think nowadays children are not raised the way I was and they do not know what being a adult is. I think that's why people are against 18-20 walking around with firearms.
I know a lot of 18 year old that have a good head on their shoulders and would have no problem with them carrying but I have been around many that I definitely would not feel safe around with a firearm.
I am perfectly fine with them having guns. I've had a gun in my truck since i was 16 driving to and from school with it in the back window. I say go for it. Our nations history actually doesn't give an age limit, our government started that to control us.
If the government can ask an 18 year old to give up their life for their country, then they have the right to do anything including carrying arms, (unfortunately including cigs and alcohol) that adults can do. It must be a hard line, are they an adult or not, once the giving up your life part is invoked. ❤️👍🇺🇲 FAP
I couldn’t agree more with your thinking.
Tennessee really needs to update a bunch of their carry laws. To many fuds. I was hoping that you migjt cover the senate bill in the TN state senate that it trying to get rid of the criminal penalty for anyone who has an enhanced permit from carrying in a place that has a no gun sign other than trespassing if the refuse to leave when asked.
Indiana has this. Posted signs at businesses are mere suggestions unless they ask you to leave.
@USGrant1974 it was the same in Colorado also. So I was shocked when I moved out here. The permit process went a lot faster and the lifetime permit was nice to.
Old enought to serve and protect our country, old enough to have all rights!!!!!
If they can exercise all their other rights at 18 then the 2a applies to them as well
I am 75, drafted in 1968, joined the Navy for 6 years (electronics) instead. Even back then the debate about 18 year old rights/ privileges especially when subject to military draft came up quite a bit. Still has not changed
Honestly every gun owner should be keeping up with this should have millions of followers
Absolutely good news thanks
The 18-20 year olds should definitely be able to own and carry firearms, history and tradition! It’s the American way.
Anyone that has an 18-20 year-old daughter should definitely be behind this ruling!
I'm glad to heár this. I'm in texas, a constitutional carry state. I have a daughter who's 20 now and will be 21 this September. I've wished she could carry as soon as she turned 18 but she has had to go unarmed all this time. It's ridiculous 18 to 20 year olds can vote, etc but can't carry a hand gun, buy alcohol or tobacco in texas. These prohibitions are clear constitutional violations, they are adults legally at 18 but very few would have the means or the inclination to take this to court. In the mid 80s I was cought up in the drinking age being raised to first 19 and later 21. I turned 18 and they changed it to 19 that September, then I turned 19 and a few months later it went to 21. I never considered suing the state and didn't have the resources anyway, just resorted to methods we used before I turned 18. As for starring a gun prior to constitutional carry Texas has the castle doctrine which also said your car or truck was an extension of your home which allowed you to carry in your vehicle. I didn't want a permit because I didn't to be on a "list" for the feds. Same reason I don't buy anything firearms related online or with a card.
It was required 16 and over a rifle and 2 long pistols. It was repealed in 1909.
Amen
Be good fathers and teach them the way. We all will need to defend our land soon
Remember your
ABC
ALWAYS BE CARRYING 👍🏻
The number one rule for self defense.
With Pennsylvania's anti gun governor i would be surprised if the he didn't try to stop this
I love it but it needs to get to SCOTUS to end this very constitutional argument!!!
If you are 18, you are an adult who can vote, drink, smoke, shoot a gun, buy a house or a car, etc.
I was 19 on my first deployment and we were kids with guns leading kids with guns. In my opinion, a moron with a vote is far more dangerous than a moron with a gun.
In Pa here going to take my son 19 to get his permit.
What happened to our country and what happened to our way of thinking when I grew up at the age of four I used to go hunting by myself almost every day this is how we put meat in the freezer so that we could eat when I was in high school almost every boy that went to school had a gun rack in the back of their truck window with a shotgun and a high-powered rifle nobody ever locked the door nobody ever had a gun stolen we were taught how to use a gun and how to be safe with a gun if your talk to be responsible even the age of 18 is a bunch of crap
Like someone else has probably said, “If you’re old enough to join the Military and fight and die for our Country, then you’re old enough to purchase and carry any firearm you wish… Period!”
Not to mention, some of the Founding Fathers, if memory serves, were 21 years of age and less.... James Monroe: 18 yrs, Arron Burr: 20 yrs, Alexander Hamilton: 21 yrs.
Great content, exciting news
It's all about the upbringing. I've had a .22 rifle and shotgun since I was 16 (yeah, that old) and I learned respect for the gun and others. My guns (13 now) have all never even pointed at another person.
SAF and the WVCDL have a win in our case challenging Federal law against 18-20 purchasing a handgun from an FFL. We have provisional permits for 18-20 year olds making them eligible for Campus Carry plus Reciprocity in 16 other states and hopefully will get them added to our Constitutional Carry ranks very soon.
In Idaho, 14 year olds can carry long guns openly with the parents permission. Love Idaho for its Second Amendment rights.
Jared, I have just a couple things to pass on. The first is that you and my late mother share a birthday. She passed in 2006 at the age of 93. One more month and she would have made 94.
Don't feel bad about your birthday; you can't stop them anyway. Just a word of comfort hopefully, at 49 you're still a relatively young man. Enjoy your years, they go fast.
Thanks for all you do for the 2nd Amendment.
Jerrad, I’m going to through you a curve. I am a Vietnam ERA Vet. I spent 5 years in the Marine Corp. When I enlisted, I was just out of the tenth grade, I got my G.E.D. while in the Corp. I do strongly believe that 18- to 20-year-olds have the right to exercise their 2nd amendment rights. Especially if they have served their country in the military. Ready for the curve? I feel that 17-year-olds should be allowed to exercise their 2nd amendment rights as well. You see the U.S. was in the process of drawing out of Vietnam in 1972 when I enlisted into the Marine Corp at the age of 17. At the time all branches required all candidates for enlistment to be 18 and high school graduates, except the Marine Corp. All they required at the time was having reached the age of 17 and both parents’ consent. So, say a 17-year-old enlists makes it through boot camp and then shortly after is discharged through no fault of his own before his 18th birthday he should be able to exercise his 2nd amendment rights too. Should all 17-year-olds be allowed to exercise their 2nd amendment rights as well? Should certain standards or tests be set before 17-year-olds can be allowed to exercise their 2nd amendment rights? That is a topic for another time. At the very least if they have proven military service, then I say yes.
And yet here in Philly they wouldnt even let the ppl know this happened
Good to hear and absolutely correct. 👍🏻
I joined the US Army when I was 18 and was issued all kinds of cool weapons including full auto and even a TANK! So if you’re old enough to serve, etc….then you’re old enough to possess a firearm
You can't vary the age of adulthood based on a particular right. If you're an adult for one, you're an adult for all.
When I was 18 years old, Uncle Sam issued to me an M16A1 with an M203 slung under the barrel and I openly carried it wherever Dear Uncle sent me. I don't see a problem with others of that age doing the same.
Thank You Jared 👍😎👍
That's good news. I hope Washington is a state where they took this on, too. We have very similar laws here as well. 18 thru 20 y/o cannot buy a handgun, although I believe they can possess one. And, we are an open-carry state. But it is unlawful to have a loaded gun, or any gun in a motor vehicle passenger compartment if ammunition for the weapon is also easily accessible in that compartment.
So, ya gotta go to where you want to exercise your Right to open-carry, take the ammo from the passenger area to the trunk where your weapon is, load it, and then commence to open-carry without getting back in the vehicle. Fricken insane...
Thanks Jared
In Texas it’s because of FFLs are Federally not able to transfer a handgun but you can privately transfer a hand gun from individual. You could buy a handgun from a police officer.
No license needed for exercising a right. Nationwide lawsuit needed.
THEY FIGHT THE WARS THEY HAVE THE RIGHT..
Once you are of legal age there should be no restrictions to buy or to carry. I had my first gun at 11 but had been shooting and hunting for years before that. The entire gun control industry is based on $$$ and control.
U are right Jared, thank u
Agree with you Jared

One of the ridiculous rules on open carrying in Pennsylvania is that the City of Philadelphia violates Pennsylvania preemption laws. In Philadelphia, in order to open carry a firearm in public the person must have a concealed carry permit. How much sense does that make? For some reason nobody has complained about this violation of preemption laws and nothing has ever been done about it.
Because Philly is 90% democrat.

Awesome ruling. Love the judge's no nonsense ruling. Absolutely 18-21 yo should not have any restriction as compared to any other adult. That's not just 2A, but should apply to things like alcohol, and tobacco as well.
Either they are an adult or they are not and ingress against their rights, is just a precursor, testing/probing how tolerant people will be about having said rights stripped.
