Behind The Recording Of BE HERE NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whats the story is Oasis best album and one of the best rock albums of all time.
For me it’s a shootout between glory and definitely maybe. Both among the all time best.
Great video. Thanks.
Also, it is amazing how the music critics are so often wrong. Love this album.
Thank you! The critics really did get that so wrong didn't they? I remember hearing a few of the 'What's The Story' songs on the radio before the release and couldn't wait to buy it.
Holy crap, look at the songs they recorded that first week
Your song at the end sounds like a beautifully mixed and mastered Oasis-esk song on its own.
Thank you, that’s very kind of you! 😃
Very cotton mather, love it 😎👌
You absolutely nailed the audio signature of Morning Glory on that track.
I’ve recorded in the same studio in 91 with The Primitives as their bass player 👍
That's great, I remember the Primitives well!😀
Your song sounds awesome. Very cool.
Thank you! 😃
Just want to say thanks so much for your amazing work and Ive learned so much from this and afew of your other videos. Genuinely, it must have taken a serious about of time, the detail is great and again thanks so much. If i was to ever win the lotto il see your channel right! peace brothers and sisters
Thank you! It’s great to know it’s appreciated and useful. 😃
And that's the story, morning glory. Thanks MMO.
Thank you!
Hey great video! Also sick track!
Thank you! 😄
The most beautiful sounding album of all time. I would love an interview n depth look into the recording process of Champagne Supernova. In my opinion the best recording ever.
Another banger, brother! I quite enjoyed your approximation of the limiting trick by way of that great sounding shoe-gaze/dreampop-ish ditty, as well. Cheers!
Cheers! That limiter can get really aggressive and not so ‘soft’when pushed a bit, I wonder how it compares to the hardware.
Great song at end.
Thank you! 😃
Great video and love your track!
Thank you! 😃
Well researched! Thank you for posting.
Came here for the analysis. Stayed for the great song at the end!
Thank you! 😃
your song at the end sounds great
Thank you! 😃
Great vid, good insights, lovely pastiche.
Thank you!🙏
Congrats for ya job! Can't wait to see Behind The Recording of the fourth oasis album, SOTSOG
Cheers! SOTSOG was started just down the road from where I live in France. I always wonder which bars Bonehead got into trouble from Noel drinking in..
Cool. I like your song at the end.
Thank you!
I really dug your original track!
Thank you! 😃
Link to your original stuff please, I agree it's right up my street,
Just stumbled upon this channel. Insta subbed and liked. Really nice storytelling combined with DAW examples!
Thank you! It’s much appreciated 😃
Insightful stuff. Subscribed!
Thank you! 😃
If you ain't already done "Be Here Now" I look forward to seeing it 🙂
I love the sound on thhe album. Its a shame Be Here Now was weighed down by so much overproduction. I hope sone day there's a remix of that one.
Love the little song towards the end...❤
More original material please🙏 really enjoyed that, yes I'm nagging
Thank you! I really appreciate it, definitely more to come now 😃
@@mixingmasteringonlinegood man👌I see you know your onions, put that into yourself, I can't wait to hear it 😎
Love your work mate, very well researched and presented 👍 Keep at it, wishing you well for continued growth of yr channel 🙏
Thank you for the kind words, it’s really appreciated 🙏
'Don't look back in angora, I heard her say'...
I wonder if LG ever knew his vox was going through an auto-tuner? 🤣 Great video, cheers.
Cheers! Good point, probably not I think. Or it was less of thing to be worried about then as most record buyers weren’t as clued up on ‘studio magic’.
Your original music sounds great. The vocals in particular, get a video going on how you got that sound please 🤣
Thank you, that's really kind of you, 🙂 . The Definitely Maybe vid I did goes a bit more into the Oasis style recording looking at the the guitar layering. ruclips.net/video/HzjxISbDAsg/видео.htmlsi=206-3EWTmDeblJnq
Now I dare you to talk about Be Here Now XD
Yeah, took a bit of a turn there didn’t it? I remember buying D’yer know what I mean but then not bothering with the album.
Could you do a video on The wall or Animals by pink floyd?
I’m sure I’ll get round to them at some point, thanks for the suggestions. 👍
Nice video - i liked your song too although it needed someone plodding away relentlessly on barre chords to be oasisy :)
Cheers! 😃
It would have been really interesting to hear your track with and also without the limiter.
You should do Frank Oceans - Blonde
Thanks for the suggestion, it’s a really good one. I’ll definitely be looking into it 👍
@@mixingmasteringonlineyeah also I have a couple of questions about how you go about the research behind an album? I’m doing a presentation and I want to do it about an album.(I have no clue what album yet)
Just searching and searching really. Forums can be a good place to get things that aren’t in articles or videos. Books are a good source as well.
can you do ELTON JOHN PLEASE !GOODBYE YELLOWBRICK ROAD
I’ll put it on the list. Cheers!
@@mixingmasteringonline thanks mate
Surely pushing the peaks down would make it quieter
With a limiter, you're raising the quieter parts up so the average level is louder.
Great job with the recording and use of the limiting "trick." I get why so many wngineers used - and still use - it but it really is fair to say that it just really kills all the dynamics and can fatigue your ears as a listener.
Thank you! I’m not a massive fan of over limiting but I can see why it’s used. I couldn’t imagine Definitely Maybe without it.
“ knackered” is never a term I would imagine being used for oasis. More like “shitfaced”. But in a good way usually.
Very true! Surely far too stimulated to be knackered. ❄️
