Champions for Change, SailGP's high-impact thought leadership program supported by Apex Group Ltd, was hosted at the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix last week - bringing together leaders in sustainability and sport to discuss and share learnings on driving climate action and accelerating inclusion in sport. 🌎
This is one of our first-ever Changemakers sessions hosted by Dr. Shireen Rahimi discussing the important role oceans play in addressing and navigating climate change. 🌊
She said: "We are headed for some very intense and transformational times in our society and the best way we can navigate this change that is coming for us, is to fundamentally transform the ways we structure our economies and our governments to value nature and value life."
