- This is the last of the four vlogs. I wanted to try it for a few days before I commit to uploading a vlog a day, for a week. it might not happen for awhile, but I'm open to the idea and really enjoyed creating these for you.

Thanks, Giselle, for taking the time to make the daily vlogs. I liked them and found myself looking forward to them. But we don't expect that every week. Also, it was good to see how much Kona missed you when you got back home. Always nice to be welcomed by our fur babies.

@@D.N..Do you ever wish you knew for sure that you'd get all your imams promise you in paradise? I died and went to heaven because I had lived in sin and I couldn't shake the idea of dying when I went into the hospital to have my daughter. I can't imagine you suffering in Hell. Hell and Heaven are very real places. There are more people that have died and come back to tell the same things about heaven which these people don't know each other. That's mathematically impossible. That's a supernatural God!

My favorite part from this vlog was seeing how happy Kona was to see you after your being gone for a few days!
Always wear your seatbelt. One never knows when a tire might blow, or another vehicle cause an issue, and the vehicle you're in leave the road and roll, throwing you out. It's the sudden stop that can kill you. I've been to enough rollovers to see what can happen and it's not pretty. Ok, it was good to see Kona. She's always a good sight for sore eyes. Thank you.

Its funny, I volunteer at our local mall at a mission office. Every time I see a hutterite girl come in I always look to see if its you LOL! Silly I know, but its become a habit. Anyway I am longing for snow comes soon to Manitoba! WE NEED WINTER.

Giselle another peaceful vlog and I really enjoyed it. I always use vinegar in my laundry too! White vinegar, and baking soda are how we keep our whites snowy white. We don’t have snow down here in Cincinnati yet so it’s so nice anytime you have video of the snow. Where I’m from an upper Ohio we got a lot of snow and I miss it. God bless you Giselle. ✝️🙏❤️☺️

Hi there Aspen, I hope all is well with you. I live in Australia; may I ask where you live? my Time zone is 15 hours ahead of Giselle's time zone. I am also an anabaptist but of a later time period. We have a much more intensive knowledge of the bible as things change over time especially languages. Many bibles still go with the old and ill-informed translations, even though up to date modern and accurate translations are available. I have another scripture from the bible for you that may help you what the bible is all about. Go to the book of Revelation chapter 21: verses 3 and 4 and see for yourself what is in store for all of us. Go on you can do it. Regards, Doug

I read about the Hutterites after following this channel. Now I am curious which country works best for this lifestyle - Canada or USA? And whether there are any plans to establish presence in Europe, Russia, Australia etc. I'm a fan of the Hutterites. 😊

Vinegar erodes the plastic pieces in a washer machine overtime. My great grandmother was a Hutterite. My maternal haplogroup is a Hutterite haplogroup. I'm fascinated by it and the Hutterite culture and history.

Traditionally, Baileys Irish Cream is Cream, cocoa and whiskey so if it’s labeled non alcoholic it’s just the cream and the cocoa. Personally I don’t care much for alcohol and prefer the non-alcoholic versions of just about anything.

Giselle, how beautiful that snowy landscape! And I realise that the way you hutterites live, without all the -in fact crazy- luxuries of modern society, is why there still exists such a nature. What you show us how you live in your colony is also a mirror we can look into. We threaten Gods creation -earth- with how we live. And that craving for more more more, ruins the planet and does'nt make us happier at all. So Giselle, keep on filming your life!! we do'nt have to copy your lifestyle, but we certainly can learn some truths about what a 'good life' supposed to be. Thank you for this video'. 🍀💚

Sorry Giselle i forgot about you had a bad fall been in bed. But i did read a great hutterite book a lot older than your colony. But it was really good enjoyed it thoroughly. Have you ever thought about writing a book i don't know if you're allowed to read they books it's about 20 years i think. But nothing bad about the hutterites. I have two copies .who is looking after kona i love that dog so much and that song one of my favourites
The book is called my hutterite life by Lisa Marie Stanl it is so interesting she was quite young and she started writing a newspaper column. And basically she tells the same stuff you tell us it must be about 20 years ago but after five years she got married and moved to her husband's colony in Canada. Though I was in pain I really enjoyed that book. I'm a fast reader I'm halfway through my second one, not that keen on this one. Glad your mum is home hope she had a nice break.

I speak hochdeutsch, which is the standard German spoken in Germany in modern days. It differs a lot, it sounds to me almost like a dialect from German, but still I can understand her when she speaks it. Maybe I could give the example that this sounds like the difference between Portuguese and Spanish. Very similar, but different, yet both are from the same linguistic family.

Giselle, me and my three daughters watch your videos together. We go into our savings room to watch the videos. We are thinking about making RUclips videos show how we live as Mennonites and Amish. Hard to raise four kids as a Mennonite and Amish so me and my three daughters wear Mennonite dresses and my husband and son wear Amish clothing. I am helping my oldest daughter make new Mennonite dresses and I have to make my son more Amish pants and shirts.
I have a few questions. In case you have a q&a planned soon. Do the men also have jobs that rotate like you ladies do? Are vehicles community owned and who pays for them? Must married couples be open to bearing children or can they remain childless by choice?
do you own your own cars or are they owned by the colony? and when you travel who pays?

Giselle I asked before another hutterite. I am mennonite. They said they don't let outsiders join. Is that firm in every colony ? And why ?
How does your community deal with lazy members or those that don't do their share of the work?
You show that your hutterite community builds fire trucks . Does your hutterite community have its only fire department and firefighters in your hutterite community? I'm a Mennonite and a firefighter paramedic. As a Mennonite we can have jobs and we don't have a Mennonite community we have our own Mennonite farms. My Amish husband comes from the Amish community and we can't have an outside job. We were a Mennonite and Amish camp where we learned out the Bible and Bible study and learned how to take care of the mennonite farm and farm animals and my Amish husband learned how to work and take care of the Amish farm and farm animals. We started talking two days later and we started dating three weeks later. When Mennonite starts to date we have to take our older brother or older sister with us out on the date when we go out. Some with the Amish too. My Amish husband is the oldest in his family he is the oldest boy. We dated five months before we got married. He had to ask my dad and my five brothers for my hand in marriage and he had to go to the oldest Amish church members to see if he could get married to a Mennonite. Amish and his Amish parents told him yes he can marry me long when we go visit his family we have to wear Amish clothing.

Just curious, since Kona is mostly an outdoor dog, does she have a dog house, or just wander wherever when she wants to get out of the snow or rain.... under your porch or something, and do you ask someone to keep track of her when you go away, or does she just know to go somewhere to get her food and such, just wondering , as she's always with you, I was just curious. I think kona sleeps inside in the porch when Giselle goes out in the morning kona is always lying there plus has she not got brother's. I think she's a family dog but we all know she's Giselles she's one beautiful dog I'm sure I'm right if not Giselle will tell you.
