  • Flight simulation video series of MSFS2020 on my very old computer. With the wonderful Piston Grand Duke by Black Square.
This is the second leg of my western tour. The approach to KTRK between mountains is quite hazardous.
Inexperienced passenger point of view and his thoughts.
    * Livery of TimmHH modified by me.

Fun video mate, well done 👍
That “sound” was the altitude horn. Warning you, that you are approaching the set altitude on the mcp.
The more the flaps are extended, the more power you will need to counteract the increased drag. Thus more engine volume.

Before all, many thanks for your coment. This video is a sort of joke. Well, I'm the pilot, of course I know what this sound is. Will tell that to my passengers ;-) Note: The full RPM are for an eventual go around not about the flaps (the manifold pressure that controls the power was unchanged). I'm pilot IRL.

I should have known about the full rpm indeed. You are right ofcourse😉👍
I fly the dukes too 😄

Answering your question: Now I have 80 years, due to my health since many years I can't fly. Used to fly C152, C172 (mainly), C182, PA 38 (occasionally on the airclub). More recently gliders, 15 years ago. I never flown twins and never was IFR certified. Fortunately with the MSFS 2020 I can still fly on the virtual world (and on my mind).
Glad you also like the Duke, she is a trully awesome airplane.

      @@VirtualAviatorVet you are 80 years?
Wow. Becoming a pilot is still one of my dreams, but the steep financial hurdle is holding me back.
I am so glad we have this simulator. Its truly amazing.
