Their empathy when dealing with these people is just heartwarming. I particularly loved Doug and his tale, I hope these people all find relief and peace from such a difficult time in their lives!
These 2 teams of women are life savers. Literally. There are so many people who are afraid or embarrassed to reach out for help. My heart aches for them. And thank the heavens for these cleaners.
When I saw the first few frames of the video, I knew that someone was dealing with severe depression. And my heart goes out to them. I have severe depression also, and they adjusted my medication and added a new one. I feel like a new person... Sweetheart, I'm sending you hugs from Texas and prayers
My hat is off to sisters, Yvonne and Angela. They are real troopers when it came to cleaning the older woman’s home. That was the worst they had seen ever, and yet, they turned it into a welcoming, clean space for her to come home to. Absolutely astonishing.
In The US there's a channel called Midwest Magic Cleaners. The Man who helps clean has a slight form of ADD, but he's a trooper. The Houses are much older from the 1960's and the folks who live there are older folks who are lonely, depressed and have nobody to come visit. Their children are sometimes beyond fed up, I wonder if any of them also had addiction problems. I think you have to have a solid strong mindset to do a job like this. 😊
I saw a Book by one of my favorite US Authors April Sinclair. I am so happy seeing Books by African American Authors enjoyed by UK folks. I also love the work of Mike Gayle.
I just adore Maxim and Jasmine…..❤ Mom’s laugh is so contagious! They way she always kisses her daughter is genuine true love….May God Bless these 2 beautiful souls🙏🏼🍀👋🏼🇨🇦
Yvonne and Angela are amazing. The poor lady had not been in the bedroom since her husband died 9 years previously, I do wonder where all the dirt came from. If nobody had been in the room how did it get damp and mouldy?
Probably from a lack of circulation with the door being kept closed & the furnace system likely blocked. It’s very rainy in the UK, and then when you get a heat wave, that damp, hot bubble is a perfect breeding ground for mold.
I cannot see how anyone could live in that flat that the old lady lives in, with all that black mold and dampness, it could make you really sick or kill you
They had to have done mold remediation and not just clean. Those spores will still be in the air and make whoever goes in there sick. There are people living in these conditions everywhere. Mental health services are desperately needed everywhere.
Spores don't release unless there's been colonization and the humidity is right. They should treat it but unless they fix the ventilation and damp it will just come back. Mold spores are everywhere.
Tons of mold spores going in your lungs every step you take. Why do they have masks yet go into the most befoul places without actually having them on...
Wow, I'm gobsmacked. If I found out my neighbor lives or lived like this, I'd be so pissed off. This is why the landlord needs to inspect the property's more. I have a feeling one of my neighbors is having issues and I wonder.
Things like these accumulated over a long period of time, and the behavioural patterns will take a long time to fully reverse, and 'install' new ones. It is possible to get back to health, but the chance of success is much greater with high determination, and help from your surroundings. :) Often, the most important thing is to understand why it is happening - the underlying cause. Wether it is an emotional, physical or energy issue. Is it decision fatigue, having a low cleaning skill/never learned how, is it finding a better suited organizing style, and so on. Things like these are never just 'laziness', and the solution is never to 'just pull yourself together'. I think it will be normal to go back and forth for a while, until they get a grasp on things, while they are still healing. But eventually (if they keep at it), it will be less and less extreme, and the good periods lasts longer.
Having to see them cry after finding out that the bedroom was abandoned after the husband passed really got me. Working for the coroners (collecting people passed on in bad circumstances) with my brother... we have the same outlook - If WE DONT CARE - WHO WILL? I love the empathy, effort and endurance of these beautiful people🥰
The Yvonne and Angela segment: That place needs to be condemned! She doesn't seem able to care for herself and should probably go to a place where she can be looked after. It is just heartbreaking...
Mums and Dads please make your kids clean their rooms and help a little bit around the house eg dishes, wiping bench tops, vacuuming etc it will stay with them into adulthood. Pay them a little pocket money and it will cultivate their work ethic.
There is always a reason. The people in these situations always feel a great deal of shame and pain in the first place; just asking for help is a big deal because they are already deeply ashamed, and fear the people they reach out to will judge them. Just like you are judging them now. Shaming people for being down will only make them worse. You need to understand the reason, in order to know how to fix it permanently.

@@laminage Yes, he has autism. I’ve watched his channel a number of times, however, I’m not a fan.

These sweet people are true helpers. I hope both of their clients have an improved quality of life.❤
This was a great episode. I appreciated all the different cleaners speaking with such compassion and understanding

I love seeing videos like this so much not only due to the empathy but also to transformations of the homes.
❤️❤️❤️ It’s not just cleaning, it’s CARING ❤️❤️❤️
I love when Dirk said, "You've made me feel welcome in my own home."
This was beautiful ❤️

God bless these special people ❤
All those cleaners are wonderful people with such big hearts ❤
Would really like to see a follow-up show with these folks.
There's just no amount of money that cld get me to clean that horrendous place! Those poor animals living in that hell!
They are angels from heaven!
How to win at housework 😂xlove it.

The sisters need an award after that clean, absolute amazing.
14:50 I'm so glad I picked **now** to have an iced coffee 🤢

Assisted living for this old lady!
OPEN THE WINDOWS!!!
OPEN THE WINDOWS!!!
OPEN THE WINDOWS!!!
❤🎉
Deus abençoe vocês!!!❤
Those sisters are saints. Wow.
I can't understand how they wouldn't renovate the flat instead of just scrubbing it down. There must be mold still in the walls and floors.
Wonder how it got so WET?
Thank you for what you do. xx
How long does it take for it to get hoarded back out again? In America a lot of people from the tv show Hoarders ended up back in bad shape again. 🥺
Hoarding is a psychological illness caused by extreme trauma.

If I was them I certainly would be wearing masks and why would a mold specialist not come in, it is probably in the walls
I love British way of caring for things 🤣
They are charming 😊

I just love the accent... I am here for the cleaning and the accent
It would be nice if people would seek some kind of help B efore their places get this bad.
Maxine could have her own show! And it would be a fantastic show!!
I like the video trophies 🎉
And you KNOW cleaners will have to or be coming back.

Wow love in action
There's no excuse for this level of filth. Sad and disgusting.

put the useful stuff on the curb and post a Craigslist Free Stuff ad!
How can water leak for so long, yet someone can move in that quickly?
Why not just move to a new flat and start new memories?
…and yet they’re wearing their N95 respirators as chin straps.
❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hoarder and gay? Dear God have mercy.
Doug was so sweet and deserving
We love this show in Minnesota!
These people need to be checked on after, especially the elderly. Bet most of them go back to their own ways
