I have these and used them for about a year. They were amazing and the battery life is unmatched. I now have the Devialet Gemini’s and these headphones aren’t far behind it!
@@HouseMusicAllNightLong That's like saying a Lamborghini Aventador is a budget car because you could buy a Bugatti Veyron which is much more expensive. I don't know about the Sony headphones you mentioned, but you can pick up a pair of Sony in ear 'phones' which have some of the best ANC going for half the price.
ANC will always be more expensive, that's the thing. This price is budget friendly for a brand new wireless ANC headset, considering what they normally cost.
just bought them in a rush becuase my headphones got stolen right before my flight and they are by far the worst headphones i have ever had and that says alot judging by the fact these are also the most expensive ones ive ever had... anc is horrible, i hear a buzzing sound all the time and the background voices are muffled but loud and even more noticeable when using anc than not. the volume of the headphones is low as well, ive never had to crank my volume to max in order to not hear my co workers. and even on max i still hear them. horrible horrible horrible waste of money wish i had the time to view this video before i bought them.
I found it annoying at first when I started using them, they would pause and I think that was indeed the sensor picking up movement and registered that as the headphones being removed.
I got mine today and can't get the bluetooth working at all. I've been at it all day. Messaged the support service and followed all instructions hahah they so comfy I want them to work!
Im curious why anyone looking to purchase a pair ANC headphones when the ANC "doesn't really work"?! Wouldn't someone want the best (within the price range)? Just get the Sennheisers he mentioned for $10 more and have superior sound, ANC, apxt, app....I suppose peeps like to impress with the red but saying " i have red 'urbanistas'" or "purple Beats" vs "i have Sennheisers" is no comparison.
The primary reason I wanna buy some headphones is for listening to music while traveling and the noise cancelling while studying. I am wondering how good the noise cancelling works on the urbanistas...
I bought these exact same headphones about a month ago and I have to say I really like its noise cancelling feature! It cuts out almost everything with the only exception being human voices, which are dampened by the noise cancelling can still be heard if its just 2 people having a conversation for example. I personally don't mind this but i can see it being bothersome if you don't want any noise at all. Hope this helps!
@@BigBugBiggieBughey just wondering how do they feel on a head because i want to buy them and they seem kind of big so i don't know if i should buy them or try to find some "better" headphones?

How do I change the ear pads? I've had mine about 2 months. They're not bad. Not my favorite but very nice! So ya how can I replace the ear pads. I can't seem to find any replacement pads?
Hey thanks for the great recommendation! I'm looking to get headphones for the korg sv2. It's an electric piano/rhodes. Can someone please recommend me a pair that won't leak noise but that still feel very airy when listening to them? So basically closed back that are as close to open back headphones.. I want a natural sound but not too flat that I don't enjoy playing the piano.. I've heard some headphones have an issue with "string residence" sound. Any recommendations for headphones under $200 ?
Are they? I was quite ready to get a pair, but I noticed they only support SBC and AAC. No aptx which is a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, I'd have a pair on order right now. I'll turn my attention to the 450BT, see what Sennheiser has to offer.
What?? $129 is 'BUDGET'?? I guess you are in the UK & not America, where that's far too rich for those of us expected to live on the pittance the US govt expects sick & disabled ppl to live on. But I've been struggling, ever since I tragically had to return the astonishingly good SteelSeries Arctis 1 Cyberpunk headphones (only $100 when I got them on Amazon) because they were too expensive for me to afford to keep, to find anything near that quality & convenience for any lower a price. I believe, after months of research & trial & error (thanks to Amazon's return policy) I should have kept the Cyberpunk headset. I am having a very hard time finding anything comparable for less than $100. Now, they are sold out & going for $180+ on ebay... 💔🎧💸😞
I've just said the same. The 'average' income in the US is higher than the UK equivalent, so they are even less 'budget' over here. If he thinks they are 'budget', he's obviously doing even better than I already thought he was.
@@jaysmith2858 I mean, compared to Apple's insane prices on their absurd looking headphones, anything under half that could be a 'budget'. But there's a reason phone companies are doing so well selling tens of millions of phones for the same price as those headphones! The vast majority of the human race is in poverty at this point...🤦
@@BernicePanders Yep. I bought a Poco X3 NFC not long ago for that exact reason. Why spend £1k/$1k on a phone when you can get a phone for a fifth of the cost that does most things reasonably well? However there are a lot of people around who at best have more money than they know what to do with, and at worst more money than sense. So things like Apple's Airpods will always sell in large numbers. It's just that people like me (possibly us?) who are sick, disabled, and/or on a low income won't be adding to those numbers.
@@jaysmith2858 Lucky! The only option I have (trying to replace my broken LG Stylo 4, prefer never to use LG again) is to take the prepaid Samsung or get an older model S9/10 to use. The purple S9+ was my dream flagship, before I started looking at & wanting more mid-range or budget phones...
@@BernicePanders Is there no other prepaid service you can switch to? If not, an emulation channel called "ETA Prime" just did a review on an $80 (I think) Boost phone, which he seems to think is very good for the price so that might be worth checking out. So I'm also in the 'not going anywhere near an LG phone again' club.
"budget friendly" IS NOT $100+. Budget Friendly is $15-$30. I'm tired of these companies feeding people bullshit. Idc about comparing these to overpriced headphones that are priced insanely high for absolutely no reason.

*FINALLY* a review!
I've been waiting for months!!
Personally, I want to know how they stack up against premium headsets as well.
Thank you for an excellent review. I know now that it's not for me, I need better ANC. So thanks for clearing that up! :)
Honestly mate. Your review videos are brilliant. Fast snappy straight to the point. Rarely I sub but u definitely deserve one
Skullcandy Hesh ANC is best inexpensive ANC out there IMO
Im so glad that you mentioned that the engineer was an ex-sennhieser team member as I have used that brand for years. Will give these a try!
Since when has £129 for a pair of headphones (ANC or not) put them into the 'budget' category?
Well considering Apple's new headphones cost £500 these are definitely more budget friendly. Even Sony's ANC headphones are £300+
