Please tell me what would have happened if a world class gold deposit was discovered an hour out of Beijing and thousands of Europeans flocked there to make a fortune and support their families overseas?

    1 John chapter 2:15 - 17
Love not the world, nor the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boasting of life, is not from the Father, but from the world.
And the world and its lust pass; but he who does the will of God remains forever.

Only the aboriginal people had right to that gold. Not the Chinese or the Europeans. All of you have to bed the real people of that land. And gave them peanuts in return.

So true, it's always the natives who suffer and their sufferings will not even be mentioned

Only a handful of cultures have never been occupied, conquered or colonised and for that matter, the colonised benefitted immensely from the law and order, sanitation, technological advancements the occupied were swept up in
If you think that a diffuse group of nomadic tribesmen should be entitled to have the 6th largest continent all to themselves, you are delusional

Interesting but this episode seems to be almost entirely about Chinese discrimination and very little else about what life was like in the mining areas or even a basic overview of the process.

CR: That's obviously the main purpose. Same old guilt trippers in action. Maybe working for Chinese Social Imperialists.
