I want to give this guy cudos for uploading at least 1 to 2 videos every week without fail no matter how many likes, views he gets , really shows how dedicated this guy is to chess and helping others learn in the process!
so far i have never faced the kings gambit at the chess club. I tried it once myself, but i didn't had the time to fully study all the lines and didn't knew what to do after 2. d5 for black. Now i know it is 3. exd5 often followed up by black with 3. e4
Definitely worth learning, even though in practice queens get traded early and you'll be playing positional chess in a very messy position. (oh I just saw that you avoid the early Qh4+)
Hey! What about you play chess with all of your subscribers and breakdown the mistakes we made and tell us how we can avoid these blunders after the game.
That's weird, I'm also a King's gambit player and I encountered this f5 defense for the first time a few days ago. I was confused at first, but I played 3. nc3 and won fairly easily. It was a weird k.g game for sure though, I think I even ended up castling queenside...
the video is super. my gf tried this gambit three times in the last games i take f5 and we end up almost like in the kings gambit, except that she hast no pawn on f7 anymore which makes it easy to check.
yo u messed up at 8:37 - 9:11 both variats needs the same number of moves to get the center pawn and the bxf5 but in the variant of we taking the queen, we will get the central pawn protectable (c pawn) and not isolated like the variant you showcased as better (but i am just good at math not in chess, i dont critism your chess, just your math)
Hey Kevin, what is your favorite opening for black? I love the King's gambit for white too, I'd love to hear your favorites for black against e4 and d4.
We can play g6 which forces the Queen to retreat.... if it retreats all the way back to d1, we can play exf4 which transitions to some variations Kevin went over.... if it retreats to e2 or f3 we can play Nc6 with view of gaining tempo on the Queen in the next move....
Thanks Kevin 😊,can you just make list on all openings and gambits and make videos on them and also if you are streaming you can play each and every openings while streaming for our better understanding,it will be helpful,👍

Just thought I would mention that at 6:35 not only is Nf2 mate but also Qe1 is mate.

Is there a way to force the kongs gambit if black puts kinght h6?
Great strategies...!😉👍
Doesn't Qh5+ after f5 screw this whole opening or am I missing something?
Messed that up. I mean Qh5+ after Qe7

I always fuck up as black when my opponent plays this so I will play this from now on. But I myself used to play King's gambit in my 600 days.
What if 3.Qh5+

After playing chess on an app I'm addicted to it... Now I've uninstalled...I can't help it what to do
Being addicted to Chess is a good thing tho :)

That is wild and crazy
I love playing f5 in bullet chess, your opponent wastes at least 30 seconds working out how to respond!
very true.
If after i play f5 he doesn't capture and plays g3 what should I do
Then your enemy is a good player oof
Transforming from kings gambit to botez gambit on 12:00.
Question is who is the fool to play f5 if they are playing with white
Ive personally played this before as black
Damn good and crazy!

Sorry - can't cope with inverted board, no reason for it. You forget that not everyone is as familiar with following an inverted game as you are.
What's better than 2.f5? THE BONGCLOUD!!
