I intentionally listened at bedtime, just to get a sense of the channel. I knew i would drift off. I had no idea i would enjoy your discussion so much that each of you would be seated at a table together in my dream. I was going to join you but as i pulled my chair up (a chair i brought from home), i was distracted, and movers working nearby packed it unto their truck and drove off. 😂 That's when i woke up. I listened this morning and found a wonderful discussion, as my subconscious had already suggested.
Reform with many tattoos. Always enjoy this topic of discussion as it's a more nuanced topic than most within Judaism seem to realize....Lots of misconceptions repeated over time.
Christianity is a religion about Jesus, a Jew who lineage is traced to the line (house) of David. Probably the person most responsible for the early starting and success of Christianity was a Jew, Saul of the city of Tarsus, who changed his name to Paul (now known as St. Paul) after he had a vision of Jesus after Jesus' death.

Is it true that what is now called the church was started by a Jew who was born and raised in the house of David?
