Just a gentle reminder to insulate your shed if your pugmill will be out there for the winter. You don’t want your clay to freeze. Love and strength to you and your family. Excellent whale!
Oh my, your poor hubby, so frustrating and worrying for you both. As always a wonderful kiln opening and your whale is just fantastic. Thank you for sharing. Take care xxx
Just love the whale, and the mushrooms super cute with the lighting, but that whale, just wow. Keeping everything crossed for that hubbie of yours, stay strong x
Love the fishes and the whale! I been following Vaughan as well and you both are so inspiring❤️ love the mushrooms too, they are cute will look great as lamps😊 I love your videos and look forward to see them when thet come out. Sending positive thoughts for your husband’s health.😊

WHALE IS ADORABLE!!! but I do love me some mushroom fairy houses. I really appreciate your tutorials. I just started doing pottery and you have helped me so much.....so Thank you,Thank you,Thank you🐦 Sending your husband and you prayers from Redland Florida

Sending get well wishes to your hubby and a hug for you for what you are going through while continuig to produce and share such wonderful creations with us. You are an inspiration xx
Another great load Tiff! I love the whale! The other fish turned out great too, but the whale is perfection! Healing thoughts headed your way. You guys have been through the wringer!
really hope your hubby gets well ...with his leg still attached.. staying busy is perhaps a good thing to keep your mind thinking about other things.....nice kilnload..luv the fairylight mushrooms , and that whale...whow .hope the market goes well for the girls...
Dear sister by another mother, my heart goes out to you and the hubby. Went through all this for the last 2 years. I'm going to send out good wishes and lots of prayers to all the spirits out there, hopefully you will both find relief. As usual your kiln opening was fabulous. Vaughn must be so proud of your fish and that whale, just awesome. You stay strong maybe someday I'll get to Utah. ❤
I am praying for your husband. I am so sorry they haven’t gotten this under control yet. The whale is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I’m so glad you are going to try to have the fish that broke going around a corner. You could also have it going around a corner that is on the outside. Best if luck with everything.
I am not sure what is my favorite. You do such amazing work. The whale is pretty remarkable. You inspire me. I hope to get a chance to see you again someday. Julie (Idaho)
Great kiln opening, thanks for sharing. All pieces were super - the whale is spectacular!! My favourite, if I had to choose. Hope things soon start to improve with your husband's health.
Luv the whale and the mushroom fairy houses, I hope your husband get better, I looked after my dad who lost his leg from and infection and diabetes we fought for a yr trying to save it
Oh, that's so hard. My grandma lost hers from a plane crash, but it didn't keep her down. She had a leg for the shower, for the pool, and for every day with the toes nails painted. If it comes down to my hubby losing his, I doubt he'll be like my grandma. 😀
@@hobblecreekpottery Thats great that it didnt let it stop her, Dad gave up learned to walk with the new leg after he left the hospital he refused to leave home. I hope your Husbad keeps fighting. I grew up in 100 mile house BC HIWAY TO ALASKA. I never made it past Dawson Creek tho
@@corryg6403 Yeah, I'm afraid Mike would react more like your dad. He'd probably sit at his computer and game himself to death. I've been to Dawson Creek. Beautiful area!
woah, that whale is amazing! All your work rocks. I have been making lamp shades lately (it will be awhile before I have a kiln opening with them tho) and when I first saw your mushies way back when, I pictured the potential of them with lights inside or as lamps, I've always loved lighting and lamps tho but...LOVE that you added lights :). I have been using Kimchi a lot and I love it more and more every time I see it on someone's work!
All of Spectrums floating glazes are amazing. And the price is great too. Yes, making lamps and decorative items just makes me happy. Good luck with yours!
I bet someone at your sale will love it too. It always happens that the one you don’t really like is the one someone just has to have. Prayers for your hubby.
OMG T, prayers for your hubby that he makes a good recovery soon! I'm sure its very stressful for him, you and your entire family...so Im sending healing vibes out to the Almighty/Universe for his recovery. and also OMGoodness that whale! its outstanding, awesome, beautiful, "wish i could so something like that/wish it were mine" kind of whale! How did you get the "barnacles" on his head and fins????? Anyway, blessings for your hubby you stay well!
I learned from another RUclips Potter, Lios Hook Pottery a trick she does using kiln wash on her cookies. Wow what a life changer that has been for me. I think you'll be happy with the results too, if you decide to do it. BTW I'm obsessed with you videos, thank you.
Vaughn Smith, Nokia Scotia pottery I watch him alot also, another one of my favorites besides you. You did very well with Vaughns Smiths video on how he makes his whales & fish. It looks just like his, as far as shape & flow except with your twist with those barnacles on it, which is really different. Hey girl, I really hope your hubby will be okay & he's at least on very strong antibiotics, until this hospital can get their shite (Yeah I'm Irish) together. Insurance is nuts isn't it. WE PAY MONTHLY, they want their money, yet when we need em it drags on, not right! I've heard in other countries medical is free.
Yeah, don't get me started on insurance. Ugh. Makes me so mad. Vaughan is brilliant. Someday, I'll get out to Nova Scotia and meet him. He's such a wealth of knowledge. I'm thrilled to be lumped with him as one of your favorites. 😀
I have so much to say lol the video isn’t even done yet! First husband, yikes sending good vibes his way! How awful. Second: advancer shelves….. what did you wash them with? I am tired of scraping them lol. I will keep watching
@ladeefire TN is gorgeous, too. What part of AK? I washed then with kiln wash, and I still had to scrape them, but I'm hoping it will be easier on the bottoms of my pots. It's an experiment like everything else we do. 😀

From someone who knows wrap that leg in comfrey! My favorite is the whale but the mushrooms are very cool too.
Both of today’s videos are awesome, just like always! Prayers for your husband. I know how hard this can be on the spouse.
Yes, and we all know how awesome men are when they are sick. 😫

It's been sooo crazy! Thank you.
I love, love, love the whale!
Great thinking making the whale fin function as a handle!
That was a happy accident, lol.

I like the pumpkin plate with the speckles. It reminds me of granite ware.

Ahh, thank you so much. The barnacles were easy. They were broken bits of dry clay that I pressed into the clay. Worked great.
Another stunning video, beautiful work. Question how do you mix kiln wash. I have the powder but not sure ratio to water
I mix it to a whole milk thickness and then do 2 coats, letting it dry in the sun in-between coats.
@@hobblecreekpottery thank you so much
I love the whale!
Would you be willing to show how to silk screen and slip trail? Love your willingness to share. Sending prayers for your hubby.
I do plan to show silkscreening. I do have a video slip trailing on my mandala mugs. Let me see if I can find it.
