Please provide accurate and detailed information! While saying level 1 charging is available you didn't say how long it takes to fully charge. You only mentioned "hours". Well, everyone who has any knowledge of EVs knows that....how many hours is what we want to know!!!

Level 1 is a standard 15, or 20 amp breaker. You'll only get about 4 miles an hour charging. You'll need a 240 plug installed, like a dryer has and you can charge at about 32 miles in an hour with a 11.5 kw charger. You can get over 40 miles in an hour with the 19.2 kw charger.

@@kimwalker108 Thanks Kim, that's very helpful information! I placed a deposit on a Lyric a month ago and know it will be at least a year until it is available. The 240 Volt option should be fine since I only drive 100-150 miles a week.

The cord that came with my Lyriq supplies 120 volts to the charger at a rate of about 4 miles per hour or 240 volts at a rate of 24 miles per hour.

I was considering a Lyriq until I saw the anemic DCFC curve. Do better, GM.

As someone we drives 6-7 hours via Midwest and Eastern turnpikes, BEVs are not feasible due to the long charge times involved.
