I've been driving around with no music or no clock for about a week trying to figure out how to get around paying 2 to 300 bucks and I didn't want to take the chips out and go messing around with the actual hardware, so thank you so much for this video that was absolutely amazing!!!👊🏻👍🏻👊🏻👍🏻👊🏻👍🏻👊🏻
Thank you! I saw videos where they remove a chip, there is a company that has codes, but not for the newer Delco radios... I really didn't want to remove the chip, because once the chip is removed the radio will not hold presets/programming. This is simple and works great. Thanks again!
My 2013 Silverado's ration display died but the radio was still good. I bought a replacement from an auto parts place but it was locked. Tried everything and thought I as going to have to go to the dealer. I ran across this video. Thought I'd try it. Nothing to lose. It worked great!!! The brains are in the radio, not the display. Thank you.,
Thank you so so much for this information! We were in the same situation and were in the process of going to the dealership to pay to get the new radio unlocked when we came across your video! We tried and it worked!! Thanks for saving us money!!
I felt so dumb after watching all the other videos your like will smith in that scene from the men in black lol will was the only 1 to use the table lol
With your buttons getting ugly comment. I wanted to make sure you know that amazon sells replacement stickers for your heater switches for like $7 they are pretty cool. Just fyi
I bought a 2011 Chevy Impala radio....face plate and radio looks like my 2012 Chevy Silverado........My displays bad......Can i swap the impalas face place to mine like you did here ? Thank You.
We’re you able to unlock your radio? I just unlocked my 08 Suburbans radio. The dealer or anyone with a pc (laptop) can download the software from GM and use a pass thru cable (I used Snap-On Pass Thru Pro II). The radio I installed was from LKQ salvage yard out of a 2014 Chevy Pickup. The salvage radio must be like for like and just needs to be flashed (programmed) in order to work properly for the vehicle configuration which is why a used radio shows locked when installed into a different vehicle.
Done this before between my suburban and Silverado works but text and numbers shift up little so you can see lower half of clock numbers if anyone know how calibrate this pls help me thank you.
hey man so half of mine only works, the half left side doesn’t but the right side does. If i push it a little and hold it then it works but if i let go it quits working. Any ideas?

Yes I know thanks but there's nothing like a factory button vs a sticker in my opinion.

Hello, I bought a 2014 Tahoe radio and got it locked and my car is a 2011 Silverado, what is the way to unlock it.
