I need one
Palisade there is not in portugal
It definitely looks like a defender. That's why I like it so much. Never thought I'd like a Santa Fe. Lol
We bought one Thursday. We love it
I like the new Hyundai Santa Fe it's boxy beautiful just overall it's a very nice car
Me too
One of the best walk arounds I've ever seen if you ask me! Thank you!!!
I’ve watched many videos on the Santa Fe, yours is by far the best. Thank you.
You're welcome! Thank you for watching.
This looks like a concept car. Truly futuristic looking.
I feel like a lot of car designs nowadays look like concept cars from the 2000s
Rear end looks like a 90s Toyota Previa van.
Thank you for providing actual real world cargo dimensions! I've been looking at this to replace my current Outback but I often haul long items (skis, snowboards, lumber, etc) so that tailgate to front seat measurement is necessary. I dig the luxury styling and love that I can get my cargo needs in something that's essentially the same size as the Outback.
This is a formidable review, with consistent clear and detailed information. 🏆
buying!
thanks for the great video
I was kicked out of Hyundai dealership because I asked for the new Santa Flex Ford😂😂
The people at the dealership I go to would’ve just brought you to this car.. I called it the wannabe wagoneer
Looks like a giant lego right.out of a box but it's different. All straight lines without curves. I'll take one in black.
I'm really liking the design of this Santa Fe! Tom, thank you for all your videos - I ended up getting a Pilot for my 3-row solution but am still interested in other smaller 2-row SUVs (or sedans!)
i’m convinced people don’t ACTUALLY remember what the ford flex looked like based on all these comments lol
at most, they’re similar silhouettes but that’s it 😂
love it!
I wish they wouldve left it as a 2 row specifically for our family's need, but we will just keep the 3rd row folded down. Overall, I like it, other than the placement of the rear lights. Ty for the video.
Totally agree. Wish they had just a two row option
They are already up charging $7k on these in the DFW area. I urge everyone to not buy these for any more than MSRP if not less. By holding your ground, you will teach these pesky dealers a lesson.
I’d tell the dealer to stick it where the sun don’t shine. In a year it will be just another vehicle.
Me too, milwaukee area a 5k charge for shortage and market adjustment at my local rosen hyundai
@@tonymacans2854
Don’t get me started on that dealership. I have little good to say.
@@tonymacans2854 those price gouging .......!
What dealers so I can make sure to avoid them? I’m in northern DFW
Very nice, you get a lot for the money. Its about the same size as my 2021 highlander.
Thought these weren't arriving till March. I see your Shreveport dealer is marking them up by about $2300 with "dealer accessories"! Haha!
Dealer over here in NC told me 1k below sticker with no BS nitrogen.ceramic coating or fabric protection. They want to get them in and get them out. The other dealer is still playing games
I'm thinking it looks like a Ford Flex. Seeing that huge inspection sticker on the windshield does make me thankful I live in a state with no vehicle inspections.
boy I don't want to be in that state with all the low dollar cars out there bouncing around and into each other!
Take a deep breath 😂
What a time to live when I'm excited that there are buttons and dials.
My favorite look on the Santa Fe was the 2020 model. I liked some of the updates on the refresh, but definitely not the updates grille. This here should of been a entire new model
Excellent review with cargo dimensions.
Great video, thanks!
Looks so much better than printed material!! Actually looks pretty good!!
Love it! Def liked the features and the overall upgrades.
For some reason, the new Santa Fe model looks better in other countries, e.g., Korea, Australia, etc. I think it might be the color scheme.
They are also reviewing the Calligraphy model, so that helps.
The US based model also seems to be missing the outside "pocket handle". It allows folks to easily climb up and place items on the roof rails.
Absolutely love my 2024 Santa Fe! I got this color. Wish I would have known that other colors were on the way! My seller didn’t let me know that!
Congratulations! Looks beautiful. What color is this exactly? Silver??
Looks great I would like to purchase one, but I’m not gonna pay over MSRP or play those games
TY very much very detailed! I am going to test drive this soon TY! Aloha & Mahalo
We bought the Limited trim level in Serenity white with black interior.
What is the exterior color of this one you reviewed?
Yes, I also want to know the official color name. Looks good
I’m guessing shimmering silver
Hampton Gray?
This is a very sweet looking ride with great options for under $50k
good luck getting it under $50k with these pesky dealers upcharging.
Would look very sleek with the rear de-badged. Looks great either way. The Palisade front with the Sante Fe rear would be amazing
Do they have it in a hybrid and plug in hybrid or is it just in Korea?
Hybrid supposed to come to U.S. in the summer, Iver heard August. No plug-in this year.
Looks good! We don't have that silver exterior color in Korea.
Love this vehicle and Hyundai can make a luxury vehicle and price it below competitors because they own the steel manufacturing. I'd have to see the spare tire underneath but I suspect I won't be a fan of it. I had a Toyota 4Runner that had it mounted underneath and it was a pain to crank it down. Plus, it got exposed to all the elements (particularly road salt here in the NE) so the first time I needed to access it I discovered that the mount was essentially rusted onto the rim of the tire.
I don't particularly love the new design! But this one for some reason i feel is very attractive!
I didn't like the wheel design on most of them I've seen! I really think these wheels fit the design of the truck a little more for me! 🤩
Very good review. Thank u
The reason for the power shade is in the rear sunroof is because it can be closed by the driver, even when is driving alone.
duh!
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this sport utility vehicle here but im waiting for the 2026 hyundai palisade with two engines 2.5 litre hybrid and and a smaller more efficient V6 3.5 litre to replace the 3.8 according to the carscoops website thanks
good luck if it keeps the V6. Better get one now if you want a v6.
Im so glad Ford finally redesigned the Flex! This new Flex looks amazing!
I have a 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy on order - Serenity White exterior with Gray interior. I’m coming off of a 2-year lease on my 2023 Genesis GV80 2.5T Prestige. The Santa Fe should be here the end of October or beginning of November. I’m looking forward to getting it.
I like the changes they've made!
Just a quick question:
On videos of this car from South Korea, the turn signals in the rear are orange and mounted below the bumper.
On 2024 Santa Fe models for North America, are there no orange rear blinkers and the same red tailgate lights are used for turn signals??
Thank you.
What happened to the Calligraphy Sante Fe?
I was wondering the same thing. I watched a couple of videos when the unveilings were being done and I know they said the Santa Fe’s were the Calligraphy edition.
I LIKE THE NEW BODYSTYLE
LOOKS TO ME LIKE THE OLDER FORD FLEX
Gosh dangit, now thats all I see 😂
What trim is this please??
Limited as you can see in the video title.
I dont know why, but patchwork quilt comes to mind.
When pre-orders opens in EU I'll be ordering a fully loaded HEV in blue.
Just curious, the price you mentioned 45k usd is it including the tax or not ? We are still waiting for the prices here in europe and considering we will only have Hybrid or PHEV versions the starttprices might be about 50% more than in USA. Other than that I love the car, I love the looks , the rear end initially was a bit cringy to me but after few months of looking at it on RUclips and then seeing it in person at the EV exhibition I have to say it’s not bothering that much anymore. The interior is absolutely fabulous, the dash is very stylish and nothing excessive to the eye. More importantly the quality of the materials and how it’s assembled is top notch. Similar to German luxury models if not better. Thanks for the review!
This the top trim?
I bought my 21 Santa Fe in 21 and absolutely love it but now thinking of upgrading to this but not really a huge fan of the 3rd row
you still have 15 more years left on your Santa Fe. Forgetaboutit!
other than the H in the tail/headlights, I love it
I have thought about where I’m going to sanitize my phone in a car.
I actually like 90% of this, and I’m picky. But that rear end is something else 😂 hopefully they refresh it in a few years to look more conventional
All brands going for the square look.
I like the vehicle overall, but two things I don’t care for is the back end. It reminds me too much of a van, and I’m not a fan of vans. I agree with you that it should have dual exhaust. Without it, it looks unbalanced. You did a great job explaining the features on this vehicle.
The front is downright gorgeous. Yet, the Geo Metro rear is a deal breaker for me. That needs a redesign.
When I look at the back oh my god I need to wash my eyes 😂
I work for a company that makes the headlamps center lamps and taillamps for that car
Like it just thought it was more bigger and I don’t like the back of it but, the front is cool. Look like a Back to the future kinda suv.
Hope they take the Santa Cruz with this design tailgate of course
Santa Fe Limited vs Santa Fe SEL which is the value for money?
Do they have AWD?
This korean car manufacturer has used US as test dummies for their vehicles Hyundai engines, transmissions, especially the wiring, vacum lines hoses, are deliberately made to fail catastrophically nearly frim day one of ownership.
It looks like a LAND ROVER DEFENDER on the pictures, but in person or in the video - a different car.
It's rather nice Ford Flex.
I think you are the first with driving impressions. So this (with a couple of $10k vacations) or the new lexus GX?
I'm going through the same dilemma. If Hyundais were historically reliable, I'd say this. This is as close to my dream car as anything (especially considering the hybrid gets great gas mileage compared to the GX), but I just don't have much faith that the car will hold up well over the next 10 years.
Existe ou nao existe problemas na transmissao no novo santa fe
Are these still uninsurable and easy to steal? Also is there a spare tire?
Good question. I am going to call a couple of insurance companies and price the insurance compared to a similarly priced Forester, CR-V, and RAV-4
the most important piece on a vehicle is the engine.
Yes wet 8 speeds DCT opposed to the 7 speeds dry DCT that Hyundai launched with previous models (and that is still present in certain models for certain markets) that is infamous for its really low reliability
Wet DCT means clutch plates are in oil. Dry DCT means clutches are 'dry'.
What color is this please ?
Shimmering Silver
what are those ir lights for 17:10
Thanks for your review. Would you pick this over the Honda Pilot?
You're welcome! Yes, I would pick the new Santa Fe over the Honda Pilot. Overall, it is higher-end and has a higher-end feel to it while still having simple technology to work with. The larger screen is something I like as well. (12.3 inches compared to 9-inches) I would like to see an increase in horsepower but the horsepower is basically the same as the Pilot.
@@VehicleVisionarythe Santa Fe does have an additional 50lb ft of torque! Feels faster from behind the wheel. The quicker shifts from the DCT in the Santa Fe help with that!
@@ayushmalpeddi2793 DCT is useless offroad
@@ayushmalpeddi2793yes but will the DCT hold up over the long run? I have heard they have had issues.
Uhm neither this nor a Pilot is doing any real offroading. @ccs9271
It’s like Hyundais own g wagon
They need to make a Santa Fe N-line with a turbo V6
Inside and out, this is a very nice looking SUV. Only thing I wish is it was RWD. Don't care about AWD or 4WD. Just me though.
It is a huge car. Uncomparable to previous Santa Fe models.
Do not like the wheels. The Limited should have the same rims as the caligraphy
I like it
just wait for big boy come out on 21rims
It's funny: we just bought a Tucson, and one of the things we liked was the styling-which was true for most of Hyundai's vehicles.
Except, conspicuously, the Santa Fe...which (still) looked sort of boring and pedestrian in design.
That sure changed.
I was wondering what happened to the Ford Flex
would like to see the silver color with black ink
I think it looks more like a Next Generation Ford Flex, had they not been discontinued.
It looks like Ford Flex to me, with some Mods.
Where is the sunglasses storage???
I don't like it! I love it! At first, I wasn't feeling the tailight placement, however they have grown on me!
Looks like a slightly, and I mean slightly, rounded Expedition.
Who's selling them? No dealers in Florida have them
It’s so unnecessary to add the 3rd row for this segment , just for it to make the rear end look so odd , sigh.. I’ll pass
Arguably. Kia/Hyundai is the best company on the planet for style innovation and image reinvention.. it’s a shame they are best at making fireballs.. reliability is iffy and dealerships are the biggest conmen in the industry. In my opinion.
Nice looking except the back. The back looks like a mini van from the 1980's.
I'm curious to know if the H emblems on the hood and liftgate could be removed without leaving a depression or alignment holes?
The rear looks like a geo metro hatch back
It a nice SUV but I don't like the back
Same here I think its too flat
Better pick compared to Highlander.
Better than the Lexus TX? Also are you referring to Highlander or Grand Highlander?
The exterior is EV futuristic looking. Good price, but not for me.
