I need this. This thing makes it visual. I know those locks well, and can pick them. Then having a tool like this removes the need to figure are where you are inside the lock, it's right there. Great video, thumbs up for that.
Always great to see new tools in use! Thank you for inspiring me to learn to pick locks. And work towards being a lockSmith. I am a disabled Veteran and have been struggling to find something I can do at home to keep my mind occupied and my hands busy and learning to pick seems like it will be a great fit. I ordered a starter pic kit and I’m excited for it to get to me!
Wow... Everything just short of an Endoscope, and a View Screen on this ROTAR Pick! Crazy! It almost wants to remind me of a crazy; Internal Diameter, 3 Point Micrometer.
@@bosnianbill Yo estoy tratando de abrir un candado Mul-T-Lock interactivo de la forma manual para mostrarlo en vídeo, pero me está costando para abrirlo.

The Master Lock Picker with the expensive custom made tool has a hard time picking a Multlock. I think I've made a good choice to protect my storage unit with one of these locks.
figured I'd put it out there, multilock counts cuts from tip to bow of key. & MICS is 1, MACS N/A. could have an A next to a D next to a A but can only have A1 or A2. B1 B2 B3, C2 C3 C4, D3 D4 D5 [inner pin] also interactive pin is almost always cut 4 (from tip) is normally Z0 or Z1.
This tool reminds me of the lishi keys. 😎 pretty neat. I've seen modern versions that look super well made and are pretty impressive. Not that this one isnt...I just mean they've come a long way in the past few years
Philadelphia Cream Cheeze used to come in a nearly identical box for food service... dovertail with a sliding cover..... before they went to carboard... probably when Kraft bought them
Hi Bill, why don't you use A sound amplifier, you fix it on the decoder then you will have an extremely clear and powerful sound to hear all the clicks
Looks like a tool you and LPL would have made. Another great video Bill. There's an idea, make one like this for other locks? Maybe it's just my sleep deprivation speaking though....??
Yes, it will easily handle interactive pins since they are identical to the other pins. Only the KEY is different. It will NOT do the sliders on some of the more advanced cylinders tho.
It's cool to see this tool.. it's a lot like the sputnik tool from Russia!.. be cool if they would make it more affordable..but ya cool tool..rotary pick...thanks for showing
Can you use shims during picking and start in front of the barrel (pin 1) as you move back push the shim in to hold the set pins up as you move into the lock this you can pick in order 1,2,3,4,5?
I have a pair of Cronus Interactive deadbolts on order to upgrade my home security. Now I don't feel quite as secure. :-) Great tool and great video. Thanks.
That's a beautiful piece of equipment, nice design. Whoever machined that was talented. Now what about the interactive locks or the ones that also have the dimples along the side of the key for group/master keying? They used group/master keys at a place where I worked, turns out if you took your key to the guy in the machine ship he could add the extra dimples and make a group master key 😂
It’s so frustrating, the rotar pick is just a dimple pick with a handle and integral tension wrench. And yet, some Mul T locks just won’t lift their skirt, haaa. Picked an E14 a while back, last week, I successfully cracked a C6 that had been in my naughty bucket for 8 years. I decoded it by a digital caliper, then found that the card I had found in the same place as the lock, had the info on it all that time, hahaha. Lastly, I still have a keyless E11, 8 years in the bucket, 100’s of hours, never had any give on the core during picking. I think it might either be mostly A’s or mostly D’s, because it must have an extreme bitting that is just evading normal picking. A D pin, is actually set by the 0.5mm thickness of your pick. Any more and it’ll overset. I will just keep on. Oh, Tried bumping with an interactive key, nope, threw the lock across my bedroom, hahahahaaa🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭🤦♂️❤️❤️❤️
These tools are great for opening locks - the only problem is the cost and also the fact manufacturers keep bringing out new locks all the time - If you were to buy them for every lock you wouldnt make any money locksmithing !
As you were introing this tool i was nervous because i spent a lot of money to put Mt5 and mt5 plus locks on my house but considering how long it took you to pick with this tool in perfect conditions i still feel safe! this is a nice tool but im not too worried the neighborhood scum bag can use it to quickly defeat a mul-t-lock so all is good
That's a beautiful piece of machinery, such precision. That'd make a pro out of anyone. 🍺😎
I agree, now if they could make a tool to attack the MT5+! THAT would be awesome.
Now, where did I see such care put into a project before? Hmmm...

Don'z Lockz, With enough practice maybe then. LOL!!! I am talking about myself of coarse, never have had a go at these type locks, Thank God!!!!
Bosnianbill There is more difficult than MT5+ i met her last night 😂
It’s like we can see what you’re doing inside the lock! Neat idea and super well executed.

Well Done to the makers of that tool.
I love the fact that you can feel all the different feedback but still decide not to move a certain pin. Great tool

Love the precision 😱😍
A nice tool, looks like they put a lot of thought into it. Also, it works really well to illustrate what you're doing as well.

Which is a better first real picking set, the Saprrows EOD light or the Tuxedo? They both seem like great bang for your buck kits.
