Anyone struggling with bottoming out of dampers because they lower too much for the standard sport dampers?

Have you had a chance to measure the ride height after settling? What is the measurement (rough) from the center of the wheel?

Just a heads up for anybody needing new spring coils for their 535i/550i M-Sport models.... If you DON'T have EDC (Electronic Damping Control) struts/shocks then your spring coils will cost from $43 German/Swiss aftermarket ones to $160 BMW Genuine OE ones. Now if your BMW 5 series has EDC struts/shocks like mine have, you supposedly have to summit your vin# to FCPeuro (only ones I found that highly suggest you do this) so they can access the manufacture special build data for your car because this way they can find the correct specs and coil part that was used to build your special option BMW. I did this and they came out with a total different coil spring part # for my very 5 series M-Sport model. The is no info on their page about the coils they suggested are made for my car but when you do a quick search in other BMW dealer sites they give a description that the coils are made for EDC struts and not for base/basic/standard 5 series models without EDC struts!
I'm guessing this has to do with the coils helping the EDC shocks do their job correctly by making them stiff or soft instantly from a push of a button and also correct height because you do not want your new expensive Falken 510 tires (what I have) scrape on every bump causing damage!
My 535i M-Sport has 20" custom rims specially made for BMW's and Mercedes that flush perfectly to the edge of the side fenders giving you that perfect aggressive look. Also having 275/35R20 tires on the rear and 245/40R20 in the front gives that drop low look since the car is already too low to the ground from factory, this is perfect allowing only a 1" of space from the top tire and the fender wall edge.
I was driving with both EDC shocks ($500-$650 each) all messed up for 2 yrs and that caused my right side spring to lose it's strength causing to sag more low of just a 1/2" of space. This will cause rubbing and premature on the new tires by wearing them from the inside very fast. Always replaced in pairs.
When replacing BMW struts you MUST replace everything the shocks contains from new bolts and nuts ($165 - $180 each kit) etc.... or else you will be doing the job twice! Spring coils only if they need to be replaced do to breaking, sagging or other damage! my 2 cents...
