Dont turn the steering by the disc if is a composite type, you will cause brake judder. (This is that type you can see the rivets holding teh two parts of teh disc together).
Because they have different end goals bmw focuses more on performance and comfort for example their hydraulic engine mounts while they’re not as reliable they do make for a comfortable ride when they are in good condition

Does aligning the tab on the inner busing to the bracket avoid the need to torque the bolt loaded or under weight?

Mine got the cv axel in the way. I had to remove the cv axel to remove lower control arm😢
