Brings back memories, like 1984, disking with a 37 IH disc on some Pick acres back in the day. Pulled it with our 350 Farmall. Still have it, has factory wide front. My Grandpa bought it new in 1957.
First tractor my Dad bought in 1955 was a Super MTA. Used it for everything . Disking, plowing, cultivating corn and beans, in fall put 2MH 2 row corn picker on it. Tractor still out on farm!
Oh no what happened the last thing I remember was a red tractor. Could it be oh no My John Deere my John Deere. Lol. Like to see roll over plow. Enjoyed your video Gino have a great day.
I am a green guy and didn’t pass out with amazement. Looked good with red power. We all have or favorite color. We agree to disagree. Good video, enjoyed the discing.
Late for the show! That ol' Farmall said, "Hook me up, set the tnrottle, and let me do the work. You just ride." Fan of the 2-banger Greens, but do enjoy watching any tractor earning its keep.
Hoping to see that roll over plow . Our friend Pete was at the RED power Showdown. They must have had a dozen different 826's there . A few were the Demos. I didn't see one 856. Had some beautiful 400's and 450's there as well. Must have been working in the field. Love your videos. Please keep up the good work.
Excellent video Geno :) , super on Disk up feild also God Bless on Sneezing fits Lol and yes it dusty job to do ! I Sneezing Fit on Alpha Alpha hay not sure why and done medical check up also there puzzle in why too ! I not why no alegeries to it and but plug my sinus up for 2 to 3 months each year ! Also it wild yes ! Also Red Power Boom 💥 👌 💪 Geno and Happy Father's Day!
Looks like the backs are cutting more than the fronts but that's ok. I like to see dirt flying off the fronts because that's where they meet the sod 1st.
You should look into a small nice morris or there were some JD multiple plex it's like a cultivator with roodweeder attached with tine harrows they pull pretty easy they realy level ground and get them weeds makes a good seed bed as well I used them I realy like them I found they are great machinery ti have they sell sell cheap now adays used
I was curious... Are you doing a side by side comparison of chisel plowed/ disked ground vs moldboard plowed/ disked ground to see if there is any gain/loss in yield?
What kind of power does a SMTA have? Isn't the 400 after the M and more modern? Either way that disk did a nice job on the field, looks like you got it setup just right. (from camera) The SMTA had no problems. You must have a supplier that can deliver non ethanal gasoline because you should be going threw it like crazy at the moment and sitting you sure would want ethanal in your tractors!
What model disc is that? I have an old model "48" IH that i think has the blades closer together. Maybe 7" spacing? Mine is more of a finishing disc , i suppose.
It would be good if you could add an "About" section on your site and link this video as its nice to know what the site is about. I figured it out pretty quick but for some they may think your farming with your equipment. I only watch a few RUclips sites frequently but do so for information vs. entertainment. I do not have time to go to equipment auctions so for me that's what drew me to your site. I have two farms and both have old IH, Case, New Holland, and Oliver equipment so I am interested in that vintage.
@@FarmallFanatic I meant to post my response on your video "Will the New Steering Wheel Fit on the Farmall 826" I must have clicked on the wrong one. I was just responding to you saying your just Demonstrating how the equipment works. I did not mean your not Farming otherwise. Sony for the misunderstanding.
Sorry Gino. I had to laugh when you got to the part of the field that you crossed sectioned chisel plow. I bet whoever suggested you do that has nothing to say. That was a big no-no as you now well know.
i do see him disking , plowing and cultivating but i see no crop videos ........ these small fields have no stubble either .... nothing ..... no crops ..... just weeds .
Not a rock in the field. I was watching some poor guy disc with a Super C and all you heard and saw was the disc hitting and jumping off a bunch of hard heads.
Seen some really beat up drag discs at farm auctions over the years. So many broken blades and the bearings are so bad. The guy mentioned that he broke the housing on the bottom of the C where the fast hitch hooked onto it.

Heirloom 👍
Pass it to the next generation
I sure like old school farming. Your tractors really sound and run great.
Old school farmers are the best
Thank you. I enjoyed that very much. It made my RED BLOOD stir. (Still miss my Stage II Super M.)
Great tractors
Bless you! Dust will do that. The MTA is just a cool tractor- plain and simple. It was the one I voted for 😉 Happy Father's day!
Such a fun tractor man.. Happy Father's Day!

There's something so satisfying about watching a plowed field get disc'd. That M-TA is a beast for it's size!
Yea, I got a good one for sure
Happy Father's Day Geno. Thank you for the videos. I was baling hay with my IH 430 earlier this week.
Nice ...what tractor?
@@FarmallFanatic Ford 4600su. I do have an M, a Super C and a Cub

Still great tractors today
I have a john deere rwa disc that are 12'6 and it makes my farmall m sing baby! Love it👍👍
Yeah that would
The super MTA would look awesome duals on it
I have the hubs too
That SMTA was making it look easy!
It's an awesome tractor
Nice job 👍

Yeah I cranked them so it would do that
Happy Father's Day. Keep feeding the addiction! Red Power! Feed the addiction!
Thanks Bill...definitely will do that!
Looks like it's kind of dry where you are here in Ohio it is dry we need a rain bad😊
Is it will rain this weekend
sometimes do you disk the oppesite way or at a angle to keep the field level.
Always
Happy Father Day
That Super MTA was a good buy like the 400 was!!
Definitely
Nice deep throb from the MTA!
Indeed!
God bless you
You too
Same to you Farmall
love the camera work
Those disk dig in nice!
Yeah they do surprisingly well

That seems like a big disc for 51 horse power tractor. It pulled it with no problem though.
Thanks
Actually, I believe it's 47 horsepower...but definitely pulls it well
It’s doing as good as the Ford 4000 selecto speed could !
I wonder
BOOM!
Nuff said.
Wait a minute father's day is tomorrow, Unless you have the way back machine lol
You were suppose to wait til midnight lol
Just wanted to take a minute to wish you a happy father's day! Enjoy your time with your family! Some of us don't have that option.
I definitely will.I'm sorry to hear that

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Thank you
@FarmallFanatic Your welcome.
Remember a year clutch went out on 1066 put 4 bottom plow on 400 and disk on smta and went to work got all ground done before 1066 came back
Do you remember what year that was?
Need that to level out my old pasture that is just for walking the dog now.
It will be perfectly level when i'm done
It look like around the edge you were on a bucking horse pretty ruff
Yeah that first pass was not too fun
I was curious... Are you doing a side by side comparison of chisel plowed/ disked ground vs moldboard plowed/ disked ground to see if there is any gain/loss in yield?
I could
Happy Fathers Day BTW...
Thank you
Hope you have a great Father's Day !!!
Likewise
The green guys are jealous with envy 😂.
Hehe yep
My grandfather had a disk just like that, and he pulled that behind international 460 or the 856, and both of those tractors pulled very well 👍👍👍
I believe it
