- Rob Halford and Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest performing The Hellion/ Electric Eye with Rudy Sarzo's camper band at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, Hell Bent For Hollywood 2017.
The stress of singing a Judas priest song with Rob Halford standing a few feet away has got to be unreal!
Props to Halford for letting the vocalist have his moment....you know Rob coulda blown him away vocally but he didn't
Well, he had to sing with about 16 different bands, so he kinda hung back when somebody was doing decent. I fucked up on the second verse, but he was a true gentleman.
Halford = CLASS ❤
This is so cool...singing and playing with the legend that is Rob Halford. Just WOW
I guess that camp is legitimate....
.......I think I should spend my stimulus money on signing up for a slot 😁
Ya
Right
Sure he could a
Rob once again proves what a total class act he really is.
I Was about to say that xD
Big dude with v enjoying every metal second. Awesome
He earned his place. Mad props
@@andrewwilliamson5060 Just wish he was a little louder..but he was awesome
Halford is a class act. He is one the best rock vocalist ever. He seems very humble and nice.
Ive met him once ... I was busy with my life at that moment ...but he introduced me himself and i just lost my words. ... Star struck completely. I was frozen . I need to go to somewhere so quick for the job . I wanted to give all the every words if i could to him ....one of the nice moment of my life. ..Thank you Rob ... It means a lot ...so much... 💕👍🤣😭😱🤣
This is Rob Halford being a class act. He looks like just another old white metalhead dude here...not the "Metal God" we all know he is...but it's like he is putting the music before the celebrity....that perpetuating heavy metal is more important than himself as an individual....stardom is finite, but metal is forever...mad respect for the METAL GOD...
And he is putting money before music...
....Do you know how much these Rock and Roll fantasy camps cost...???!!!!
Halfords prescence makes ANY band sound good ..Their guitar player rocked.Rob is the coolest dude around. He loves his fans.
rock dog Rob is the GREATEST.
He loves his fans, except for the guy with the cell phone, at "that one" concert. LOL Yep, Halford's the man.
Rob could've blown him away at any moment but let him have his moment. That's the humility and kindess of Rob Halford
Rudy Sarzo on bass. That guy is everywhere and never seems to age!
Halford can have peace of mind knowing his job will not be replaced any time soon.
Check out Raphael mendes hes gonna replace Bruce Dickinson in a few years
@@masterofmetal85 i did and hs sounds alot like Dickinson yes alright you can he's the main inspiration but don't think Raphael will blow him away (without sounding like an expert)
@@jamesmeade384 no one can be bruce but as a suitable replacement for retirement.....itll definitely be him
@@masterofmetal85 aye can see what you mean by that
LMAO!!! Yep I think he could sleep soundly knowing this...
Imagine you singing Judas Priest in front of the metal god, oh Jesus
Happens at every Priest show. Watch the youtube video of Breaking the Law at Hammersmith on the Epitaph tour. He didn't sing at all, just let the crowd do the whole song.
Verdade ..☺️
I would crap my pants if that was me lol
good times
Rob Halford is truly a class act, as a musician and a person.
Max has waited his whole life for this moment, he's jamming that guitar like 50k are watching! When he gets close to Rob he doesn't even look at him, body language says it all. Reign it in Max, reign it in buddy.
i love this rob was great the guitar player was incredible he lived his day of fame out and how great to see rudy on the bass such a icon himself.
Mega props to Rob for letting the singer have his moment in the spotlight! All these guys, ramdom rockers and Metal Gods alike, playing together as equals
This is the true spirit of Heavy Metal
had the opportunity to meet Rob once as he was changing flights in Burbank, Ca. he was in a rush but still took a few minutes to chat with a starstruck fan like me. Could not have been a nicer/cooler guy.
Halford, Faulkner, Sarzo.....wow....these guys just lived a huge fantasy! And did a great job!
Rob sitting off to the side looking like "I'll sit this one out." The main riff kicks in, everyones head start banging. "Maybe Not."
Gets up and just casually walks over to the mic. I love it.
If I was singing in front of Those guys not only would I forget the words ,I would’ve forgot my name 😳
Breathe and know your cues.
Michael, so would I. I might even hyperventilate.
I would've puked at the opportunity.... Lol... I'm genuinely so happy for everyone who made their dream come true.
Are we gonna ignore that you got Rudy fucking Sarzo on bass back there?!?!?!?
i thought that was him
YEEEEEAH! Best thing about Rudy is how influential he is while still being humble .💚💚💚
Rudy is the man!!!!
i sad the same thing!!! xD is SARZOOOO for fuck sake!!!!!!
But that big guy on the v
i absolutely adore halford! he seems so cool in his comfy shoes, yet he's the beast in the priest
The Hellion/Electric Eye is the first set of songs I ever listened to by Judas Priest back in the mid 80's. I was barely 8 years old and I even knew then that Judas Priest was more special than most of the other Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal bands. Thirty-five years later Judas Priest is still one of my favorite bands ever. Rob Halford is still a PHENOMENAL singer all these years later.
I fucking LOVE Priest!!! Just stumbled upon this video and this is why. They are all fucking awesome and I would LOVE to simply meet them and tell them so!!!
Halford has got to be the most awesome man in metal ever! Rock on you Metal God!
I come here when I need cheering up to watch the guy with the Flying V. His energy is infectious.
Rob Halford never die
THATS A TRUE METAL GOD.......HOW MANY TIMES MR.HALFORD HAS PERFORMED THE......[MY OPINION].....GREATEST HEAVY METAL SONG IN THE HISTORY.....OF MUSIC.......AND HE STILL FEELS IT LIKE HE IS SINGING...HEARING THIS FOR HIS 1ST TIME........!!!!!!!!!!!
I see Halford and Richie up there but I keep watching the dude in the gray shirt, that guy KILLED IT! Not only was it great playing it was great energy and presence.. that guy rocks!!
I like the guitar player to the right of Halford, the big guy with long hair. He looks like the only dude they're not intimidated by Rob Halford and it's straight jamming out and having some fun. Whoever that guy is.... Is Rock N Roll 🤘.
What an honor to perform with Rob Halford.
I Love Judas Priest Forever
How could you not have an awesome time doing this, might mortgage the old house and do it one year myself.
One awesome thing about Rob is not just his pipes but the fact that he got to live thru and experience metal being born... most importantly how technology improved with better instruments and advancements in sound.
Fantastic! Let's face it, what wouldn't any metalhead give for the opportunity to take part in something like this? I'm sitting with a massive smile on my face! Rob Halford is a legend, simples.
only cost you a few grand
@@usdave2115 Might have to sell a kidney ... lollll
This was really great! I was smiling all the way through it
The first time I heard that song, my dad had just got a "dual cassette" boom-box AND the Screaming For Vengeance tape. I got home from school - he was waiting for me with everything set up in the living room. I hadn't even set my backpack down yet and he's like, "son, have a seat - I want you to hear this". I'm like 7 or 8 and I remember sitting down in front of the stereo (it's a shiny box with chrome buttons and detachable speakers.) He had that think cranked and pushed play and on the opening of The Hellion my whole g'damn world changed in that very moment. By the end of that jam - I think I realized I wanted to be a guitar player.
With all of that said - and thinking about all the years I have known and loved this band - the idea of actually playing on stage with Rob and co. I don't know if I could come to grips with that as a reality. Unless of course, my bank account go depleted in the process then I guess that would make it all the more real.
On another note - I gotta say these guys did a good job and they obviously enjoyed that moment to the fullest. Very cool!
Naww the big dude on guitar was Killin it 👍
It takes real courage to sing a Priest song-let alone one of their concert classics-in front of the Metal God, himself! How nerve-racking and awesome was that moment?
That would have been my dream,to sing with the greatest metal singer of all time. With Rudy killin it on the bass, and that dude shredded the solo bigtime.
That's what comes to my mind when thinking about "dad band". Great job.
Halford is so cool, he’s the real deal, just a good guy whose voice and lyrics will be forever loved.
Open Rob’s microphone
Son... once I walked and sang with the gods
This is so cool - seeing these guys who have made it helping out everyday ordinary chumps like the rest of us who are simply accomplished what all the rest of us really wanted to do but never did
Hal Ford is the most masculine gay man on planet earth there is no debate lmao!!!! He makes the most alpha male straight man seem like a teddy bear
Take it easy there Elton John.
how bout freddie mercury?
Hal Ford huh?
@Joe Bermuda I'm sure you've met plenty of masculine gay men before, you just didn't think they were gay ; )
@Sigkim he did not come out till the 1990's but we all knew he was gay in the late 70's early 80's. It was the Rumor that went around and we believed it. It did not change how important priest was to us. It may have if he would have said it with his own mouth though. I remember first hearing he was gay in the 1970's and I did not want to believe it but I knew in my mind it was true. Did not change anything in the end.
Ritchie Faulkner , amazing guitarist , he wails big time. Rob halford , metal god .
And together with Rudy Sarzo, what a trio of metal beasts!
JUDAS "master" PRIEST ......forever.....
You can feel the sheer joy in this

Rob is great here! IMO the goat metal singer
Best moment for any of the guys. They will remember and talk about it until the day they die
Rob n Richie are such a class act, u would never know if their were huge stars! More people in their position need to act like them, imagine if pop, rap n other type of music stars acted like them! 😂 (I know I'm being very general!)
Damn. That's the most metal effing thing that has happened in the last 20 years. Shit yeah, brother!!!
Great job~~ Also.. Rudy Sarzo!!
Halford hands down the greatest all around .)
When all those former years of bedroom rocking finally paid off. Dude's got the KK Downing power stance and everything.
You see how chill they are like just have fun & jam. However id be like holy shit .. but they make you feel good u can see it !🤘🏼🥁🎸. Another reason fans still grow after all these years.
Got chills once Halford started.
Hi, Tao here from Anistazi band. Gosh, I would love to be at this band camp !
This is awesome.
Greater than himself.
Only a Metal God let humans to have their moment of glory.
I think the description meant to say Rob Halford,Ritchie Faulkner and Max Cavelera plus some other guy!😂 Shout out to Rudy Sarzo!🤘
got my tickets for summer 2020, saturday night and the priest is back.
When I'm a dad rocker I will be attending rock fantasy camp!!!
I play guitar and I worship priest and would give anything I have in this world to jam with Rob! I have a recurring dream that I’m watching priest in concert backstage and Glen has to stop playing for some reason and I fill in for him and play the rest of the set with KK.
What a honour to play with the Metal Gods. Puuuhhh...l would be so nervous but Rob and Richie give them the feeling to be the Metal Gods! Great!!!! I would do anything to play with them🙄
1. Uncle Rob is so cool and down to earth. See this Axel? This is what legends are like.
2. I don't see the need for sunglasses.
3. Big boy done great playing that guitar.
4. Rudy seems to be all over the place these days...
What an experience!! I bet those guys are still on cloud nine!!!! \m/
Rudy Sarzo is the man he is humble and wise Ritchie is amazing And Rob is God
i dunno what is it fantasy rock camp but sounds awesome some folks born lucky
This was very cool!
That black Gibson V goes for $4500 new last I checked. Unfortunately, Gibson’s custom shops quality control does not match the asking price. Sweet Vid!!! 🤘🔥
I just can't imagine what it's like doing this.
This was great with Halford coasting in the background. Didn't notice Rudy until solo .lol.
When Rob Halford walks on stage...you MOVE for the Metal God.
Sounds pretty good...what fun that would be
Dude looks like Rudy Sarzo on bass...oops just read the details! It is Rudy
I was going to mention the same thing
Rudy is the humblest guy in metal.
Rob halford kicks ass !!!! Cool ass video
Legend.
Old SCHOOL.
And Mr. Rudy Sarzo on bass!!!
just plain cool. awesome
Used to crank the original on cassette. Boys and girls, that's a little ribbon with music on it pulled tight between two wheels back in the day
Sharing a stage with Rob is literally like touching God for Metalheads.
Isn't this a great find the main man the metal god himself just jamming it out with ordinary folk no big stage production just metal at it's best loud and fucking proud great effort gues
This is awesome. I sing and always dream of being brought up to sing something .
I'm geeking out as much as the campers just watching this. I'd be acting just like the guy with the Flying V out front.
Der Metall Gott mischt sich unter die einfachen Sterblichen und musiziert sogar mit ihnen, das zeugt von wahrer Größe!
the two icons rudy and rob!
The big dude with the Flying V fucking rawwwwks! 🤘
This was so cool!!! \m/
Big respect, legends,👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Faulkner is a cool dude
