That limb riser setup is the slickest thing I’ve ever seen. I totally agree that LR should have left the front row hook accessible from the factory. Finally, all those skid plates should also be factory standard for a Defender. Since it’s designed to go off road it should be set up that way. Nice work as always.

Cool. Not see the control arm skid plates before. I have the easy fit skid plate fitted. Really easy job.

I'm still not sold on lower control arm armor (or limb risers actually.. ha). I've wheeled the crap out of my LR4 and haven't really ever hit my lower arms. Usually a pretty bad situation if you have to get down on your arms in rocks. I'd rather have the clearance under there than add skids, though the LR4 has steel lower arms. I like what you did with the exterior of this Defender. Look so much better.
I just did most of the continental divide from mexico up to yellowstone a month ago or so. Only issue was I broke a front sway bar end link. (has spares with me). LR4 continues to impress me. Let me know if you ever want to get out and do a small group trip. We go out to CO/Moab quite a bit, we want to arrange something for maybe next year, white rim trail maybe.

On everyday cars the tow hook has a plastic cover that just twists off so why do Land Rover hide it? An essential piece of kit I would think. Good upgrades Steve.👍👍

Always enjoy your videos. I gather you can not open the hood (bonnet) without removing the limb risers?

Although the lower limb riser bracket cleared the bonnet - did the wire karabiner ? Looked like it wouldn't to me!

Good job on the installs. Question.....above the factory tow ring you exposed is that shackle-like pin part of the winch system and designed to be a recovery point? I couldn't tell for sure, but it seems a little thin. Love the new Defenders (I currently own two full size Range Rovers and a Range Rover Sport). As off road worthy as they are, the 110 I drove was the smoothest riding car I've ever been in, even more than my wife's newer Range Rover.

Wow those are terrific upgrades. That defender is soooo close to the ground…4” or 6” ?

How did you get into British cars?

What is the function of driving an English made vehicle far from a tow truck? Probably should buy these in pairs…
