Whoever decided to include the shocking feature was really smart, knowing that this was going to end up a youtube video and that Chris and Wes would of course be giant dorks and end up shocking themselves dozens of times. That's some intelligent content creation right there
Haha, yeah, we made it to follow the wires, 3 paths off each light with 2 off of each fuse so he couldn’t just trace it back from the fuses. Chris buddy had the right idea, but didn’t follow up on it.
Lol we really enjoyed making it. The shocks were well worth it in the process 😂 Honestly there was a much more sinister plan/step in the beginning but we tapered it down for the episode. We figured it would “spark” their imagination and help them figure it out a little quicker haha. I know, evil! 😇 I’m glad you all enjoyed it though! If plans come to fruition, you’ll be seeing an entirely new room in the future! Lots of fun new designs in the works 🔨🪚
this makes me wonder why someone hasn't done a tv game show where its a whole escape complex where the contestents have to sleep in the complex and escape over several days to win a prize
Wes and the joy that he's getting from all this just makes me happy. He clearly appreciates the whole thing so much and I just appreciate that he does. He's enjoying this the way that so many of us would be.

I really dont think chris gets that he did 100% do everything this AI wanted lol

The storytelling in this is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
I designed that puzzle; you could have also followed the wires from light-fuse-fuse-light (eliminating the dead end wires) to complete the circuit but hey, happy to provide a shocking good time!
To the creators of this room: Nice room. Well done! ... especially the electric puzzle, proofing beyond any doubt that the test subjects rather hurt themselves with electricity multiple times before actually starting to use their brains. Subjects also show no learn effect: next puzzle: nanobot synthesis: They don't listen and randomly stick sticks in until they solve it by accident. Last puzzle: clear statement of putting the object in a proper container, but no ... ... Final conclusion: Randomly doing stuff needs more and deadlier punishment.
I get so frustrated when I watch these types of videos. (Yet I still occasionally watch a video or two hoping that I'll see people working as a team and doing it right ala "Work smarter, not harder.") People don't listen to the clues, they try random shit over and over (despite knowing that it's wrong). God help me if I ever end up in a real life situation where I have to do something like this with other people!
I know! i kept saying enter the reference number enter the reference number! and they kept going back and forth between resolving to solve the puzzle and just randomly trying out combinations
@@kassiopiajudkins2722 One great things rooms like this can do is flip things. You try to "Work smarter" and end up overthinking a puzzle that requires a basic level brute force answer. You then end up spending 30 min a puzzle that could have been brute forced in 5. Your timer for escape is now down from 1 hour to 30 min and you have plenty more puzzles to solve. The key is delegation, you can have people try and "work smart" while others try to "work hard" as you make your way through each challenge. The biggest problem will be having "too many chefs in the kitchen" and not enough people willing to just follow instruction from those trying to organize and delegate.
