Fellow viking here more of viking batman but love the fact that you guys as content creators also watch these videos on youtube big fan of you guys at mrbeast and i hope you guys keep being yourselfs
doesn't really stand on it's own, but could def see it being a part of a larger escape room experience. Where you need the antidote vials for another puzzle
I agree. It feels like we were put in the middle of a story. It doesn't hold up well on its own, but if we had a something before and after to really set up the story and then end the story, it would have felt better.
100% agree. I was thinking that because they identified the frequency and the guy died immediately after your strike that you were being manipulated by the bad guys. Was hoping for a twist where you just synthesized the new T virus and now need to make a real antidote. Maybe with a communication from a second frequency that disagrees with the first. Did the story feel like it was going that way to anybody else? Seemed a little too simple as it was, and l(as you said) more was going on.
yep, the puzzles are too easy and pretty bland for a standalone version. Most of the time goes into watching the clips. Since its not restricted by physical functionality like most puzzles you can be really creative with it, the maker didn't unfortunately take any advantage of that.
TBH this puzzle doesn't seem nearly as good as the ones you usually have (and it seemed like maybe you had this reaction too). There didn't seem to be a lot of "figuring stuff out" involved with it. It was mostly just a series of memory tasks. Maybe some people find that fun, but I for sure would have done the same thing taking a picture to prevent myself from having to go back and forth between screens over and over.
Totally agree. The problem with memory "puzzles" is they aren't puzzles. If you have a good memory going into it then you finish way too quickly and wonder why you spent $1200 and if you don't have a good memory then you get frustrated and quit and wonder why you spent $1200. They might hit 10% of their target audience with this.
It would be cool as part of a bigger event, imagine a scape room that simulated a zombie outbreak, you scape, get bitten, and have to them complete this game in a time limit to get the antidote before you turn, as an ending to the entire scape room puzzle, and after that you use the other 2 to stop the outbreak I suppose. Maybe that's the idea of this one, and not to be an stand alone game, because yes, it feels lacking as an individual item.
Chris, if you can hear me. You were there when I was rocking my only child in her bassinet and you're here now for her first year of school. Thank you. Always great stuff. You're like the friend I don't have lol. Have a good holiday season.
Ok, so basically it was “follow the on-screen instructions to open this.” 🤦♂️I agree with you in that I would have done the same thing with my phone, but this was NOT a puzzle. I always enjoy watching you where you have to think or use intellect to discover secret compartments with locking mechanisms, magnets and mechanics; this was simply look at what the screen is telling you to do, and then do it. It was like watching a soap opera without any conflict. There weren’t multiple facets to anything. I still appreciate you and your videos (especially your magic tutorials), but that company did a terrible job at making this “puzzle” challenging…especially for $1200 which you are basically paying for the app design.😕 Awesome intro, as always!😊👍
I'm guessing this is a puzzle design for escape rooms. so it had to be more follow instructions and not more challenging as u said. and thats why is expensive.
The additional "Raaaa" at the end 🤣. Just thought - your crew could've solved the puzzle to get you the antidote! That'd have been cool - a panicked production.
It annoyed me so much to see what that molecular synthesiser allowed you to do, the compound you created was not chemically viable considering how many covalent bonds those atoms are able to create. No wonder that scientist didn't even consider making that antidote! Anyway, sorry for the rant; overall I think this puzzle box thing was alright, it looked very cool and had some nice features, although I feel it could have had more physical elements to it. Thanks so much for making this awesome video Chris, the Zombie transformation at the beginning was quite a shock to see! 🧡💙
@@derfl007 Right?! I immediately said "There's no way that's a hydrogen," and I was shocked that it was. At least make it chemically valid! Anyone who knows anything about chemistry is going to be very confused doing this puzzle because it's going to seem wrong to them.
I am so angry about that chemical right now! Hydrogen having 4 friggin bonds? Come on, I expect m,y Zombie Outbreak simulators to at least pretend to use reality!!!
Right! No way that a Hydrogen would ever have more than 1 bond. A formal charge of -3 on it haha. I'm a biochemistry major, so anything chemistry related in media, games, and film always catches my skepticism
@@Madchemist002 I teach high school physics & grade 10 science which has a unit on bonding. It hurts so much. I at first thought that he was putting in the wrong elements, misreading his picture because there is no way they would... Oh yeah, um they did...
Puzzle feels like it needs another layer IMO, for instance a hacker trying to prevent you progressing. A really cool "frightening" idea might be the missile strike being redirected, and the screen showing a google satellite map of your current position (using gps) and suggesting that the strike will hit you unless you fought off the hacker. The chemical part made no sense from a chemists pov, so that could be improved too.
I get so much anxiety watching you do these without writing anything down. You still somehow always remember super long sequences, you sir are brilliant 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I thought the same thing. I was trying to figure out if there was actually any really intricate puzzles. The only two puzzles that weren't memory puzzles. The first was the beginning with the color lock. and the end with the chemicals which wasn't that far of a reach because they were written on the thing poster. Note the same elements used to make up molecule. Would be slick for most to least elements used to synthesize or something and made you go back a little at the element you created. In the end, I would say good for a beginner
