Just a note that Mr. Puzzle found a new, unintended solution. Every time I cut a batch of puzzles, I remove any new solutions that aren't the one I designed, so if you purchase the puzzle know that you'll be looking for a different solution. Currently, there are no spoilers online and as he mentioned only a few people have found the solution I designed.
I think its a fine puzzle for any collection. Nice work on having created it!
Mr. Puzzle’s solution may be unintended, but a solution nevertheless. He did everything you said. Isn’t it a bit arrogant then to say that there is only one correct solution when, in fact, there isn’t?
@@groreistad5234 I think it's a high honor to find an unintended one and it's a good opportunity to make the puzzle even harden by eliminating it nonetheless.
@@groreistad5234 He didn't say that Mr Puzzle didn't solve it. But an unintended solution might be easier to arrive at, so it makes sense for the puzzle to be adjusted.
@@groreistad5234 "Intended solution" doesn't mean it's the only correct solution, it just means the creator overlooked this way to solve the puzzle.
Admitting this publicly is the exact opposite of arrogance.

To be fair, Mr. Puzzle isn’t your average puzzler. He makes any puzzle look easy.
Indeed. With all of his puzzles there was only 1 puzzle where I did see the solution before Mr. Puzzle. All the others puzzles, at the best I had a vague idea how to solve the puzzle by the time he already finished it. Like this one, I guess, it would take me over an hour at least.

@@Merigold83 Yup, and if you haven't already watched LPL's video about the "Titan's Treasure" puzzle lock (which Mr. Puzzle sent him) you probably should!
I normally would agree with you, but with this particular video, I've been yelling in frustration since the halftime mark, sinché he got the right position, but mirrored, so it wouldn't fit the corner.

That one snake's head looks like it fits in the other snakes coil and its driving me nuts that he didn't try it lol
neck too thicc
I was thinking the same I saw straight away that the little curly snake could fit in the snake it was in backwards with the tail inside and the little straighter snake head could have gone in the other loop of the small curly snake
Freaking same. I feel like that's the actual solution. The Creator of the puzzle commented and said that Mr puzzles solution was unintended
I had this solution too, i hope he'll try it, but he found another way loll
to get the head in, he'd have to apply pressure to squeeze the neck through. That wouldn't count.
It's so funny how he already had it at 8:19 and he only had to flip the frame 😂

5:24 did you noticed that the big gab of the smaler snake looks like it will fit perfectly around the had of the bigger snake in the frame?
Hmm 🤔
@@Mr.Puzzle I noticed this, as well!
I saw that just a few minutes in the video earlier than the time you pointed out. I think that's the key to solving it the way the creator intended. Oh, good, I'm not the spoiler. BTW, I love how so many potential solutions turn out to not work, but only by a fraction of an inch. The inventor has an evil side, just like snakes! Fitting!
I was sitting there at that point of the video wanting to reach through the screen to try that. Kept wondering if he would flip it around and try to make it go around the head. I was tempted to trace it out on paper and see if that would fit or not as that was the first thing I noticed, that gap looks snake head shaped.
I thought about that, but it looks like the neck of the large snake won't fit.
As someone with basically zero spaceal awearness this would be my hell.
8:36 Mah boy already started hissing .
For the longest time I was just repeating to myself "flip the frame!". I have never been so involved into a puzzle video. If I see things like that it normally doesn't bother me. I guess I really wanted him to solve it hahaha.
You shall get some puzzles for yourself! I'm sure you'll like them a lot!
My though exactly :)
When he realized the corners could be the solution, and then started flipping each piece instead of the entire frame, I lost it :p
I wonder how this was designed. How can a designer be confident that there is only one solution when the pieces move continuously, ie not based on squares on a grid?
I wonder if it was made in reverse, like they had the plastic plate and then drew five snakes in it that used up as much of the area as possible.
I think he improved the design each time someone found a solution
I made the puzzle and then sent to 25 playtesters and then removed every other solution they found by slight adjustments of the pieces. There are still a few likely, in fact this solution, which in fairness is correct by the rules, is not the one I designed and would be removed before I make another batch.
@@vexzle Thanks for the insights! Must be both exciting and frustrating when a puzzler finds a new solution, but all a part of the process.
@@vexzle Why bother? It's a valid solution, you could spend eternity ratting out an unknown number of solutions that weren't the one you designed. Just accept that there will always be the possibility of multiple solutions. You should simply post a link with solutions people have found that are valid. It doesn't have to require any further tweaking to the design, that just means you could introduce yet another solution. I've written what I reckon you should do with the solution, simply include it in a sealed envelope with the puzzle, and move on with your life if they decide to open the envelope. It's not that big of a deal.
Looking forward to part 2 of this video: the other solution.
Perhaps Mr.Puzzle could make a part 2 where he solves this puzzle with an alternate solution.
The design looks really nice, those pieces really seem to have a glow to them
Just by watching I feel the fun and joy. Very nice video! ♡

5/5 for me. All my configurations were wrong.
An excellent puzzle, very nice
Such a beautiful piece. I would mount that and hang it on the wall. Perplexor did a fantastic job designing it 👍👍
1:05 imagine how funny it wouldve been if this actually was the correct solution and the video was 1 minute long😭😭😭
“You immediately feel when it’s in.” Gold.
I'm kind of surprised. I thought you would have tried matching the two M-W shapes on the long snakes to see how well they pack thinly.
I want to try this puzzle just because of your enthusiasm.
Guilty! ☝️
This puzzles is really nice, thank you for sharing your attempt and result with us.
I haven't watched your Big Competitor Chris Ramsay in a while because all of the omega-complicated puzzle boxes he focuses on translate so badly onto video. I don't know what he's pressing, and most of the time I don't understand the mechanisms he is solving because everything is out of sight or in weird angles despite his extra cameras. There's too much going on that makes it really hard to internalize. Hell; even Hanayama puzzles where pieces are locked together and need to be moved into a particular configuration suffer from that issue because the reviewer keeps twisting the different elements in their hands and this makes it near impossible for a single perspective viewer to truly get the experience. (Which I guess is good for the makers because it makes people want to buy for themselves, I guess?) The combination of simplistic-to-the-eye-and-mind puzzles combined with clear logical approach and explanation is what I enjoy about your channel. Please keep making your videos! :-)
Thanks a lot. Glad to hear you like the explanations and puzzles I choose. Sometimes it's difficult to explain details but I always try to include the viewers as good as possible.

It's time to put these LITTLE NEON SNAKES, in this LITTLE WOODEN FRAME! Everybody strap in.
Your excitement and giddiness is so infectious and a joy to watch! 😊
You should have said
"Kept you waiting, huh?"
Once you were finished
THEY PLAYED US LIKE A DAMN PUZZLE!
I was looking at it while solving, and all I could think about was rotating/flipping corners for.better fit. BTW, if that is additional solve, the solution is the large headed snake that is mostly strait nests in the large piece that Mr. Puzzle nested, and the small headed strait snake nests in the other smaller piece that nested in Mr. Puzzle solution. It is the only way to free up enough room, I think.....
I loved this one, specially because it was very audience friendly. I got really upset, though, with the creator saying that this was an unintended solution. Mr. Puzzle just proved that there was actually more than one.
in the intro the description of the puzzle said that the intended solution leaves all puzzle pieces loose and that there are dozens of almost-solutions. this solution does not leave the pieces loose in any colloquial sense of the word and so it seems this was one of those almost-solutions.
Hey, I just back to this channel and Mr. Puzzle now has very attractive opening and dialogue.
He REALLY missed the advantage of calling the puzzle “pit of snakes”.
Snakepit
pit of Vipers
I am confident that Mr Puzzle will be one of the 3 out of 40 who solved the puzzle right at the beginning !
😅
When you were so close and said “you sneaky snake”!! I was right there and thought you had it and then you flip it upside down. 😫This is RUclips at its best. Love love love.
One of the early solutions was pretty much on point but the frame was upside down, with the corner giving just that much less space.
I don't know why but when he finished it I felt great joy☺️
Brilliant solve, looks beautiful.....
7:56 all you had to do was flip the circle snake for the head to be on the bottom side

This is one of my favorite of your videos :)
Why? That would be interesting for me to know. 😁
@@Mr.Puzzle I think it's because of how excited you got when you were close to solving the puzzle! When you gasped from excitement, I did too, and it was easier to be excited when you solved the puzzle because of it :)
@@Mr.Puzzle I would like to see you revisit this puzzle and actually find the intended, and arguably more difficult, solution.

No.
This is such a beautifully and precisely designed puzzle
„Knowing the solution can't be reversed!" Me with a memory, wich is less efficient then a bucket with a hole in the bottom: 🥲
I love his "ahhh"s when he makes a good move xD

11:57, amazing villain laugh!
1:35 wow he secretly just fliped us off
This is good because we can see everything going on unlike some puzzles that rely on sound or touch.
I enjoyed this a great deal. Thanks for sharing!
if u look at the edges of the box or square the sides are completely different from each other one corner is rounded out an then another is square or a 90 degree corner an I think these different corners match up with the certain pieces an can def help solve this puzzle idk thats what I got from that because all the pieces have a weird shape that would almost lay right in those corners almost.
If anyone is curious why I do corners like this, I'm ensuring there are only two of the same solutions (one way and rotated 180 degrees) rather than four of the same solutions (rotated and mirrored)
👌
Mr P mentioned trying to take advantage of the curved corner.
that was really fun to watch!
It is cool that he used his experience from the “lion in cage” puzzle with the frame geometry.
1:34 minute in and im already getting flipped off. Sick. 😂
For me, its the audible gasp each time he thinks hes found the solution. Sneaky snek ;)
I was getting soooo triggered by the piece that was perfectly shaped to the other snakes head, IT'S SO PERFECT JUST TRY IT

This is ingenious... the shapes are so funky, they interact so well with each other... good job to the maker
I found the same or similar solution on my first attempt at solving the puzzle. Unfortunately, mine don't have any free play in that configuration. I so far have found 5 configurations where the pieces fit but are stuck in the frame. I've poured multiple hours into mine and am exceedingly frustrated. Mr. Puzzle, I am very curious if you since have found the intended solution and confirmed with the creator.
Thanks for sharing this.. it's unique design
Welcome!
Really enjoyed that one. Well done ...as usual. Would be great if they made that with a level 5 frame? A puzzle within a puzzle?? Would be cool🤫🤔🤗
That is a beautiful puzzle.
When you realise that the two long snakes have different head sizes and that they're not the same :O
What a fun puzzle using lots of logic and thought to do this trial and error...
I think switching the thick 7 shaped snake with the skinny 7 shaped one would be closer to the true solution.
Also, I think that one of the 7 shapes likely goes diagonally across the whole puzzle.
Wow that was euphoric!

In this new critically acclaimed series, after escaping a dangerous land of ladders, five snakes begin their journey to search for a purpose in life, but as if guided by a hand that has descended from the heavens, these young snakes find themselves in a new world built of walls and experience new friendships, romance, betrayal and trials like never before as they struggle to find a place to fit in. Airing this summer, featuring Mr. Puzzle, "Snakes in a Box". Only on NBC, Fox, and the Food Network at 6pm, 9pm EST.
Found the solution un 15 second well i was waiting for more
A 3.5 for you is at least a 4 for even seasoned puzzlers.👍🏼
10:20 Do you not have it except that the round and square corners of the frame need exchanging?
Have you tried jigsaw puzzle 29 by Yuu Asaka? It's a devious, lasercut packing puzzle that must fit inside a square frame. At first glance the pieces look like traditional square-grid jigsaw puzzle pieces, but there are 29 pieces, 5 of which are apparently corner pieces...
Yes, video is already online.
6:55 you did the puzzle right there but the box was the wrong way on, problem is youre trying to think outside the box instead of thinking ABOUT the box
More please!
Of course Mr Puzzle came up with a new unintended solution.
Him solving the puzzle is cool and all but, the guessing of the time is even more impressive 😂
“You sneaky snake!” Lol
At 7:30 you had it if you flip the frame and use the sharp inner corners.
I find it intresting that at 06:20 you found the solution but didn't think about mirroring it to fit in to the corners :/
Not related to this puzzle, but did you ever work the famous T puzzle? Five little pieces of wood to make a T shaped shield. I used to have it, but could never figure out the right answer
Cany send me a picture by mail what puzzle you referring to?
Tried to send a picture. Found it on Wikipedia. It has 4 pieces. Old puzzle I guess
This puzzle is easy. Simply leave the snakes in the bag, grab a hammer, pound the bag with the hammer and then empty the pieces of snakes into the frame. Job done.
Replace the spaces of the two snakes and you might get more space
I would just stack them on top of each other and call it good
By eye, it looks like you should've swapped those two 7 shaped looking snakes. Hard to say though without being able to try it myself.
I'd like to see you try some of the lonpos puzzles 🙂
