One of my favorite moments in cinema is when Miss LonelyHeart is drawn away from a suicide attempt by the music. So incredibly beautiful, brings me to tears every time.
This is simply a spectacular movie! The way we feel connected to each character through the eyes of Stewart is genius. And the music wafting from the songwriter's apartment is the icing on the cake. I love this movie SO much! It's true art.
@@BigMarquise Yeah I know where you’re coming from and I do appreciate the art of the movie however it still was quite boring to watch is all I’m saying
What a masterpiece! It's the sad Truth though when you're so lonely you'll take anyone in, but they don't love you, they just want to use you. Love the ending though!
A major scene i think is her pulling out all these pills clearly to commit suicide and Jeff and Stella are not even close to call the police in order to keep her from that.. i mean they called them and Lisa survives bc of that but you know what i mean?
You should've included a couple of the other scenes.... but great nonetheless. You know, in the next ten years we'll be seeing more and more of this, what with MGTOW and girls who decide they are really transgender and who find out later they really aren't, and get overwhelmed with loneliness (there's a famous novel called "The Well of Loneliness" about just that sort of girl). Since so many young people live in a more and more alienated world, encouraged by people who profit from Big Pharma and Big Tech, the amount of profits that will be made from human misery will be astounding. BTW, this also shows how the problems city people (or people in general) haven't changed all THAT much, but no one even has a TV in these apartments, only radio and phonographs. But they sure had people around... Gonna watch this later.
This movie is a complete masterpiece, but what I don’t understand is I know this is totally go figure ,her name is Miss lonely hearts, why is she dressed in green rather not red or pink?…. Stereotypical I know, but it would make more sense for her to be in those colors with her beautiful red hair rather than green.???.. but go figure the genius of a Director🤔
The choice to have Miss Lonelyhearts wear a green dress rather than a color like pink or red (which are often associated with femininity or romance) may be a deliberate artistic choice to convey a deeper meaning. It could signal that Miss Lonelyhearts longs for something beyond traditional notions of femininity or interpersonal relationships. The green dress might serve as a visual representation of her emotional state, reflecting her desire for growth, connection, or a renewed sense of purpose.

Damn, ain’t that the truth, Jacob

This movie was an absolute masterpiece. I can't believe I didn't watch it sooner.
You missed her wonderful ending with the composer! Everything worked out for her. Geez!
That part excited me she found somebody finally😊
I bet you're studying this in VCE lol
Sadly yes lmao
@@teckersguyo7783 Just as the previous years did before us, we need to study the film too.
@@BigMarquise how about they let us study a movie we may enjoy, I’m not talking a Mavel or DC movie but one just a little be entertaining
@@teckersguyo7783 This is a good movie if you actually study it on a cinematic level, but I do agree on having a better movie to study on.

Hard to believe she was lonely. She was really pretty. Yes a bit older but still really attractive.
