Who knew I would find people I could relate to SO HARD and actually put into words about what I think about my lifestyle and about my wants. Like, same, I'm an introvert who was clumsy growing up and want to be unknown and was a straight A student but after entering online college, my grades has become a disaster, my good habits are gone, bad time management, and people cut me off whe I talk, and I am a night owl who hates waking up late cuz it feels like I lost so many hours sleeping through the day. Gods, you two are so relatable.
Parents love languages is something that isn’t talked about enough. They put a lot of emphasis on “you should be telling your parents you love them” which I get, but like, hearing that isn’t for everyone and maybe that isn’t theirs. It’s weird because for me I don’t like to say it and my siblings don’t say it (it’s uncomfortable, at least for me, especially if said in a serious manner). But my mum likes to hear it and even wishes she’d hear it more and it makes me feel bad :( I guess in these moments it’s where you just have to compromise and be considerate, it’s just not the easiest thing if it really isn’t your “thing”
Same here... its so cringe right.. I mean your not use to it and your whole family but it doesnt mean we’re not close or love each other.. we don’t even say sorry after fights or arguing, we just suddenly talk to each other without realizing it..

I was super close with my parents and thought they would still love me even after I told them (I came out at 30 and part of me thought they already knew anyway). Now, I'm 35 and my parents haven't spoken to me in 5 years. Once I came out to them, they distanced me and pretty much said I wasn't part of the family anymore. So yes, I regret coming out to them. I dont' live close to them and probably could have put up with their constant nagging about getting married, but getting used to not having parents anymore took a lot of time and sometimes still stresses me out. So to those who are considering coming out to their family/loved ones/etc., think closely. Could you be happy without risking losing them all? And I hate the dumbasses with the cliche "iF thEy cAnT AccEpT yOu You'Re bEttEr ofF wiThoUt ThEm". Uh, no bitch, I was selfish in hoping that one day I could visit my parents with my boyfriend and introduce him as the man I love. Now I can't even talk to my parents on the phone. I could have lived happily with my SO and enjoyed our time together while leading that double life with my parents, and now I can't. Thankfully, I'm open with my friends and siblings and they're all supportive, but I lost a mother and a father in the process. I hate how people make it such a black and white situation. It's not that easy.

Bc at somepoint we new the girl was doing it on purpose to get attention which is really messed up.
