i've slowed down watching 4.0 with the boom over, but I still actively watch cypress clips, especially the don and group meetings, love that stuff this shit is the closest to real Grand Theft Auto RP. mafia style storyline, but some wild characters.
Cypress doing exactly what The Company wishes it could have. Big props to Buddha for putting new people in the city with 0 connections to the forefront like Sakura. Even people like Liya, Clark, Queenie etc. are cool to see grow. Love how he pointed out earlier in this stream that this crew isn't about being friends with everyone/other streamers, it's all about the RP about who puts the crew first and whoever works the hardest moves up the chain. Definitely can't say the same about some other crews...LOL.
yeah, i love how new faces are being pushed forward instead of to the side. dont forget about Teddy... just wish he streamed so we could see more of his crew. and lol you can just say it straight up. because Ray/Benji will always care more about making sure their circle of OOC streamer friends are catered too over the RP that makes sense in the moment. glad a lot of people like Rae Mond, January, September etc. stayed away from that weird dynamic and are finding their own RP storylines. i'm surprised Lang was so cold to X in RP but I respect him for not just letting him join Cypress.
@@sparcmac1150 i mean even Besties started struggling when they turned into a friend group instead of a crew/gang mentality...once that is established as the norm, it's hard to succeed as a group when there's clear favoritism over others who actually put in work and value themselves
I think who really screwed over The Company was Blau, the streamer, not Mickey the character. The concept that he created was great, but in order to build something like that, he needed to have the right type of people backing him up, and he prioritize entertainment/content/views, instead of hard work, and when things started to get messy, he didn't knew how to handle it. I'm not trying to bash on Blau, he's a content creator, and I really liked the ideas he had planned and the things we wanted to create, but in order to achieve that, he first needed to build the organization in game, and it took 7 months for Cypress to get to this point, with a lot of hard work, a lot of sanitation hours and other boring jobs, and most importantly, a lot of connections with people that were willing to put the hard work. While if you're a variety streamer, with thousands/millions of followers, if the only content that you'll be providing is playing trash collector for 6 to 8 hours, your views will drop massively, and you'll probably burn out fast.
There's definitely a clear deference between the two. • CG's Umbrella was more lax, less micro-managed, and not truly CG. Hydra from the start wasn't CG, but it's own thing that eventually didn't have CG members in it. (Yes, I know Hydra initially was created before they joined CG.) • Street Team definitely was a gang to help CG with grinding thanks to Wayne deciding to do so, but eventually, after Wayne was no longer leading the group and took too many breaks from ST, they pretty much became like Hydra and were close allies, and CG didn't manage them while Wayne was gone. Unfortunately, most of the drama that came from that Umbrella was out of CG's hands and was OOC issues. It helps a lot if everything's micromanaged, but CG and K, especially, is not someone that does that because he doesn't like doing that, and only does that when it's REALLY needed in CG. K having insane ADHD, and his love being goofy prevent him from doing or wanting to do what Lang is doing. Either way, they're both great.
Not sure if Buddha reads these but this rp has been insanely good. I'm not a big stream watcher but the content has been gold.

Yeah that’s why Reddit that loves Lang is full of clips of great RP these new faces in Cypress are doing 💀
It was funny during this whole thing watching Buddah try his hardest not to say family and brother. He almost slipped up like 10 times
Buddha actually made his own Umbrella the right way and no drama.

this is what the company thought they were
Lang looks like Scarface, total badass

House Clark!

Did lang told them about specialist role
Gigi told the captains about it in their meeting after this one.
I get the feeling Lang is trying to keep it hidden from the rest of the members.
@Tyujlo what video did gigi told them about the specialist role. You have the link for it?
@@aiga4life I don't know if anyone uploaded it as a video but it was from her most recent vod on twitch.
I thought Queenie was a captain in her own right?
