I'm revisiting a lot of your videos right now, and truly, your work stands apart from so many of the current photography RUclipsr's hitting the streets. Your perspective is fresh and considered, engaged and inspired. I hope we get to see some more video work from you soon (and if I ever got a chance to buy a print of 2:26, I definitely would--what a perfect slice of such a surreal scene that feels perfectly like Tokyo).
Your cinematography is on point, the intro was so so beautifully shot. Also, nostalgia kicking in hard, this video makes me want to travel to Japan again so bad!

So much fun pausing the video to have a long look at shots with the sun low in the sky providing long shadows and high contrast. 8:46 was my favorite with the trees providing a color filter for a brilliant shot. 👍

Or maybe I’m a hater idk but regardless if it’s film or digital a great photograph will always be a great photograph regardless with what it was taken on

Great video! I haven't been to Japan for 3 years now. Hopefully I can visit again next year. Also I agree with Alex, Japan is such a great place for street photography, as "camera culture" really is a thing in Japan. Whenever I'm in Japan I don't feel out of place walking around with my camera. I'm always happily surprised when I get to a train station and see so many random people taking pictures of trains.

Victoria has some of the best weather in Canada, even better than Vancouver, significantly less rain. When they do get snow it usually lasts for one or two days only.

I was just in Japan and all those masks severely limited my shooting and shooting pleasure.
@@johnvr1 I feel like nobody talks about it. But i'm switching my channel back to photography.. Just getting my website finished up and I will be talking about it. I came to Mexico City but am truly disappointed. I had high expectations but I would never use a photo with someone wearing a mask in my portfolio. So i'm flying to Ecuador next month.
