Even the Japanese consider Bali as a country like westerners, this proves how strong Balinese culture is that Indonesia doesn't have. So it's only natural if we call Bali as a country😆
It's not a political statement. It's said in the same manner as HK, Guam, Saipan, Hawaii, and Bali. We know that HK is China, Guam/Saipan/Hawaii is US territory, and Bali is Indonesia. But it's also true that we differentiate these places. Bali's unique culture and people is the reason why Bali has always been popular.
Japanese people are kind, but Asian discrimination is terrible. There are people who discriminate especially against short people, people with dark skin, people with low intelligence, and people from poor countries.
@@vifcoz I'm Japanese. I'm 162cm, have relatably darker skin as Japanese, raised in a poor family and now failed to go to a college. But I'm still alive and have never been disrespected by people.

I was pleased to see a diversity of places mentioned by the Japanese people interviewed here. When I lived there many years ago, everybody wanted to go to France. None of these other places would have been mentioned.
It is true that France has been a country that we Japanese have longed to visit, but the news coming in from France these days is all about demonstrations, crimes, and anime, so the image of France for Japanese people has changed from "a wonderful tourist spot with beautiful and historical buildings" to "a country that represents the chaos of immigration in Europe. Unfortunately, Japanese have lost interest in France
Was interested to hear a Japanese guy say that Australian cities might be intimidating, given our cities are like small towns compared to the larger Japanese cities :P But I do understand how he feels, I've always lived in very rural areas, I find Sydney and Melbourne kind of intimidating too.
Yeah I don't get that either what is intimidating about it the Australians i meet of vacation seem pretty laid back maybe it more a language barrier since most Japanese are only taught written English.
Lol Sydney humans... not sydney as a city. The city itself is beautiful 🙏🏽And I wouldn't say intimidating... just highly abrasive and on their own mission all the time...
Perhaps he meant that it may not feel safe for foreigners/Asians. I travel a lot in Asia (two days back from 9 weeks in Vietnam), and the Sydney race riots are still something people discuss and consider when traveling.
@@jm1835 At least white people feel discrimination at least somewhere. No offense. As with most dominant groups of people they will only understand how horrible racism is if they actually experienced it themselves. One can even say it is a humbling experience (if you are a person who unknowingly lived a very priveledged life). But with Japan, it's more on xenophobia rather than against a specific race. They are more scared of the idea of foreigners because they often know only the stereotype of foreigners. I'm not supporting their banning of foreigners in specific places but I kind of understand the mentality
This was my favourite video from you! Takashii is awesome! One guy mentioned Wong Kai Wai and Takashii suggested Chungking Express, which also happens to be my favourite movie ❤ Love from India :)
I’m American and I couldn’t help but laugh when the girl said she wanted to visit the US because she likes places with nice beaches like Guam and Hawaii. Although Guam is a US territory, I’m positive most people in the US have no idea where Guam is, or even What Guam is, let alone that it’s a US territory. I’m glad she does know though. And even Hawaii is so different from any of the rest of the US. I sincerely hope she makes her dreams come true :-)
Yeah I actually laughed out loud😄 I feel like most of the younger generations recognize those places as captured territories that have their own unique cultures and landscapes which you don’t experience in the majority of the “lower 48,” which is why we vacation there too.
Japanese people do really travels a lot huh but to hear their favorite countries is an interesting subject and also that half filipino half japanese is a cutie
This was a great advertisement for Thailand! Haha people seem to really love it there. I want to go now. And I laughed at the guy who said he liked China because of Wong Kar Wai films because I’m the same way 🤣
As a belgian, I can’t actually believe someone said Belgium. I guess the idea that someone from Japan even knows that Belgium exists is pretty cool to me, let alone that they have been there :))
I'm a Lakers fan, so it was cool to see another fan in Japan. Rui Hachimura joined the team this season, and he played great in the playoffs. I hope we keep him on the team.
Takashii, you made a pretty funny mistake in the subtitles! At 5:42, the guy said he went to "Varanasi", which you obviously heard as ヴァルナ市 (Varna City), since you wrote it as Varna in the subtitles...
varanasi, if i’m not mistaken, is where the dead relatives of a family got cremated and taken afloat to the ganges river, right? there’s just something both eye-opening and chilling looking at the bodies turned to ash

Me and my friends keep coming back to Taiwan ❤
I appriciate your work and the videos you upload Takashii! The only thing I dont like about "what is your favorive country" videos is that its too predictable. I find myself compelled to express my genuine admiration for the exceptional qualities that define Japanese society. I am truly amazed, humbled, and continuously inspired by Japan's clean, respectful people, low crime rates, and peaceful, intelligent natured culture. This stark contrast to the slightly hostile and unclean aspects of some societies in England is a testament to the remarkable virtues embraced by the people of Japan. Japan's commitment to cleanliness is truly awe-inspiring. From impeccably maintained streets and public spaces to the meticulous attention to detail in daily life, the dedication of the Japanese people to cleanliness is evident everywhere. It creates an environment that not only uplifts the aesthetic appeal but also fosters a sense of pride and discipline. This remarkable quality has left an indelible impression on me, and I can't help but feel inspired by the collective effort to maintain such high standards. Equally impressive is the deep-rooted culture of respect that permeates every aspect of Japanese society. The inherent politeness, courtesy, and consideration exhibited by individuals towards one another is truly commendable. Whether it is the warm greetings, the meticulous attention paid to social etiquette, or the genuine concern for others' well-being, I have been astounded by the unwavering respect that characterizes interactions in Japan. It fosters a harmonious and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and acknowledged. Furthermore, I am profoundly moved by Japan's commitment to maintaining low crime rates. While no society is entirely immune to crime, Japan has undeniably created a safe haven for its citizens. The social cohesion, collective responsibility, and effective law enforcement contribute to a peaceful environment where individuals can thrive without constant fear or anxiety. This dedication to safety is something that I deeply admire and wish to see replicated in other parts of the world. Lastly, the intelligence and intellectual pursuits of the Japanese people have captivated me. Japan's rich history of innovation, technological advancements, and scholarly pursuits showcases a nation driven by a thirst for knowledge and progress. The emphasis placed on education and the relentless pursuit of excellence have yielded remarkable results, establishing Japan as a global leader in various fields. This intellectual prowess and curiosity are not only inspiring but also serve as a reminder of the incredible potential that lies within humanity.

I'm from the US, and I've been to the UK and Germany. My favorite was the UK, because it feels like a very laid back version of the US (I was in Kent, so small place in general). Like the whole place (around the University of Kent in Canterbury) felt like it still had one foot in the 70s, then half of the other foot in the modern day and the other half several hundred years ago. Top places to visit: Tokyo, Paris (anywhere in France really), Dublin, Buenos Aires (really any major city in South America, but I think this is the one I would like the most).
Thanks for saying dublin, it's getting really expensive and make sure to visit the mountains and glendalough, nó tourists ever visit the Dublin mountains and there a stunning spot, and glendalough speaks for itself.
Dublin was ok but I’m guessing the countryside and smaller towns in Ireland are much better. Dublin itself was comparable to any major UK city but it was more expensive than any city I’ve ever been to, including London Edit: re-reading this it sounds like I think Ireland is in the UK, I know it isn’t, but I’m saying to me it was basically a more expensive version of Glasgow, Edinburgh or London

So sad denger bali jadi country hahaha.. padahal indo banyak yg bagus selain bali.. w setuju sama komentar yang pertama bilang ngeselin haha..

@@southcoastinventors6583 They are very racist, too say the least.
