ive had these for like 2 years, i love the sound and feel. they have a long battery life, just charge them after 2 days of all day gaming. My biggest and only complaint is the mic quality, I've never heard a good thing about how the mic sounds.
i recently got this headset cause i didn’t want to spend any money on an expensive one and the audio keeps cutting off or something even when i’m at the xbox home screen. when i hop on cod the audio just keeps cutting off bad idk why
Cloth ear cups that only trap heat and the mic monitoring is almost non-existent, which can be helpful in loud areas. I love the design but it misses the mark for me.
What I learned was u only know about half or slightly less then half of what you're talking about the rest is misinformation so like for example the auto shut off works on console and other headsets in the price range really ok turtle beach stealth 600/700 doesn't have detachable mic I'm not gonna use Logitech headsets to compare sense Logitech makes both astro and there Logitech g headsets n so on then there's the steelseries and can be pricer also like 179.99 kind of more lol let's see rig headsets around the same price not all of them have detachable mics only certain ones let's see it's hard to think of all of them but there's a few major brands and sound wise it's flat meaning no the mids aren't higher or lower neither is the low or highs there all equal making for more accurate sound and there's actually more detail to this headset then most and I can hear when someones above or below me or to the sides positional audio is actually great n trust me I've tried and had tons of other headsets other brands n so on and have done alot of testing with headsets and the eq settings are as far as i can tell is astro,studio,pro/bass boost and if you can't tell the difference I think you might wanna go to a dr because I can tell the difference between all 3 modes completely they literally sound completely different from one another how ever i find the best eq mode is the default 1 beep because it's a mix between both of the other modes even tho it's flat the second beep raises the highs the 3rd beep gives you deeper bass meaning your lows are lowered for deeper bass and the first beep being flat it's a mix between both and also I have the gen 2 not the gen 1 the one that you showed is what comes with the first gen so it's gen 1 with the audio update V2 see they did that with the astro a10 you can buy the old astro a10 in 2 vairent's the old audio and the new updated v2 audio see incase anyone didn't notice he is using the original a20 with updated v2 audio you can tell because he's using the old usb dongle style witch you can see even on there website that he literally shows you that the new one is just a USB dongle like the one on ps4/5 and you can use the ps4/5 one on Xbox just by buying the USB transmitter dongle witch is not the box that he shows you but you can see on there website that he shows you that it's not the dongle box anymore you can see where it's just a usb dongle so sense he has the box not the reg usb dongle it shows he's using a gen 1 version with the updated v2 audio again they did the same with the astro a10 they have 3 different versions of the astro a10 they have the og a10 then the og a10 with v2 audio update then the actual new astro a10 headset with the v2 audio now if the headset he has is a gen 2 it's obvious that that's weird because they usually don't do that and give you the old transmitters or box dongles lol anyways not trying to dog on ya or nothing but there's a bit of misinformation in this one idk if it was him just trying to get views or if he was really misinformed or what exactly but it was a decent vid tho just a bit of misinformation n stuff but yeah!
@@kingrr3152 stealth 700 gen 2 it has a better mic for the simple fact that you can turn on a noise gate and when you talk or have it unmuted it doesn't pic up in game audio and out side audio the a 20 pics up everything from the next room to the in game audio sound wise how ever I think that's more personal preference so technically yes the stealth is better in terms of the microphone because of the noise gate setting you can turn on but when it comes down to it it really depends on whoever is using the mic weather they give a crap about the mic or not picking up in game audio and in your next room audio like your girlfriend talking or the air-conditioniner being on vs the mic not picking up all that audio because of the noise gate so if they don't care about weather the mic pics up everything then the astro a 20 is the better choice but if you care about the mic picking up everything the turtle Beach stealth 700gen 2 is the better choice!

legit dogshit, try to turn the volume up and it does whatever it wants, gets louder then quiet, infinite loop of trying adjust volume on a randomized volume wheel. this issue is 10x worse because if you where this headset over a hood, everytime you turn your head the volume wheel gets spun and youre back to fighting to even turn the volume up. I will never buy astros again.
I’ve had the same issue. From what I’ve read online it’s because the volume wheel gets loose after a while. Just a few days the volume adjuster for party/game chat stopped working, and I’ve had the A20 for nine months. This one is from the warranty because the first one I bought had a faulty dongle after a few months. I definitely don’t think it’s worth the price even after its value has gone down.

no if you have a Xbox buy the a20 with the green accent and for play station the blue one, and if you get a pc later on it will work with it too
