Love mine as a sling and a clutch with the hand strap! I use it interchangeably with the tech case mini. I can also and actually pack a LOT of tiny necessities in it.
Excellent review as always. I own one and really enjoy it. I’m a very minimalist carry. Keys iPhone wallet AirPods hand sanitizer tissue that’s it. Definitely agree about the back pocket wish it had a zipper for added security. Obviously if you a bit more than a bigger sling is the way to go
Aaron, fairly new subscriber. Great review. I love Alpaka stuff but I am a little disappointed in that rear pocket not having a zip. That's a feature that i look for. I may go the flight sling route instead
Really wondering. Can it be a fanny pack too? Cus im a daily fanny packer. Im using alpaka’s waist pack. They are waay too big. When u sit the bag pushes towards ur stomach its really uncomfortable. Also, the big buckle is dead on centre also gets stuck when u lean back when sitting. This nano slings seems like the perfect replacement
I think you need to look for a dedicated fanny pack. This is a sling, which means its designed to wear cross-body. Check out the Evergoods CAS or the MHP, or the WANDRD Fanny
Awesome review, I've personally been looking for an everyday pocket reliever sling with just a bit more room for few other things like a power bank and mini game handheld (similar to the size of a second phone). Do you think the go sling nano has enough capacity capacity or would you recommend something a little larger like the bellroy venture 2.5? I don't want to go to large as I don't have a lot I would put in it for everyday.
I bought this Go Sling Nano after watching your Go Sling Mini review. I'm not a big fan of the look and weight of bigger slings so I bought the smaller one and it's perfect for the amount of things that I usually carry (not a lot). I like how the black X-Pac looks but I went with the standard one because I prefer the grey interior lining. I usually put my card holder in the back pocket and it's a pretty good snug fit so I don't worry about it falling out and I have taken it to festivals and raves. Now I have been looking at all of your videos trying to find the perfect backpack!
I like this one cause of the stiffer cell phone sleeve in the back, protects the screen against a camera I might throw in there. This replaced a alpaka tech case mini, as the extra depth makes all the difference. The side slide mag buckle I feel is more secure than the slim ones. It’s sorta a tech version of the ubiquitous lululemon belt bag with its shape, useful.
I just wanted to let you know I've been laughing at the "tech version of the ubiquitous Lululemon bag" for days now. It's so true and I can't unsee it lol.
The open pocket is for your Boarding Pass and Passport while you’re waiting at the Gate so you don’t have to unzip and re-zip the main compartment. Once on the plane you put your Passport back in the Zip compartment.
Since size is always hard for me to gauge with these for some reason. Would you say this is a good sling for someone who likes the size of the Bellroy Lite Sling Mini but hates that it has no internal organization or a good place for a plus size phone?
OMgosh... I've been watching videos to try to figure out how to open up the magnetic clip. Everyone is having an easier time than me. Feels like there's a rare earth magnet in there! There's these indentations on each long side of the magnetic clip so it looks like you should put your fingers there which I did again and again, pulling and twisting. Then I happen to grab the two edges where the nylon strap threads through and slitting opposite directions and poof! It was unbelievable how easily this thing came on clipped. 🙄 Now I wonder if it could fall off. Hahaha.
Hi Aaron, wonder if you might share you thoughts on how this sling might perform as a compact camera case? Is there padding all around the main compartment or just front and back panels? Could it handle a camera and short zoom? (say W13cm x H9cm x D10cm) Thanks.
I think it should be OK, but I'm not a photographer and I don't have the sling with me right now. Could be good to reach out to their customer support, see if they have any insights
I know you said it cant fit a tablet but does that include the iPad mini? It looks like it could potentially fit one in the center area and you could still zip it shut but if you've tried then please let me know!
@@Nomads.Nation Back for reporting captain. So I got it today and it has been working just fantastic. Difference I noticed instantly from the module is the fact this has two outer pockets, one being a regular pocket and other a zip one, regular still keeps things tidy.
