In this video you can very clearly see the beards of the queens :) I like the color differences between the workers of colony 1 and 2, and it looks like a major will be on its way very soon as well! Maybe contact Mart for a few pupae for the tiny colony? Just for them to get more stable? Since diapause is looking around the corner already
Yes upon further inspection the question wasn't really needed in whatsapp.. ;) I'm liking the change in colour aswell.. The new "owner" will be very lucky.. Hoping to stabilize them first! Thanks for Commenting ❤️
Digging the colony was the right call in this case . Sometimes you just have to know what's going on . My dives faded away and i couldn't see only noticed they were not very interested in protien .
At first I wanted to keep them in their terrarium for a while, and just clean it properly, but their activity was so minimalistic that I didn't trust it.. and glad I did.. Hoping the queen will recover, so I can give them a good home soon.. Thanks for commenting ❤️
Hype is real for sure! Next month hopefully
I'm hoping so aswell.. you are making nice steps! Loving it!

Great video.
I hope that they will recover very soon!
I'm hoping so too! Won't be keeping them for myself, but will find them a new owner when the colony is stable..

Hope that your outworld-colony recovers and that the queen bounces back to a full gaster
Awesome quality footage!
I'm hoping too.. fingers crossed! Your fedtschenkoi is so beautifull!
Thanks for the kind words! ❤
good work
Thank you!
Update soon!
How are they doing? Still only at 2 workers? The same thing happened to my Camponotus Fedtschenkoi and they are at 2 workers and no brood still
The queen passed away shortly after I got them out.. :(
I have a 2nd colony which is doing pretty good fortunately..
What temp do you keep them during diapause?
I keep them around 15 during the winter.
why move them out of the tank?
Because there was minimal activity.. and I'm glad I did!
