after 1 hour of dying I tried this build and beat her on my 3rd try. THANK YOU!!! After playing Elden Ring I am so sick of the 4 hour boss fight crap lol!
My biggest issue with a lot of the game has been that nearly every boss is designed less to test skill and more to see if you can find the right kind of cheese to BS your way through it. They all just yeet around and break the camera, shoot dozens, or in Balteus' case, hundreds of missiles between every attack, zoom right up to you to perform melees that you can't actually dodge - you just either get lucky or manage to be just outside the range of when they actually swing. I don't know. The Ibis Series fight was probably my favorite, but the rest were either doing so much to just be overwhelming rather than challenging or were so easy to beat because they did one slow thing at a time or just stayed on the ground the entire fight so if you fly around or hover with the quad legs, you win by default. Only reason I've struggled with this fight in particular is the camera is god awful on m&k and 90% of the time I lost track of Ayre, she'd be right behind me a second later with a redshift melee that you can't avoid at that point. Edit: Don't come at me with smooth brain "Change your build" or "skill issue" comments. I'm on NG++ and have like five solid loadouts that make most of the bosses eat ass. This is an observation on poor boss design, that's all.

To me, it’s almost an hour I struggle to be her and she’s really impossible to kill. I can’t even walk onto her. She keeps teleporting behind my back no way to kill her in this game at co-op. It’ll be easier.
I think she was the most frustrating rather than hardest (which for me was Sea Spider). There's a little bit of RNG involved since some runs she wouldn't use as many of her flying attacks, so it's just keep trying until you get a good run and are in the right place at the right time.
This build still works. But you will want to rush to the boundaries. I boosted to the right as soon as I started. Then just used the pillars to block her blasts. Once I got her into phase two she broke them but then it was just a matter of getting all up in her face. I kept boosting at her and as soon as I was in front of her I double needled and then just unloaded the gatlings.
I don't know how, but sticking to the wall and using the stun needle launcher trivialized this fight. After beating her once, I instantly got an S-Rank on the next attempt.

It’s hard at first but once you keep it in mind it’s easy. Hit the lock on button while the enemy is in your crosshair. Then keep your mouse completely still. Lock on breaks if the game senses mouse movement
I used the same build, and some variations, none seems to work, she hits me like a truck, I cant see her 90% of time, and she spams sword atacks, sometimes she hits me 4/5/6 times straight with the swords.
Here I am thinking I'm going to be clever with my build, but almost every boss fight devolved into a paraplegic mech with double song bird/stun needle and gatling guns...
Was really struggling with this boss on my double zimmerman, so tried out double pulse gun with pulse blade and songbirds. Got it on the first try with this set up.
He moves so fast I can’t stay locked on and don’t know where he is. Getting frustrated. He isn’t staying close to me. It’s zooming around the map at light speed.
I managed to get the final blow with a mecha punch, ran out of ammo on my bubble gun lol. I got a good rhythm going by jumping over her with the thick chicken legs while locked on which avoids most of her melee attacks. I had an energy lance, plasma rockets, songbird, the bubble gun, and 3 assault armor charges. I could had a better loadout but I was too lazy and stubborn.
From my experience the last 3+ days of trying to beat this thing, no 😢 the impact and stun buildup for both weapons are just so bad now. Also doesn't help she's resistant to kinetic damage.
Struggled some attempts yesterday, today first try for succeeding. Thanks for the guide! I think these bosses are poorly designed when it really pushes you into cheese-gear methods like these, because actually avoiding his attacks with proper reactions is imposible due to his silly stunlocks, no i-frames, big hit boxes, and non stop aggression and getting out of camera focus and meeleing from behind even before you can turn, it's far from fair game design ngl. Meanwhile all the campaign is easy as fuck. Then there's these and Ibis being so OP unless cheesing in some way. That's simply bad, everything should work if at least you play well, but that's not the case.
I used a light build and was able to dodge all the attacks just ran outta ammo so that pissed me off cuz I was actually doing good unlike taking all the damage like this
And yes I agree certain bosses like this with the camera is just insane I have my sensitivity on max and toggled onto her and she still breaks my line of sight
and thats why the game is bad. its not the missions its all about the bosses because none of them match the mission difficutly. its really sad too because it seems FS is just getting so lazy with making hard games they forget to make them fair and balanced.
This build is great. However, died multiple times then I figured lemme switch to laser rifles instead of miniguns. Beat her first try so if the miniguns aren't working out for you opt for the laser rifles and keep the shoulders.
ugh, i feel gross, i had to use this build to beat her cause i just couldn't keep track of her. No matter how hard i tried she was just to unpredictable to not need a brute force meta build. Good build 10/10
You can beat her easy, need a fast mech to dodge, use those drones get 3 per use so you have 6 out at once, when she gets stunned, go knife her.. it’s timing and fun. But knifing her does a lot more damage. Also use the parts givin out before this mission.
Id like to add in my fight she takes half my health bar with this build and im not even stunned they must have messed it up in a update she dodges every needle shot and her shield is back by the time i take it down and hit her once with a melee that barely makes a dent in the health bar and i can barely make it to the 2nd phase after using all my repair kits with the OS upgrades and terminal armour but she still has like 1/4th of her healthbar no idea whag they were smoking every other fight besides the ibis but at least she didnt spam melee attacks as often as this one
Only three bosses the entire game gave me major grief and all three of them fly around off screen doing insane attacks that paint the screen with blinding and disorienting effects. Incredibly annoying more than they are difficult. I beat remnant two and that game was similar in that almost every hit of damage I took was from enemies off screen etc. have not beat this boss yet but it’s the last one and it sucks.
Omg i didn't know the hard lock on existed...my tank build couldn't keep up before. Turn that on and dont touch the right joystick and I destroyed her in one try. 😅
Edit:Put your back to the arena wall she cant flank you if there is no where to flank Cant wait for the balance on this boss in particular im on mouse and keyboard and there hasnt been a boss i couldnt keep my screen on 70% of the fight so far and she just decides to dash behind me 10 times in a row mixing up between shooting lil lasers or the blade 50/50 left or right. That being said lights to squishy for this and mediums just a lil to slow another thing i almost got her with was missle only with two twelve verticle launchers and dual missle gun (one of each kind as one staggers more and the other damages with only .2 sec between lock time)
I was getting her down to a pinch and dying i swear. Can confirm, buuld beats boss. Cant juat rely on firepower though. Gotta dodge a few attacks. Might be better to get heavy bipedal legs if possible or tetrapod legs so dodging can happen more frequently.
0:38 wait, your guys mission doesn’t start with her fuckin hammering on you already? Cause yea I can’t move until she’s gotten my attitude bar to nearly 100%, is it a loading issue?
I have no choice but build almost the same way just pure tank and hope i get lucky at attack and dodge died many time but got her st the end. Somehow the Needles Gun auto lock behind me when i was charing it and it stin her i spam my galtin gun and grenda luncher and get her. Wish they install a co-op to make it easier and hopefully Let Me Solo Her arrive and save people from this suffering
Its kinda funny how easy the miniguns and needle launcher make bosses. Im using the same guns but not the same body and i easily s ranked all the final bosses
This build but with the tank legs got me over the line in just a couple of tries. Im not very good at dodging so the bit of extra AP i got from my build over the one in this video was the difference as a couple of goes i got them down to just a tiny bit of health
If i'ts suppose to be easy with this build it's must be a nightmare with other builds, i have no idea what's happening when she have 50% healt left. Avoiding her attacks is impossible, i have to fly all the time, really weird.

It’s hard at first but once you keep it in mind it’s easy. Hit the lock on button while the enemy is in your crosshair. Then keep your mouse completely still. Lock on breaks if the game senses mouse movement
That's literally impossible when you have to use the mouse to SHOOT
try lift up ur mouse buddy XD works for me
@@Hugaizhere I am on PS5, and yeah, seems like I need to avoid touching the right analog stick... Which is counter intuitive in such a game....
Took a few tries, but with some lucky hits I got her just before she got me 😅 thanks ✌️
After hours of trying with a moonlight lightweight reverse joint build and getting her 1 hit away I have to resort to this 😢
Thanks for trip, i pass because use fcs short range as your clip. It's a must that help me track boss easier. Cheer guntank 🎉🎉🎉
Anyone see her hit you when shes flying? She takes you up so high, its crazy.
Yep, seen it too many times. Still unsure of how to consistently dodge it, since she corrects her aim on most of her attacks at the last millisecond.
Does this build still work after Patch 1.03 nerfed the Needle Launchers and Songbirds?
From my experience the last 3+ days of trying to beat this thing, no 😢 the impact and stun buildup for both weapons are just so bad now.
Also doesn't help she's resistant to kinetic damage.
I got her close to 20% but still cannot defeat this boss :/ I swear it’s like fighting against Zone of the Enders types of mech lol
Thanks!!
@@amongersus2893she is fast and annoying .. like that other one in the lower city ...the old relic protector one idk the game
@@amongersus2893 yeah the camera was the hardest thing about this boss, so long as you avoid the death beam combo
and thats why the game is bad. its not the missions its all about the bosses because none of them match the mission difficutly. its really sad too because it seems FS is just getting so lazy with making hard games they forget to make them fair and balanced.
Thank you!!
This build is great. However, died multiple times then I figured lemme switch to laser rifles instead of miniguns. Beat her first try so if the miniguns aren't working out for you opt for the laser rifles and keep the shoulders.
Thanks! I got her on my first try after changing my main weapon to dual heavy laser rifles too.
Which Laser rífles?
ugh, i feel gross, i had to use this build to beat her cause i just couldn't keep track of her.
Thank you ❤ I did it x
Don't even need that level of tanky. With just two gattlings and only one needle she's gets totally toasted
Everyone always has a bunch of parts that you just can't get before the boss. Maybe from arena idk
Omg i didn't know the hard lock on existed...my tank build couldn't keep up before. Turn that on and dont touch the right joystick and I destroyed her in one try. 😅
Not expecting game to end on this note
I guess I will play ng+, hopefully they have it
Edit:Put your back to the arena wall she cant flank you if there is no where to flank
Cant wait for the balance on this boss in particular im on mouse and keyboard and there hasnt been a boss i couldnt keep my screen on 70% of the fight so far and she just decides to dash behind me 10 times in a row mixing up between shooting lil lasers or the blade 50/50 left or right.
That being said lights to squishy for this and mediums just a lil to slow another thing i almost got her with was missle only with two twelve verticle launchers and dual missle gun (one of each kind as one staggers more and the other damages with only .2 sec between lock time)
Thank you
On mouse and keyboard the tracking is lost so easily it sucks so much ass, I haven’t played on a controller yet and I might have to for this fight
I beat her with a lightweight build. It was a lot of fun.
thanks!
I was getting her down to a pinch and dying i swear.
Can confirm, buuld beats boss.
Cant juat rely on firepower though. Gotta dodge a few attacks.
Might be better to get heavy bipedal legs if possible or tetrapod legs so dodging can happen more frequently.
Praise mother thank Jesus bless you for this build my holy saviour🙏
0:38 wait, your guys mission doesn’t start with her fuckin hammering on you already? Cause yea I can’t move until she’s gotten my attitude bar to nearly 100%, is it a loading issue?
Idk how tf to do this!!! I’ve been trying and trying with this build and it’s so hard!!
Beat her third try with this build. Just keep trying Raven.
Im so damn sad that I got nothing from that boss , no armor , nothing , rly disappointing considering the other 2 endings give you their armor
It kinda makes sense because this is a C-weapon, but I get what you mean
I have no choice but build almost the same way just pure tank and hope i get lucky at attack and dodge died many time but got her st the end. Somehow the Needles Gun auto lock behind me when i was charing it and it stin her i spam my galtin gun and grenda luncher and get her.
Wish they install a co-op to make it easier and hopefully Let Me Solo Her arrive and save people from this suffering
Worked ty 💀
Its kinda funny how easy the miniguns and needle launcher make bosses. Im using the same guns but not the same body and i easily s ranked all the final bosses
The regular tank treads are better for this one because the quick boost recovers faster
Easy fix for Hard-Lock on keyboard and mouse, just use sticky note paper to disable mouse movement and then it is easy peasy.
works just fine !
fights been patched, flamethrowers with same setup vastly more effective
This build but with the tank legs got me over the line in just a couple of tries. Im not very good at dodging so the bit of extra AP i got from my build over the one in this video was the difference as a couple of goes i got them down to just a tiny bit of health
My biggest problem with this game is that the more ‘challenging’ bosses are really just a dps race and just rng AI behavior. Not fun at all.
Since the needles decimate every boss in the game, guessing a nasty nerf coming. Beat the game (X3) before they do!
HOW YOU PHYSICALLY CANNOT STAY LOCKED ON
Dude the camera!!
Yeah!! Eat it! Took me three hours :(
you fought a different boss then I do. Almost seems like they patched it. When I get this boss to phase 2 it never stays on the ground.
I wish the boss stood still like this all game for me
The guntank meta is strong
Gatling Guns go BRRRRR
You got about a 30% chance to dodge her blade with those legs. Give the wheelchair a try
If i'ts suppose to be easy with this build it's must be a nightmare with other builds, i have no idea what's happening when she have 50% healt left. Avoiding her attacks is impossible, i have to fly all the time, really weird.
